A local tire center had trouble with a cross threaded tire stud which caused the bolt to ring off. Not their fault as they were just trying to remove the tire for replacement. They weren't set up to do the replacement and referred me to Rush. When I brought my vehicle to them to fix they said it should be the tire store's responsibility but I couldn't blame them for whoever had cross threaded the nut. I agreed to get Rush to do my assignment and replace the tire stud. Rush said they would take care of the bolt fee of charge. I was shocked. They replaced the stuff and I was only charged for the alignment. Fantastic service, fast, friendly counter personnel especially Jose. I'll certainly use then in the future for my repair needs. I came here on a whim to get my moms car serviced. Her Mazda needed an oil change. I called before I showed up and they were very helpful and upfront about cost and any questions I had. I showed up with my 2 year old and was surprised to see that they have a pretty large playscape with a big slide and large toy car. My son had fun playing in it and it was nice that they had an area for kids to play in while you wait. After my son was done we sat in a large comfy waiting area that has move theater style seats and was playing Spider-Man as well as a faux fireplace and a coffee machine. I started to like them at the start, until they gave me the typical quote , 1000$ for tie rod replacment on both sides inner and outer..after telling me they couldn't get the jam nut undone.I can do that myself in one day for 200$ nice try tho, I walked in and they probably thought they would get me to sign that paper lolll. I have used these guys for years. They are no more or less expensive than any other repair shop for the work that needs to be done. Where they do stand out is integrity and honesty. If they tell you the problem, that's the problem, and if they quote you a number, that's the number. They don't try and upsell you. They don't try to squeeze you for additional work. They don't mislead you into spending unnecessary money. Which, makes them infinitely less expensive in the long run. This is the first time using their service. I needed an alignment and I wanted them to check my brakes. I actually told them I wanted a brake job. They can back to me and told me I was not even close to needing brakes.. They could have done a brake job and I would never have known. What a fantastic experience. From beginning to end, Alex kept me in the loop and walked me through what was wrong with my car and my options. I was terrified of something happening with the VVT while driving with my daughter in the car, so I was very relieved they could get me in quick and had it fixed by that evening! Always liked this location because they've never tried to upsell me or try to trick me. But when I went there Wednesday for an oil change as I'm waiting 20 minutes at this point, this guy comes and sits down next to me, and tries to tell me that I was a couple thousand miles past due on my oil change and that I needed a engine restoration additive . First of all I'm not an idiot, I knew that I was only a couple hundred miles over the recommended time for an oil change. Secondly, I don't like being lied to, or conned out of my own money. I know how much over I was because I looked right before I got out of the car. I'm not an idiot, I might be female, but I'm not an idiot. Thanks anyway. read more

The service I consistently receive from the team at Rush is phenomenal. Alex, the store manager, is always patient in any explanations I have to give him during a specific visit. I'm typically in there 3-4 times a year, and have been since they opened for my oil changes and I've never been disappointed. The level of transparency from the front end is always great, and I never feel like they are trying to up-sell me on anything. (Side note: my boys are older now, but they do have an amazing in-door playscape for the littles and some of the comfiest seating in the waiting room!! -oh, and they always have coffee available.) read more

6 stars!!!. long story short -I went to the Toyota dealership this morning to get my oil changed and tires rotated. They told me I need an alignment (for $129) but couldn't give me any specifics. I told them no don't do it I'll figure it out later. So while i waited, I called another place and it was 149 and then I called discount tire to inquire since I got my tires from them. Discount tire in leander does not do alignments but they referred me to Rush Automotive. So I called Rush automotive and the gentleman told me "it would be $59 plus tax. We will check everything out first before we do it and let you know". They had an opening today for 1 PM. They drove my car and made a few tweaks but said I did not need an alignment everything looked good & they did not charge me anything and even gave me a print out. I will definitely be returning with my son's vehicle to get some things fixed. And I will probably get my future oil changes done here too. So glad to find an honest place! read more

Super disappointed with our service. We took our truck in to have the heater repaired and was told would only be a 3 day wait (4 at the latest). It has been 3 weeks and still no truck. When we asked for a turn-around estimate initially, we told Rush that we needed our truck back by the weekend as we were moving to a new house - and if that wasn't possible we would schedule the repair another time. They ASSURED us it would only be a few days max. Days and days passed and every time we called for an update we were reassured "oh it should be ready by tomorrow at the latest". 2 weeks in and it was looking like we wouldn't get our truck anytime soon - so we asked if they could just put the dash back together so we could have the truck for our move and bring it back whenever they got the part in....The manager called us and said he would put it back together for an additional $2k! Here we are, 3 weeks later, still no truck.... Not only that, they convinced my husband to replace two parts that weren't even broken because "we may have a problem with them soon". I understand there are back orders and shipping delays, but Rush's lack of communication, dishonesty, and empty promises have left us in a major bind. I definitely would not recommend. read more

I am so disappointed in Rush today...I sent someone to them telling them that they could get a diagnostic for their air conditioner for free....WHICH had been done for us and I called the prior day to verify that person could have done and they charged this young man QUITE a bit of money for it. We will not be using Rush Automotive again and will be taking our business elsewhere from this point on. I have more to say but am angry and would rather not say it in the manner that I am feeling right now. So disgusted and disappointed. $600.00 for 2 headlamps and a diagnostic is a lot of money for a young person today...He was not told that the diagnostic was going to be that expensive...And to fix a car for 6000.00 for an A/C unit isn't sensible for anyone. I appreciate Joe responding but that isn't the absolute situation...that I understand it to be. I will clarify with this person and change my review if it is appropriate. read more

My recent experience at Rush Automotive was wonderful. I made an appointment to get my oil changed. They did a through inspection and gave me a written recommendation of repairs (brakes) to have replaced within the next 2000 miles. While I waited, I was offered coffee and water and sat in the most comfortable chairs that reclined. They definitely have my complete business going forward! read more

They may be nice and courteous but they lack honesty. i got an estimate to have my AC blower replaced and they said that it would cost $480 approx because they would have to remove my entire dashboard in order to access the blower motor. i watched a 4 minute video on how to replace the blower motor and all i had to do was remove one panel below the glove box and then there were only 3 screws holding it in place. i purchased a new blower motor for $70 and it took 20 minutes to install. i have no car repair experience whatsoever. They also told me i needed my water pump replaced and that would cost over $1,500. Thats more than double than what other auto repair shops said they would replace it for including labor. never going back. read more

Nice facilities and friendly service, but PRICE for a synthetic oil change was the biggest reason that made me drive out of my way to go to Rush Automotive. Unfortunately after just paying $83 out the door price for a full synthetic oil change (6.6 quarts) of 9/15/22, I am seeing other places a lot closer to me offer the same pricing. That's quite disappointing as I used to pay around $60 for full synthetic for my vehicle at the Rush Automotive Round Rock location a few years back, but alas it seems like inflation/the labor shortage has affected even Rush Automotive. I'll be shopping around before coming here again versus just blindly always taking my vehicle here in the past since I knew they were the best priced around for a full synthetic oil. read more

The best service I have ever received in my entire life! From the moment I walked in they treated me like family! I had a difficult issue to address with my vehicle but they went above and beyond to help me. They expedited the order of my parts and quickly addressed my issue as urgent. They even ordered me lunch because I had to wait due to my issue. These guys are top notch and really really care. They will do everything they can to help you! Staff was so friendly! The waiting area is amazing comfortable and very accommodating. I cant say enough good things about the service I received.
