I dropped in on for an open mat here today. What a beautiful facility! The reception area is like a chic boutique cafe. You'll also find extremely clean restrooms and gear space. Not pictured but there is also a Street Fighter vs Marvel arcade machine (free play) for those of us with fighter and gamer sensibilities. They sell snacks and merchandise too. Staff was extremely friendly. The mat space is great, and you will meet so many like minded and technical practitioners of the art here. They offer Muay Thai, BJJ and Dutch Kickboxing. Looking forward to checking out classes. Don't miss out on this top notch gym!

Since Coach Pat left this place has gone downhill. Even the mma instructors keep leaving.

My experience with their kids' program has been nothing short of exceptional, hats off to the incredible instructor, Travis! From day one, it was evident that Travis was not only highly skilled in Krav Maga but also knew the knack of teaching and working with children. Whether a child was struggling with a technique or excelling at it, Travis was present very watchfully, providing guidance, support, and positive reinforcement. One of the things that stood out to me the most was Travis's ability to create a supportive and encouraging environment for the kids. Moreover, he has a unique talent for breaking down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-understand steps, making it accessible and observable for children of all skill levels. What stood out to me in particular was his own values, principles and attitude which in my opinion are of paramount importance especially while teaching life skills to others. Beyond his technical expertise, Travis also instilled important values such as team work, discipline, respect, and self-confidence in the children. Through his teaching, my child not only gained valuable self-defense skills but also developed a sense of empowerment and self-assurance that extends beyond the mat. Beth, who is also an instructor and helps with the front desk, is extremely patient and helpful with any questions and a great teacher herself from the classes I've observed! If you're considering enrolling your child in Krav Maga classes, look no further than Krav Zone!

There's punching bag/fitness classes for cardio + strength, or contact kickboxing & krav maga classes for self defense and sparring. If you're new, I definitely recommend starting with some of the beginner level classes to learn the basics. This gym is also very welcoming to women, with women's-only classes, a wonderful female instructor (Beth), and always lots of ladies attending every class.

My name is Juan, and finding Gloglo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing Academy has honestly been…read moreone of the best decisions I've made--not just for myself, but for my family as well. My 20-year-old daughter and I train here together, and that alone says a lot about the kind of environment this academy provides. From day one, we both felt welcomed. The atmosphere is respectful, positive, and motivating. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or experienced--everyone is treated like part of the team. As a father, it means a lot to train in a place where I know my daughter is in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. Head Instructor Leo is the foundation of everything great about this academy. His knowledge of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is incredibly high level, but what stands out most is how he teaches. He has the ability to break down complex techniques into simple, understandable steps, making it easier for both me and my daughter to learn and improve. He emphasizes not just technique, but discipline, respect, and real-life application. You can tell he genuinely cares about every student's growth, both on and off the mats. Coach David brings a powerful energy to every class. He's intense in the best way--pushing you to give your best while still making sure you're learning correctly. His attention to detail is incredible, and he's always there to make adjustments that take your skills to the next level. Training with him keeps you sharp, focused, and constantly improving. Coach Caden is someone who really connects with students, especially when it comes to building confidence. He's patient, approachable, and explains techniques in a way that truly clicks. My daughter, in particular, has benefited from his coaching style--he creates an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and pushing yourself without pressure. Training here has been an amazing experience for both of us. The classes are structured, challenging, and rewarding. Whether it's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or kickboxing, every session builds not just physical strength, but mental toughness and confidence. What really makes this place special is the community. It's rare to find a gym where people genuinely support each other the way they do here. Everyone is respectful, helpful, and motivated to grow together. It's not just a gym--it's a team, and it feels like a second family. The facility is clean, organized, and professional. Everything runs smoothly, and you can see the pride they take in maintaining a high standard. Being able to train alongside my daughter in such a positive and high-level environment is something I truly value. Gloglo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing Academy has given us more than just training--it's given us a shared experience, growth, and lasting memories. I highly recommend this academy to anyone, whether you're coming in alone or with family. You won't regret it. -- Juan. D

Wish I had found this place sooner! I have trained ring style muay thai before I came here... and…read morehonestly this is authentic and original as you can get. It's like what a real old school gym is like - no classes... you walk in and warm up and the Kru and Sr. Instructors come up to you and provide you with one on one instruction. Honestly, if your goal focus is to compete then this is NOT the gym for you - not saying there is anything wrong with training to compete - but this gym isn't for that! But if you want to sharpen your ring technique - in addition to going to where ever it is that you train now - then by all means come here and learn this style. But like i said... if your sole purpose for training is to compete, Muay Thai Academy is not the gym that will be out there trying to get to fights. Here we focus more on techniques that are more applicable to real life, self-defense, protection, law enforcement, etc - but with the Muay Thai twist to it. So what I am saying is.... Muay Thai Academy is very welcoming with a team of experienced instructors that you won't find anywhere else. I wanted a place that kept the authenticity and integrity of Muay Thai and I found it here.

There is a reason people have come from around the globe to seek instruction here -- it's just that unique. While 'Muay Thai' is in the name of the school, it is merely the foundation of the principle art taught here: Close Quarters Combat. Close Quarters Combat is a combination of several martial arts (old style Muay Thai known as Muay Chao Chur, the military style known as Ledrit, as well as Boar Bando and Kalaripayat, a Burmese and Indian Combat Art) and is designed for street applications: law enforcement, VIP Protection, multiple opponent, military, and self defense. They can teach "ring style" as well, but sport/competition is less of a focus here. In addition to hand-to-hand combat, bladed and stick weapons training are also available. Instruction takes place in a free-form, semi-private format. With the exception of a conditioning class here and there, there isn't a structured class setting like you'll find at other gyms. The Academy is open from 5pm to 9:30, M-Th and late Saturday morning/afternoon, and you can go in any time during those hours and train for as long as you'd like or can handle. Instructors and Junior Instructors walk the floor, answer questions, setup drills, and help you work through techniques on an individual basis, then let you try them out on your own or with others. The Instructors are all top notch, have been working together for years, yet still have varied backgrounds and unique methods of teaching. Collectively, the knowledge they can impart is unmatched in any martial arts school in the area. I've trained here for the last several years off and on (my hectic work/travel schedule and frequent basketball-related injuries keep me from going as regularly as I'd like) and can't recommend it enough if you're a self-motivated, hard-working individual looking for unique, personalized martial arts training with street-applicable, self-defense focus from some of the most experienced combat technicians around. It is a real privilege to live in the same vicinity as this school.
