I'm going to be generous and give 4 stars because I did like Nancy and her fiance/husband not sure what exactly their title is. But I went here for a few years because I had such a hard time finding someone in Mansfield that could do my coffin shape nails to my liking. Nancy was always nice but her work would always be inconsistent with me. Sometimes I'd be really happy and other times my nails would not all match in length and shape. Something Im very picky about. It would just depend if you came at a busy time or not. Busy time = rushed uneven nails. Also didnt like the inconsistenty with pricing. I'd come one time get charged one price then months later ask for the same exact style and get charged a different price. Also, never got itemized receipts so I could actually see what I was getting charged for what service. My current salon I switched too gives itemized receipts. I did like how they always offered me wine. That is a huge plus because some salons don't even offer a refreshment even though your spending hours in their establishment. Overall, would I recommend them? Yes because they are nice people and Nancy is quick if you want to get in and out somewhere. But if you are picky like me when it comes to nail perfection with shape/matching length and also like to watch where your money goes then you might not be happy. I now have switched to another salon that better meets my picky nail needs and gives itemized receipts. read more

I'm leaving a poor review due to a bad outcome from getting a pedicure to what is now a skin infection. I went last Sunday afternoon and I had gotten a pedicure there a few months prior and liked the outcome so I decided to go back again. I'm pregnant and I wanted some self-care done so I told my partner to come along with me and we both got pedicures done. As the girl was working on my feet, I felt a burning sensation under my right foot toes and she noticed something was wrong just by the way she looked at me and pointed at my toes (I wasn't sure then what she was looking at till after I left) so I let her know it burns a lot and she continued on with the pedicure. It was the most uncomfortable and painful treatment I got done, I was ready to leave. As my partner and I were leaving, he knew something was wrong and I let him know she may have cut me since it felt so uncomfortable to walk after that. Later that afternoon, I checked the bottom of my foot and noticed tiny cuts on my toes that were definitely not there before. I started having body aches and chills, it got progressively worse till Monday morning when getting out of bed, my right foot felt so heavy and hurt so bad when I even tried walking on it or applying pressure. I had to go to the emergency room twice that day since I had a high fever with body chills and they told me it was a skin infection from the pedicure I got. I couldn't believe it being true since nothing like this has ever happened to me and now I'm 3 days in with this swelling and pain, I'm traumatized on getting another pedicure again. read more

I absolutely love this nail salon. They are so so nice and do a great job! I personally only see Ivy. She has been doing my nails for months now. She is very precise and pays close attention to detail. I refuse to go anywhere else. Even some fancy nail salons I've been to don't compare. Ivy takes her time, doesn't rush. During this pandemic they are very carefully sanitizing after every customer. Whipping chairs etc... If you are looking to get your nails done I highly recommend this nail salon. read more

J & L Nail Salon have never disappointed me. I especially like their appointment system and they don't keep you waiting upon arrival. I'm always welcomed with a warm friendly greeting and offered something to drink. I've been going here for a few years and Jennyfer always does my nails and pedicure. She is very meticulous, efficient, and always make sure I'm completely satisfied with the service provided. I'm a guy and I don't like clear polish on my nails, so she buffs them to a clear gloss. It took years for me to find a salon that meet all my expectations, so I'm elated. Try them out...you won't be disappointed. read more

Very disappointed. Tried them on Sunday since they open a little earlier.... My daughter and I both got pedicures and a fill. I paid 15$ extra for ombré nail dip and by Monday they were chipping and now they look even worse. Will not go back. People were nice but work was sub par. read more

My friend and I were both displeased. Our shellac manicures and pedicures were rushed and are sloppy. We arrived long before closing and spent quite a bit. Gel overhang, paint around nails, not completely painted at the cuticles, or not painted at the tips. Pretty upset but still tipped 15%. Two hours later, I had a chip already. That never happens. I came here for a dip nail manicure (I couldn't go to my usual nail salon) the previous manicure needed to be soaked off. One of the techs brings a bowl of acetone and that's where it went bad. I've never had such a sloppy manicure my hands were covered in sticky polish from soaking in a bowl of acetone. After every thing my nails were lumpy and still had polish stuck to my cuticles and fingers. After scrubbing to remove the polish I showed my nail tech the mess. I was cut with a cuticle nipper when she was carelessly clipping healthy cuticles trying to clean up the polish! I'm still peeling paint off my skin. Needless to say I DO NOT recommend this nail salon they are very slow and the work it's SLOPPY. They really need to take more pride in their work. VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more
