As an Asian American girl with no intentions to step into the boxing gym in the past, I came in with a lot of anxiety and fear of being intimidated by people who knew what they were doing at the gym. A good friend invited me to the boxing gym, and from day 1, I've gained a lot of not only tips for training and improving my boxing techniques from Art and people I work on mitts and gloves with at the gym, but also a boxing family. Remember: Ask and you shall receive. If you ask for tips, you will receive good advice, like body mechanics and practicality of the moves. While this gym has a lot of people, I always come out of the gym pretty satisfied with the workouts (unlike some gyms where people who are at the beginner-intermediate level may not be given as much attention). The conditioning also really challenges you in a good way, and it's more fun when you do the workouts together as a group: "suffering" together vs "suffering" on your own. Arturo (Art) is a super chill, knowledgable, patient, and effective coach who takes his time with people he talks to. There are many other people who are more than happy to coach you, so the gym is a very collaborative environment. Art's wife was kind enough to help me with freezing my gym membership via email. The kids are occasionally seen at the gym, so you can see their family dynamic, and the gym is family friendly.

Whether you're looking to get a great workout in or have the ambition to shoot to become a competitive boxer, Relentless Boxing is the place to go! I started here 7 months ago as a complete beginner and I've grown so much in that time. Not only are all the classes taught by Art, a professional boxer who has a great eye for detail and directly corrects your form even amongst a whole class of people, the community in the gym is also incredibly welcoming and family-like. Whether you ask a question to Art or someone experienced at the gym, you'll get a truly helpful and passionate answer! I've been taking personal training sessions with Art for the 7 months that I've been here, with the goal of becoming an amateur competitive boxer, and it's been incredible witnessing my growth, both mentally and physically. Art has supported me the entire way, and the plan next year is to earn my spot on the amateur fight team. Onto the next journey!

This is a real boxing gym where my son would know how to box if there was a street fight and he needed to defend himself. He has learned a lot since he has been including jump rope and his boxing skills are getting better by the day. I am confident in 2 years he is going to be awesome. Tom is great coach. He is very caring and pays attention to everyone. He truly cares about my son and all his other customers and it's hard to find that. I am so happy I found this place and would not switch. This is real boxing here. Before I joined I read the reviews and there were some negative reviews in regards to gaby (Tom's wife). I took my chance and took my son anyway. After knowing tom and gaby they have a good clean heart and desire to improve everyone there. Gaby does share a lot but you have to know her to know she means no harm. She always asks me "Did you feed him today and make sure to give him food and protein". I appreciate the thought and care. In my opinion if you going to go to a boxing gym, you can't be too soft about what gaby said. You need to be tough. I also stay there and watch my son while he is boxing and I see most people there seem strong. I am assuming boxing for a period of time really gets you strong and lean. Thank you tom and gaby for making my son better and giving him skill and confidence he will carry rest of his life.

I went in knowing nothing, never been in a fight, not even how to punch properly, but they were so beginner friendly and so encouraging, I learned so much and actually learned to box well. I didn't even know how to throw a punch when I started going, and after 3 months I was able to spar in the beginners area well. If you are wanting to go here to maximize the number of calories that you burn in a 45 minute workout, this is not where you want to go. There is duct tape on some of the punching bags, it gets hot in the gym in the summer, your knuckles may bleed if you don't wrap them properly, and if you want to learn how to actually spar, you are going to get punched in the face. If however you want to learn to build endurance, how to punch, how to block, how to dodge, learn how to manage your footing and your momentum, and how to even take a punch, this place rocks. I can't recommend it higher. Since COVID I've had a few kids and haven't been able to make it back, but I'm excited for when I can make the time to start back up.

You break into two groups, one group on punching bags and the other group on weights. Tuesday happens to be leg-day and each person gets their own bench station with dumb-bells. The two groups rotate between the benches and the punching bags. On the bags you're going through drills and you can refer to a TV screen to follow what the punching drill sequence is. On the bench side, Coach Martin demonstrated the leg exercises and we also used the TV screen for timing and a reminder of the leg moves. The facility is super clean, modern, and I liked how there weren't too many long breaks between the rounds. The class went by really fast! Just a quick tip: when the lights are still on do a quick check on the dumbbells to make sure you have what you need. Once the class started lights went off, class went dark, music started, just like a nightclub haha, and it took me a minute to pair up the right sized dumbbells! However, there were some minor improvements that can be made. 1) the class sizes felt too large. For the boot camp class, there were close to 30 students and approximately 8-10 different "stations" or rotations going on simultaneously. There were 2 instructors going around demonstrating the activities and correcting form but ultimately, we felt confused half the time. The echo and music also made it difficult ti follow the instructor sometimes. 2) for the boxing class, the different punches were called out as numbers 1-6. It took a while for my partner and I to figure out which number correlated to which technique. It was out first time attending the class, and I'm sure the regulars would know which number correlated to which punch. However, it would have been nice to have a quick intro during class. The gym is new, so I'm sure they are working out the kinks over time!
