    I took my 2021 Subaru to AEW in December of 2023 to have the windshield washer hose replaced. The…read morewindshield washer fluid was leaking out of the car. They determined that a rodent had eaten part of the hose! So they replaced the hose to the front washer and told me they didn't know where to route the hose to the back window washer. Kurt said it was working fine on the front window now, and I told him the back window could wait. When I got home, I popped the hood and noticed there was no washer fluid in the reservoir, so I poured the gallon of new fluid in. I went into the house to tell my wife I was home, and then came back out about 10 minutes later to discover almost all the new fluid was running out into my garage and down the driveway. I called Kurt and he said he couldn't understand how that was happening, but he would "get back with me" to arrange for an inspection. Move ahead 6 MONTHS LATER, still no call back from A&E. I try to email them through the web site they list on Yelp, and it says the web site no longer exists! I try to email him, and the email bounces back. So I place a request for service here on YELP again, and 3 or 4 other places answer, but not A&E. So my only thought is that they sold the place and it's under new management? I don't know, but they did NOT fix the problem, they never contacted me again as promised, and the did not respond to the request sent to them through YELP. I ended up fixing the problem myself for $8.00. The second line, that he did not fix and that he told me "would not matter if I don't want to use the rear window washer" had a big hole it as well. When I filled up the reservoir, the weight of the fluid in the full tank caused the water to start syphoning out through that hole in the tube - once it was low enough (i.e. almost empty), it would stop and there would be enough fluid left to wash the front windows several times. They were all very friendly the first time I visited and I thought we had a good working relationship, but it turns out they didn't want to fool with the car although they really did NOT fix my problem and I was never able to contact them again. I don't know what their problem is, but I cannot recommend them as a reliable automobile service.

    At the end of June 2025, I brought my 2017 Audi Q7 to this auto repair shop for an inspection and…read morediagnostic check before a long trip to Florida. After the inspection, I received an estimate from the owner of the shop. My son picked up the vehicle because I was busy, and literally two minutes after he drove away, the check engine light came on. I contacted the owner and asked him to verify whether everything had been properly secured after the diagnostic, whether all connections were correctly reassembled. The owner told me that I would have to pay for another diagnostic and that he would not check it for free, even though I had brought the car in without any error codes. For several months, I drove with the check engine light on, which increased my fuel consumption, disabled the cruise control, and prevented me from passing the emissions test and completing my state inspection. Eventually, after even receiving a fine for an expired state inspection, I visited several other shops where the codes were read. Every time, the same errors appeared: P2006 and P2007 - Intake Manifold Runner Stuck. This is a very expensive repair, yet aside from reading the codes, no one performed any actual work -- the hood was not opened, the engine cover was not removed, and nothing was disassembled. Naturally, I began preparing for a costly repair. Later, a knowledgeable acquaintance of mine discovered that a vacuum hose under the engine cover had been disconnected. It is difficult to say whether this was done intentionally or whether the shop employees simply failed to reconnect it after their inspection and diagnostic work. However, I suffered significant emotional, financial, and reputational losses as a result. I strongly do not recommend this repair shop. Either the employees act in bad faith and cause damage so that customers will return for repairs, or this is a clear case of negligence. Additionally, the owner refused to provide even a follow-up inspection after the work they had already performed. I am extremely upset about this situation and feel deeply offended. What makes this even more disappointing is that the two employees who inspected my vehicle were from Ukraine -- my fellow countrymen -- and I personally messaged them asking to double-check that everything had been properly reassembled after their work. I was told that the owner required me to pay for another diagnostic before they would even look at the car again. Actually hose connected back few days ago and my car working fine again
