Was excited to work with her since the reviews are good but found her response unprofessional. She told me my dog is "too big" but he's 18lb and her website says there's a 30lb weight limit. I'd suggest updating her website to reflect this accurately & include that she's not accepting new clients read more

Susan is great! Our 10 month old labradoodle Frankie loves Susan. Susan walks Frankie pretty much daily and she's also watched Frankie when we went out of town. It's great having someone like Susan who not only takes great care of Frankie but Frankie just loves her! It makes use feel great comfort to know that Frankie is not alone all day while we're at work and is getting a walk and a little social interaction as well :) We would recommend Susan to anyone looking for either walks for their pup or a comfortable home environment for boarding :) read more

Susan is a wonderful and sweet person! We knew this when we went to her house for the "meet and greet". Our fur baby, Quincy, got along well with her fur baby, Douce. Quincy loved her big yard and he even gave Susan kisses when she picked him up to hold him! Our worries of leaving him behind while going on a trip were gone! We are so happy that Quincy loves it at Susan's and we plan to bring him back soon a couple of times a week! We highly recommend Susan for all your fur baby needs! She is awesome! read more

I recommend Susan to EVERYONE and especially to those that worry a lot about their fur babies while they are gone on vacation. I have 2 Jack Russell terriers, Rico and Lola, who I love so much and spoil so when I go out of town I always make sure they are taken care of and they are in a loving and safe environment. I found Susan thanks to a recommendation of a great dog walker and decided I was going to check her services out. I am so glad I did because my dogs are very happy every time they go to Susan's house! She is awesome and my dogs had so much fun. What stood out the most with Susan is that my dogs were able to socialize with other dogs, Lola specially enjoys playing and chase Douce around. I think the dogs feel safe as they feel in their own house. Susan house has lots of space to run around and play ball in the huge yard and your dog won't be kept in kennels. I really really recommend using the services provided by Susan. She is great and a genuine pet loving person. She has taken care of Rico and Lola twice and the next time I am out of town I will definitely leave them with her again! read more

Susan is an extremely friendly, kind, and affordable dog walker! My wife and I have contacted her several times now to look after our dog and cat while we are out of town. Susan not only does a great job, but she genuinely cares about our animals, too. If you are looking for affordable pet care services in the Seattle area, Run Spot Run is by far the best choice! You won't be disappointed. read more

Susan is just the best. I am so happy to have found her to walk my dog, Lola. I work full-time and recently started graduate school. Susan has been really flexible with her availability for Lola's walks. She is always able to fit me in for an extra visit when I have a tight schedule and can't make it home between a work meeting and school at night. Lola is a super high-energy girl and I can tell when I get home from a full day of class that she's happy and relaxed from her outing with Susan. My dog is pretty much my favorite thing in life and I'm more than a little overprotective. It's wonderful to have someone I trust as much as Susan to be there when I can't. read more

Susan has taken care of my pups three different for house visits. Shes a professional, I feel comfortable and the dogs like her.

We have trusted Susan to take care of our babies (cats) multiple times in the past, and we have always been very impressed! Our cat is extremely shy, but he trusts Susan enough to come out and say hello whenever she visits. She is extremely reliable, and great about responding to emails and texts. Without having an extensive knowledge of the competition, we feel that Susan's rates are very fair, and she has been open to negotiation in the past, which is great. Using Run Spot Run allows us to travel and feel confident that our house and the cat will be well taken care of! read more

Probably the best experience I have ever had in having somebody caring for my cats while out of town. Not only did Susan feed my cats twice a day she fed them right around the time they typically eat. Susan is very caring and trustworthy, if you need someone to care for your pets when you're away your search is over! A++ read more

Susan took care of my lil pooch for the weekend. She got love and attention just like she would at home. Susan was willing to do whatever it took for my elderly mostly-deaf chihuahua to relax and have fun. I would definitely recommend Run Spot Run Seattle for any dog that needs love and attention. Thanks again! read more

Abbie loves going over to run spot run! Susan is super flexible with her availability and I know she treats Abbie like her own fur child! Susan is very knowledgable with animals and I trust her completely whenever I leave Abbie there! read more

I cannot say enough fabulous things about Susan. I am out of town frequently and my husband works odd shifts. Sometimes we need Susan to come at 2:00ish and walk him and sometimes we need her to come at 5:30 and walk and feed him. Whatever it is, Susan is incredibly flexible and is always available to our somewhat customized needed scheduling. Not only is she super flexible, but she is also just a very sweet person and demonstrates that she truly has a passion for animals. She also gives us updates if she notices unusual behavior from our dog (he's pretty old). I would recommend this fabulous little lady to anybody wanting truly good care for their animals. read more

