I've been to Rumble City twice now - once with my sister for an intro class and then a second time today when I brought my whole team at work in for a team building exercise. Both experiences were incredible! I am so blown away by the community-minded, clean, humble, hard working spirit of this gym and its owner, Cesar. My sister and I got such a great work out, and had so much fun that I brought my team a month or two later. My team bonded so much over the experience. Cesar was attentive and welcoming, he pushed us while still being inclusive, we had fun together and we internalized the theme of our offsite: step into the ring. I was curious to try kickboxing and I randomly stumbled upon this facility totally unaware of how the experience is going to be and boy did I have fun. Tabitha at the front desk is very kind and friendly. She made me very comfortable and explained the process. I was introduced to Coach Dorine and Coach Pat. Both amazing instructors. They were extremely patient and detailed with their instructions. I learnt a lot . I made many errors but they were very patient with me. My daughter is 8 years old and LOVES it here. My daughter isn't very easy to please either. We have put her in swimming, gymnastics, soccer, dance, and cheerleading. It's not that we gave up when she said she didn't like those activities anymore, we kept taking her until we couldn't get her to participate...she physically would not participate. Well, we don't need to do that with her boxing classes! SHE is the one who asks to go, and gets her bag ready the night before. She has made friends, and we see her shadow boxing at home. She is asking for a punching bag for Christmas. She want's to attend all of the events. Also, she is very strong. I see her do planks, sit ups, you name it, and she is trying. I have never seen her try in anything before. It looks like we found her sport! and thanks to the team, I am comfortable with the environment she is in. As someone who used to go to SoulCycle, Barry's, and Pilates every week, I still didn't see much progress or definition. I missed going to kickboxing classes and was looking for a new gym after the pandemic. My friend recommended Rumble City Boxing, and I immediately signed up for a membership after my trial class. It's been only 3 months and I can see the results! Also, the coaches teach great technique and make each class challenging and engaging. In comparison to other kickboxing gyms like CKO and Title, Rumble actually encourages partner work and uses Muay Thai pads and mitts. I've been coming here for the last month and have really enjoyed (trying to) get back into shape after COVID. The coaches here are great - they encourage and push you, correct your form (hah oops) and change up the workouts each day! This has been long overdue, but I LOVE rumble city! My fitness journey started here almost a year ago. I came randomly after seeing it promoted on Instagram and wanted to try a class. I fell in love with the kickboxing/boxing class and have never left! They offer other classes and are on their way to adding more. I have taken the strength and conditioning class as well and love that class! Group instruction is great because they have awesome group instructors leading the class (or even have pricing that offers one on one training if you prefer that). You don't feel excluded or embarrassed if you're new to working out and have never done something like this. Trust me, when I was a newbie, I definitely was scared at first but it's just one of those things you have to conquer if you want success and I'm glad I did. SO happy to have found my second home! Located right next to AxeVentures, I stumbled across this gym and it couldn't have been more perfect. Finding the right gym with the right trainers I feel is very much like finding a good doctor. There are coaches and trainers everywhere, but I always find that it's the most motivating and encouraging when you find ones that sees your potential and pushes you to get there. I've been coming to Rumble City for almost two months now, and has it been such an amazing journey. I always finish a workout drenched in sweat, and feeling stronger both mentally and physically with each class I take! The gym not only has punching bags and pads and all the things you need for boxing, kickboxing, but there's weights and bikes as well! They're always working on adding new equipment and other perks that you really feel like you're getting the most out of your membership. It's well ventilated, there's plenty of parking and there's even a water station for you to fill up your bottle as well! All the members, Coach Pat, Coach Cesar, and Coach Sara really have an amazing energy and positive vibe that makes you so thrilled to keep coming back. You immediately feel like family once you take your first class! Shirlee and the front desk girls are extremely friendly and will take care of you with any questions you may have as well! So you never feel lost when you step into the gym! If you're unsure you can always try a class for free! Though I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a safe and effective workout place, I highly recommend him for these reasons: Knowledge - He focuses on form and technique --which is so important because it prevents injuries and it activates the correct muscles. I've been working with stretch coach Lorrie for several months now, and I can't overstate how effective her program has been for me in terms of increasing mobility and eliminating back pain. I've been training in martial arts for over 20 years, including MMA, boxing, Kajukenbo (2nd degree black belt), and BJJ (black belt). For the past 3-4 years, I've been struggling with chronic back pain (like so many people who train BJJ). Then in March 2022, I had cervical spine surgery and needed even more support for muscle activation, pain management, and neck and back mobility. I saw Lorrie's bio while attending a boxing class at Rumble City. So glad I decided to try it - I admit I was initially skeptical. Incredibly, after just a few weeks, my back pain was virtually eliminated by following her stretching and mobility program at home/gym, along with periodic visits for alignment and trigger point work. She's professional, experienced, has strong (STRONG) hands, and a genuinely warm, compassionate, and kind demeanor. If you're struggling with back pain, I can't recommend a consult with Lorrie enough - you will not regret it.
