We walked up to this restaurant hoping to be seated on the outdoor patio to enjoy the sunset. We…read morewere accompanied by our service dog, who was leashed, calm, and under control. A man who did not identify himself told us we could not have a dog. I calmly explained that he is a trained service dog. I was repeatedly told that he was "not a service dog," accused of lying, and asked multiple times what task he is trained to perform. Each time, I answered that he is an allergy detection service dog. The interaction quickly escalated. The individual raised his voice, used profanity, moved aggressively toward me, and adopted a confrontational posture. His behavior was intimidating and made me feel unsafe, as though he was attempting to physically intimidate me into leaving rather than resolve the situation professionally. At one point, another staff member approached and physically crowded my wife, further escalating an already tense situation. We remained calm and non-confrontational and contacted the police to de-escalate. The responding officers were professional and respectful. A trespass notice was issued, which we complied with. The officers also explained that a trespass notice does not determine whether ADA obligations were met. Our service dog was never disruptive, and we did nothing to provoke this response. I am sharing this experience so ownership is aware and can ensure staff receive proper ADA service-animal training and de-escalation training. No customer should feel intimidated or unsafe when simply trying to enjoy a meal

We just made a quick stop to grab some adult beverages and a small bite to eat for our trek. Upon arrival, we were greeted right away and sat where we wanted to sit, and our waitress was very attentive. You can't ask for anything else. We both had a Sailor's Rum Punch that comes with Spiced and coconut Remberto, Amore ,orange & pineapple juice which; was very refreshing. We also had a Beachside Bellini that comes with Champaign, coconut rum, pineapple juice, which was also good and had nice kick to it. This spot has a nice low-key vibe to it Tiki style. There's a lot of seating and there seating outside the hut, that sits in sand, which is nice. No matter where you sit in the place you're on the causeway so you have a gorgeous view of the Gulf no matter where you look. I wasn't really there to indulge in food. I just wanted a snack so I got a hotdog and chips and my wife got a Chicago style hotdog, nothing to rave about just a great energy booster. All-in-all, I will come back! This is a perfect place for us to make future pit stops, it's VERY convenient and well priced ESPECIALLY for the location that it rests in! Ps. You might catch our local celebrity, Zeke!!!!

It basically tastes like a liquid mudslide with multiple liquors used. Flavorful, not tart nor dry. It was smooth and easy to drink. Their menu is online and covers a huge variety of liquor types. They also have a snack menu. Follow them on Instagram as they will post if they are closed for a private event. The bar is located on the third floor and we took the elevator to get up there. The atmosphere is an open outdoor bar with tiki themed decor and a DJ. The music was super loud which was not appealing to us but we found a secluded table that was away from the noise. The views from the rooftop are spectacular even if it was way too loud. We ordered one round of drinks and all of them were delicious! I ordered the buttery chi chi which was not super strong which was perfect for me. My partners ordered stronger drinks and both were delicious. The ratings on their menu are definitely accurate for what you can expect from a liquor forward perspective. The bar was slammed so it took a little bit to get our drinks but everyone was very nice. We didn't order any food but would probably return for drinks!

What a DOPE, PIRATE THEMED, speakeasy to go to grab some delicious drinks! Totally blown away!…read more Tucked, downtown Tampa you enter through a secret bookcase door and you enter a very low key pirate bar! Lighting is dim, which is part of the concept. (Auto flash is needed for pics) The joint, is VERY CLEAN! The staff is awesome and very attentive! They understand process. The drinks are SOOO WELL MADE! I had a Zombie as my first drink, and it is very well presented and STRONG! I prefer,my first drink at an establishment to be strong cause then I can lighten it up later. Then I had a Rum Barrel, not as strong, but well presented and delicious! Note: Prices for drinks are worth every dime! They have a small food menu, but everything on the menu looked delicious, but I did not eat there. This speakeasy is attached to a British pub which I went for food after. (Review to come) All-in-all great spot to come and have a drink you are well treated, appreciated and just a fun experience! I will DEFINITELY come back here for a delicious drink and DEFINITELY will try something off the food menu. I'll just make sure next time I won't go there after a big breakfast lol! With all that was going on, it's a wonder we could find the exit after all the drinks. The pirate theme was the caveat. Plenty of signature drinks, a dozen different beers and even a few dishes are offered. They stir a nice whiskey sour. It's really what suits your fancy. Fear not. They have mocktails, too! 12/25