DO NOT USE SUSAN FOR YOUR PET NEEDS! She is a LIAR, and very unreliable. When I originally booked my meet and greet with her she no showed saying she forgot, and rescheduled to the next day, the meet and greet went well with my pups. So I used her services when I traveled to Arizona a week ago, to take my two chihuahua's out twice a day. I had left on Wednesday at around 3 pm and she said she would come that next morning and later in the day on Thursday. I have a outside security system that lets me know when people come into my house. It is 2:00 pm on Thursday and Susan has not been to my house yet. So my dogs have been left for almost 24 hours. I called her a few times and texted. She then told me over text that she was there at 9:30 am, and was going there shortly again and continued to ignore my call, would only text me. I saw that she finally came around 2:45. She finally called me back and I asked over the phone, did you really come at 9:30 am? She said yes I did. I said no I know you did not because my security would have alerted me. She then said "I actually did not come, I had a more important appointment." She LIED to me and left my dogs. Do not trust her, unless you want your dogs to be neglected. I bet so many other of her clients do not have security, so i'm sure that she gets away with whatever she wants. read more

My family and I went out of town for a couple days and I dropped off my dog Andrew with Susan. She took really good care of him and I would highly recommend her if you need someone to take care of your dog and she is a very nice lady. read more

I feel so incredibly lucky to have found Susan to take care of my Yorkshire Terrier, Sammy! I never worry about him when he is in Susan's extremely capable hands. To know that I have someone I can trust so completely to take care of my "baby" is just such an incredible relief. When I pick him up from a stay at her place, I know he will be happy, healthy and content. (And a little bit tuckered out because she completely indulges his fetch-playing addiction, which I love!) She is so kind, caring and truly involved in getting to know your pet and meeting their needs. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Susan and Douce (her amazing, lovable canine assistant)! read more

If you have ever felt a twinge of guilt leaving your Fur Angel behind, connect with Run Spot Run - that feeling will cease to exist, promise! I couldn't LOVE my little Oliver any more than I do, and leaving him is always a sad occasion. For me. NOT for him. Because there are few things he LOVES more than going to his "Aunt Susan's" home - it's like a super fun dog-centric staycation. Susan has a wonderful yard, her living room is set up for the best dog slumber party ever, with toys and beds and everything a pooch could want. In his dog world, I picture it like visiting with your fun lovin' cousins where you get to play all day and have a ball and you don't want to go home. Susan is a dog whisperer who can figure out how to make all the dogs she cares for get along and play together beautifully -- I don't know how she does it! When you return to pick up your pet, this is the best thing ever: we find Oliver smiling and having a blast. Bottom line: Susan is one of those people who might actually love your best friend as much as you do, and really, that means everything. read more

I'm so glad I found Susan to take care of our animals. She does a great job! The animals love her and she is very dependable. I have been using Susan now since 2012. My dogs love her and she has become an integral part of their lives, and now also for our rescue cat. We would be very lost without her excellent care and assistance. She has saved us several times during family or work emergencies and it is such a comfort to have her in our corner. She does an excellent job, but more importantly, she really cares. Thank you, Susan! read more

Susan is always fantastic with our dog Ashley, who we send to daycare when we have plans on the weekends. Ashley always comes back happy and tired. Susan is really flexible with her hours so we don't ever have to rush our plans. She is also very attentive to the needs of our dog - the last time she even gave us dried pumpkin because our dog was having some stomach issues. Susan is the best and I can't recommend her enough - it is great to know that we have someone close by we can count on to watch our dog if anything comes up! read more

This is the perfect place to take your dog! My dog Sophie has been staying at Susan's on the weekends for the past few months. Every time I drop Sophie off she is so excited and when I pick her up she doesn't want to leave! I recently left Sophie there for two weeks and Susan really treated her like she was her own dog. Susan has a wonderful yard for the dogs to play in and the dogs have so much fun. She is also extremely friendly and very knowledgable about dogs and has given me many good pointers. I highly recommend bringing your dog here! read more

"We are thrilled to have found Susan to take care of our 'baby' Orlando. She is extremely kind and considerate, utterly reliable and very knowledgeable about dogs. Orlando loves staying with Susan - he runs around the yard chasing Douce, sleeps on her bed, plays with all the toys and has the time of his life, so much so that when we go to collect him, he doesn't want to leave! It's a great relief to know that our precious pup is in such good hands." read more

We LOVE Susan! She is the sweetest, kindest person and my fur babies absolutely adore her (so do I!). A little over a year ago, we adopted a 2 year old male cat from the Seattle Humane Society. We were told he had behavioral problems and could be a bit feisty-- the reality is that he had a difficult life and just needed patience and a loving home (he's a cuddle machine now)-- but while integrating him into our home and introducing him to our resident cat (a 6 year old female cat who believes she is a princess), we noticed that the tension would sometimes cause fighting between the two of them. Even though we introduced pheromones and went through a fair amount of training over a period of a few months, I was incredibly anxious to leave the two cats alone together and wanted to make sure I found a pet sitter who really understood the situation. Susan came to our rescue! Not only would she come to our house to care for them and play with them, but she also cared for our home and gave me extra assurance. I had a "kitty cam" installed so I could check on the cats while we were away and Susan assured me that if I ever saw anything strange I could simply call her and she would rush right over-- that kind of peace of mind is unparalleled. Susan really goes above and beyond to make sure the cats are well taken care of and we (cat mom and dad) feel comfortable knowing this. We have not had a single problem with the cats while we have been gone-- and this is due to Susan's excellent care. I highly recommend Susan to anyone-- she does a great job with our cats, but she is also just a wonderful person and someone I trust-- that is truly priceless. read more
