Vitor is an exceptional teacher with such a mastery of knowledge of jiu-jitsu. Each morning, Vitor gifts us with such meticulous jiu-jitsu details. He watches us and advises us so patiently. Vitor skillfully arranges training partners to challenge the competitors and protect those with injuries so that everybody can work hard, improve their jiu-jitsu, and learn. Caio invests so much time and energy into making precise videos for our learning. I really appreciate how much he cares about our jiu-jitsu. He even had the team create a wall after a truck drove into the academy, just to make sure that nobody missed training, which is so important for our mental and physical health. This is my son's second time of being a guest here. My son is a high level competitor on the youth side of jiu jitsu. Every time we travel he insists on going here. He trained 5 hours here last night after doing 5 hours of wrestling camp. The gym is in immaculate condition it's extremely clean and well maintained. The mats are always being cleaned before and after every use. Every one is extremely friendly and welcoming to outsiders. There are no clicks or groups on the mat everyone is accepting and offering you to drill and roll and train. Professor Caio is probably one of the most passionate person about his craft being jiu jitsu that I have ever known. He is always at the gym and making sure it's running to perfect standards whether it's helping the beginner class answering questions just making sure everything is dialed in. This is a total professional dialed in establishment on all fronts. I truthfully cannot think of anything that is not dialed in. The technique that is taught here is best in the world hands down. My son was very fortunate and was an absolute privilege and honor to be able to spend a few days here. I had the honor of trying some classes at CTA about a year ago and was impressed with both the quality of instruction, the approachability and attitude of the practitioners, and the cleanliness and level of comfort of the training space. CTA has a top notch Brazilian jiujitsu curriculum that is taught here and many of the nearby affiliates. Each class is about an hour that includes warm ups, drills, and sparring. Depending on when you train there is also some time for open mat. During my trial class I was paired with a purple belt who did an excellent job as an ambassador of the gym. He walked me through some of the more advanced techniques during drilling and also answered a lot of my questions about the gym. The instructor taught some techniques that are highly applicable in a self defense or sport context. Sparring was fun, with a strong focus on technique. I recommend this gym to anyone who is either interested in starting or who has some experience in the art. read more

This review is for the Kids Jiu Jitsu and CT FIT classes. The review is long overdue and if I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. My son started Jiu Jitsu here 4 years ago when he was 4 years old. At the time, I didn't know anything about the sport. Instead I was just looking for an exhausting activity for him in a fun, safe environment. CTA was the perfect fit. The coaches here are passionate about the sport and have lots of experience to share with their students. Jiu Jitsu has been amazing for my son. First, classes are such confidence boosters - which make him an undesirable target for bullies anywhere. Second, post pandemic, a lot of kids need some help with social emotional development. This place hits the spot. The classes have an excellent mix of ages and skill levels, and everyone is learning how to interact respectfully. Third, the coaches foster an environment of belonging and friendly competition. The reward is learning a new skill/technique and growing as a person not the color of your belt. Now, one of my absolute favorite things is CT FIT. The scheduling is perfect for parents having their kids in Jiu Jitsu because the CT FIT classes are at the same time!! They also offer morning classes on most days. The equipment is top notch and the coaches are committed and professional. Taking these classes has been instrumental in my recovery from injuries. The coaches have been nothing but supportive and helping me adjust the workouts to my level. Although I have seen a bunch of gyms and trainers in the past, nothing compares to CT FIT. wont let you train if you get there a bit late after paying them 300 bucks to train. they also make you buy their $60 rashguard to train no gi. It has to be theirs so they can rob your money if not you cant train. even though a rashguard is 10$ at walmart, they really try to rob you. caio is never there and the instructors are low tier level you cant even find their records online except vitor paschoal who lost 20+ times and only won 8 times. not worth $300 or anything near that. read more

I have been training at CTA for almost 2 months and I am extremely pleased with the entire experience for both me and my 5 year old son so far. Everyone from my fellow students to the instructors, to even the gym owners were super friendly and welcoming to us right from the start. The quality of the instructors, including the professor Caio Terra himself, form an incredibly strong coaching team and so it's no surprise that this is quite a popular gym. In comparing this gym to others that I have trained at, the popularity also allows CTA to run better program offerings, such as separating Fundamentals classes (intro & beginner) from their Advanced formats - super appealing to me as a beginner to jiu-jitsu. They offer Gi and No-Gi classes, and another unique thing is that there is a Judo school that is run within CTA that you also have the option to train at for an additional cost. Also, in the kids classes, there are plenty of students within each age band, and so you don't see them mixing really small kids with much older and larger kids due to low attendance numbers like I've seen at other gyms. There are also at least 2-3 instructors for each kids class, and so my son always gets a ton of attention and supervision. He's loving his classes so far and is having a ton of fun. The facility is surprisingly spotless at all times and there are 2 separated rooms that allows different classes to run simultaneously. Also, the month-to-month format to their membership is really flexible and eliminates the fear of being locked into a long contract. Hands down CTA is an amazing place to train jiu-jitsu! read more

I was traveling for business and my instructor called in and asked if I could do a drop in. It is filled with a great group of people. I only had time to drop in the advance class and there were white belts there and Vitor was teaching and said he's okay with it if I were. Everyone including Vitor was extremely welcoming and humble for the most part. In the end, a blue belt sat down and showed me his signature choke and gave me something to take home for sure! Hands down a very solid gym to train in grappling in. You have highly devoted and humble practioners here constantly training and improving on their BJJ and/or Judo game. Everyone is very helpful and I found it easy to get up to speed in learning BJJ by being in this studio. As someone who has trained in multiple dojos was a no-brainer to join. If you're a competitor, then there's several people that train hours daily here so you'll easily find people to train BJJ in. The only downer is the parking. It's a really tough place to park in and you definitely have to come in earlier to make it on time. read more

I've been here for about a year now, and I have enjoyed every moment here. I really feel like I can call this place my home away from home. The students and teachers here are the real deal. They're dedicated, helpful, and friendly. The teachers here are very accommodating to new students. Unlike some schools I've seen where they just throw you into the lion's pit, the people here will try to help you out. If you have questions, someone will be willing to answer them. The philosophy here is that technique conquers all, and it really shows in their instructions. Compared to other school's I've been to, none of them have gone into the level of detail that you see here. I learn something new every class.
