I had an emergency visit for my first visit from an old silver crown spot and fractured tooth. Kylie did an awesome job cleaning my teeth and then Dr Perry explained work I needed. The following week I went in and I swear it was the best experience for what I was having done. I am here to write about the experience he provides for his TEAM. Because you can read the over 140+ Google Reviews about his practice to know you have made the right decision by choosing Dr. Perry as your dentist. I want to tell you what happens behind the scenes. Dr. Perry, his wife (Cara) and daughter (Brynn), bring HEART to the practice. They are generous, fun, and a genuinely caring family that put their practice, staff, and patients first. By doing so, the staff you are greeted with are a reflection and extension of them. We are all human and all have unique personalities, just like any group would, but there is something about working for (and being a patient of) Dr. Perry's team that makes you feel you are part of something special. They make you feel like FAMILY!!! Maybe it's the combination of his love for his family, the Texas Rangers, TCU, and gardening. Maybe it's his background of growing up in Christian schools, singing with the Texas Boys Choir, traveling the world as a child or simply pride in his work that makes him who he is, but whatever it is it's rare! Dentistry For Life (DFL) gladly accepted my UNUM Dental Insurance for Exam and Cleaning. The DFL…read moretook Full Advantage of my UNUM Dental Insurance by taking more than just the typical bite wing but also full head and mouth X-rays and Scans to the Full Extent my Dental Insurance Allowed. The Initial Examination by the Dental Hygienist took the liberty of pushing the sale of expensive orthodonics to align and straighten teeth and expensive Deep Cleaning Gum Therapy Treatments. During the Dentist Exam it was determined that an Old Capped and Root Canal Tooth needed to be extracted but instead of simply doing the Tooth Extraction which was covered by the UNUM Dental Insurance decided to refer me to an expensive Dental Inplant and Surgery Specialist ( A Good Friend of the Dentist). After taking all the expensive pictures and scans of my teeth and jaw scheduled the Expensive Deep Cleaning for a week later to allow time to complete the time consuming procedure. When I learned that Deep Cleaning and Gum Treatments were not fully covered by the UNUM Dental Insurance I called to Cancel the Appointment as I could not afford the Expensive Dental Procedure which DFL quickly changed to a Simple Dental Cleaning in order to get a few last dollars out of my Dental Insurance was subsequently advised by DSL that my UNUM Dental Insurance would not longer be accepted by DSL and that I would need to find another Dentist Office that accepts the Insurance or pay Full Price (Non-Insured) Costs for Future Dental Services Rendered by DSL. Now forced to have to find another Less Greedy Dentist that will accept my UNUM Dental as Full Payment for Dental Services.

I show up for a 7am appointment and I am shown a cancellation form. Took me asking multiple times to receive any form of contact info for an "office manager". Also told me that me that my brothers insurance was accepted and after 8 months and 5 separate visits, received a surprise bill and told they do not accept his insurance. Told me some bs about how it took awhile to fax over insurance information from provider. Never received one call from the non existent office manager. Dr. Young is great but will not be retuning after multiple problems with his front desk staff who only know how to swipe cards and setup appointment. Extremely disappointed after I have had extensive work done at this office.
