STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been straight up lied to about where my glasses where. I special ordered sunglasses from Maui Jim and the sales person told me it would take 1-2 weeks. At the end of the 2 weeks I had not heard anything so I called back. When I did I told there was a problem with UPS having weather related delays. When they called to update me about the order they assured me that it would be delivered the following Friday and that they were looking for the order because of this mix up. Friday comes, no call or email to let me know that they have received them. I called them and was told that they were out for delivery and would be there by End of Day. I waited and called back about 20 minutes before close only to find out that they were not out for delivery, they were on a truck still in another state. I finally get the glasses and then proceed to talk to the Manager about my experience and she proceeds to tell me another reason, why my glasses were delayed. That there was an Issue with the optics from Maui Jim. WHAT IS WITH ALL THE LYING? Delays are understandable, Lying is not. read more

What a great experience with Dr. Choi and her staff. Unfortunately I kept wearing a few of my old contact lenses ( a lot of us do that ) . After a few days of slightly red irritated eyes I decided to have my eyes checked out. Dr.Choi immediately prescribed me a prescription for my inflammation/ infection that I had. Had no idea it was that bad. So of course I was strictly advised not to wear contacts. I'm happy that I didn't wait any longer to see her. read more

I went to Runway Optometry with my girlfriend and was met by Mike, Andrea and Jessica and it could not have felt more like home. Being new in the LA area, it was a relief seeing such friendly people there who were ready to help. Dr. Ueda was amazing and you could tell that they treat everyone that comes in like family. Not going to lie...I'm a big Warby Parker fan, or was at least before I met the group at Runway Optometry. I'm a big fan of group an organizations that are wiling to disrupt various industries, but Runway Optometry totally changed my view about the optometry industry. Runway Optometry gently reminded me of what has been missing lately--that personal touch. My review is mainly for Angie as I have not received an eye exam yet (which I recently booked btw with Dr. Choi!!) I've been in the store a few times just perusing the aisles, I'm like a window/Amazon shopper to the max, but never has anyone been so patient, informative, and understanding as Angie was. I really appreciate the no-pressure experience. I appreciated how she took as much time as I needed to show me how certain frames look better on certain face types, why its better to invest in a certain type of lenses, etc. I have to say, I've never looked so forward to an eye exam and getting a new pair of glasses than I am now. Everything about my experience was amazing. The staff was super efficient and friendly when I called to schedule an appointment. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and taken care of. They even recommended which frames would fit the best and offered brands I wouldn't have considered, but really ended up loving! The optometrist was really kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She was also very thorough when she explained my results and how to use the two different types of drops she recommended. Everyone at the office was so friendly and helpful. Beware of this place. Andrea and Angie are engaged in BILLING AND INSURANCE FRAUD. When Angie sold me lenses for my glasses, she charged me for Crizal AR coating and ordered a cheaper coating. She also charged me for progressive lenses even though I was only getting single vision. Then she charged my insurance for anti-scratch and UV separately (which costs more) even though they are included in the AR coating. She also billed my insurance for edge treatment, which I did not get. She never gave me a receipt. When I went back for one, Angie gave me a fake receipt that she typed up. With the Crizal coating, you are supposed to get a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), which I did not initially receive because that is not what was ordered. When I questioned it, they said they had one and I could pick it up, which I did. In other words, they took someone else's COA and gave it to me. I reported all of this to my insurance company. The optometrist, who apparently was unaware that all of this was occurring, spoke to me but never admitted wrongdoing. In addition, she implied that she would fire Andrea and Angie after the holidays, which apparently she did not as this issue occurred back in 2017 and I see reviews posted in 2018 with their names. Therefore, I am writing this review a year late. LET THE BUYER BEWARE. GET A RECEIPT FOR ALL OF YOUR PURCHASES AND MAKE SURE WHAT YOU PAID FOR IS WHAT YOU GOT. VERIFY WITH YOUR INSURANCE THAT WHAT YOU GOT WAS WHAT YOUR INSURANCE WAS BILLED. read more

Amazing service from both Dr. Choi and staff. Dr. Choi was very knowledgeable and helped to make sure I was getting the best prescription for my eyes. She also diagnosed me with some eye issues that I was never aware of or or told by other doctors. Dr. Kayla also examines my 7 year old daughter and gave great advice as well as recommended eye therapy to help her in the future. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and truly care about giving us the best glasses and deals. They are also amazing with kids and very sweet with my daughter. I received a call one hour before my appointment time today to let me know that they hadn't merged their ZocDoc calendar with their internal calendar so my appointment scheduled through ZocDoc (which I had confirmed over text message by replying "Y") needed to be rescheduled. They did work with me to re-schedule with me but it is with another less convenient location at a later date. They have offered to give me some contacts to tide me over, but this is my first experience with them so we're not starting off on a good foot. Disappointed. read more

She was very good about answering my questions and explaining the various testing procedures used during my visit.
