The vibe here is nice and chill. Service is fast and food is decent ! Price of the drinks are decent compared to California. Been here a few times and it's always been good. People who come here are very friendly.

This is one of those places if you're near and want to eat well you can't go wrong with the rumble seat. Also the nicest people ever. Food never lets down too. And the vibe of the people is undefeated.

Water compared to my drink.. both glasses (cup( hold the same amount.. why us my drink shy? They undeserved for profit.

My 2nd or 3rd time there. Food is "ok".. service is terrible I couldn't even get my check or bags for leftovers ! OH!.. Here is a photo of my water compared to my drink! My water was in a smaller glass and more full.. (I am TIPS certified..) I know they hold the same amount.. it's the quantity that should be equal. Both glasses should be full. Also.. I ordered my drink "neat and clean".. bartender filled the glass with ice then proceeded to put fruit in it ! They don't understand Neat $ Clean ?? Very disappointed for the 2nd or 3rd time..

I came for the music and found the food really good. They have an outdoor seating area and do a good job of keeping everyone separated. It was quite busy outside due to a local entertainer. The wait staff worked as a team to see that everyone had what they needed. That is not as common as it should. As the days get colder, they will get good use out of the gas heater in the outdoor seating area. The chicken in my salad was hot and flavorful. I think the menu said it was marinated. Primarily a sports bar with tv's throughout the place. The owners have put together a winning formula to attract the customers who are still wanting to experience a pleasant restaurant night out. Parking can be a problem as it's located on busy narrow Springfield St. in Chicopee. I had to deduct 1 star for that reason. But don't let that stop you from enjoying a wonderful meal here.

No reservations, so get there early! An automatic bonus star for original craft cocktails and dinner specials. I abhor restaurants that rely on staple meal choices, forgetting that people need variety from the ho hum they make at home ( or can make at home- like Wood and Tap. Boo.). I love a place like this where you can look at the menu and see at least two or three things that make you think "WOW, what will I choose?". The restaurant is very bright with many high top tables. It would have felt conspicuously weird to take photos in the full-capacity situation we were in. There's also a gentleman playing acoustic guitar and singing Christmas music. Nicely done, with a professional voice and playing style. I would say, the only downside was that there didn't seem to be a consistency of how people were waiting on tables, so simple things like a set of silverware missed at our table, and then somebody brought a set and didn't bring napkins. Then one of us received the completely wrong meal and we had a delay in getting it corrected while we were already on a tight schedule with the other flubs to make the show on time. It was scattered issues like that all night that kept this from being a five star experience. It

I usually skip the pretzel, but I'm happy we got it because it was soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The nachos and burger took a super long time to come out. I think they were waiting to bring them out together, but that just led to soggy nachos and a lukewarm burger. The chips that weren't soggy were pretty good and the added chili was good for flavor. Drinks were good! I can't remember the specific one that I got but it was Apple flavored and perfect for the fall. They serve 32 ounce beer mugs and it was hilarious next to my tiny wine glass. I would check them out again if I were in the area and looking for this kind of atmosphere.

It cost $50/hour including shoe rental. Staffing seemed sparse and it really took a while for someone to acknowledge the 2 of us, and no one at least greeted us and let us know they'd help us shortly. It was a Sunday in April and the place was about half full. There are only about 10 lanes. No one ever came over to take a drink or food order but that could've been because I exclaimed how expensive it was for one hour of bowling. According to the April Vacation Special it seemed like I should've gotten apps but all I got was bowling & shoe rental. However, we had fun. The automated scoring, pin setup, ball return were in working order. There's lots of bowling ball weights and finger hole sizes to choose from. There's a GIGANTIC TV with some seating so it was nice to catch the Bruins game after we finished bowling.

Bar staff and service is great but table service can be hit or miss and food can be too. We went last Friday and it took quite a while for someone to come take our order. She was very pleasant when she finally came but we almost decided to leave as we waited so long. When our food came (which also took quite long) I noticed my boneless wings seemed more "plump" than usual. Typically the Hangars boneless are on the crispier side. Didn't think much of it until I took a bite into cold, rubbery, RAW chicken. . The server offered to have it redone but I declined and opted for chili instead. They took the chicken off but we paid for the rest. I was going to ask for the manager, but chose to contact via their Facebook page. However I got no reply. Serving raw chicken is a major health concern. And while accidents happen, The Hangar's lack of response is disappointing and will result in my avoiding it going forward. If you do go, check your food to make sure it's cooked before putting it in your mouth.

Why didn't they separate the wings? This is far from what Hangar used to be like when I was a kid. It's disheartening to see how they've fallen from what they use to be.. My waitress was awesome very friendly, quick to get me my order quick to get me my drink, I asked her about the menu. She was very happy to help with what she thought was good. I told her what I was looking at, and she suggested the four course Special where I could choose most of the things I wanted. And they did it for a price that was more than reasonable I was actually shocked that it was such a low cost. The food was delicious. I could eat a whole bowl of those brussels sprouts and nothing else and been happy. The salmon was cooked perfectly at the top it all off I had dessert which I hardly ever do and that apple strudel was delicious. I was a little confused by the layout of the restaurant, but it still seems inviting and warm. There was absolutely nothing negative about this place it just didn't have a flow to it if that makes sense. There was a lower dining area and there were some wall between the bar and part of the dining room, but the wall had windows it almost felt like an addition put in later but it wasn't. I don't know I'm not a restaurant designer. The most important part is that the atmosphere was great. The food was better and the staff was awesome. I will be coming back in soon and probably every time I come into town, which I hope is more often just so I can eat here again

I did feel that the presentation could have been a little cleaner and a little more rice but the dish still held our tastebuds satisfied. We are both gluten free which can be difficult . We ordered their price fix menu which included salad, main dish and desert. We decided that was a good choice. The salad came with a lot of unsavory dead end pieces in it which immediately affects the taste and look of the salad. I would give that a very poor presentation with just a small amount of taste. The deserts that came with it were all gluten deserts. That required us to order an extra dish, the bananas foster which should be good. The presentation was not good at all. The bananas were not caramelized which is part of this signature dish and the bananas were mushy and tasteless. It came topped with ice cream. All in all a disappointing addition we had to pay for. The service was very good and I did tell the waiter of our disappointment with the bananas foster and he said " I am sorry" , I guess I should have asked for the manager but the waiter did suggest to take home the two deserts that we were owed. My husband would probably enjoy them. The cheese cake was very disappointing. It was dull, heavy and tasteless, I took a taste of the cheese parts. The apple strudel passable. They can do better. I know they have a large volume clientele but taste and presentation are key to returning customers at least it is to this customer and her friend. It will be awhile until we venture there again. Maybe they will take this review seriously and make some changes. I would suggest adding a gluten free desert offering to the price fix desert menu like flourless chocolate cake or chocolate mousse something if you want to attract a larger more versatile clientele. The redfish novelle is a very nice dish that I do recommend.
