Wall art & towel/glove area

Came in on a Monday, June 17th for a class with a friend. I was able to get a guest pass. The class was full! I had bag number 20F. When I walked in I waited in line & there was two workers. The girl working the computer checked me in, since the guy was helping another person. She checked me in, got my gloves, & showed me where I would be on a map. I locked up my stuff & headed into the room. The instructor greeted everyone. I found my bench & put my things down. Found my bag. Which someone ended up being on. So I asked her to go up front to check which bag she was suppose to have. The instructor started with stretching. Two more people came trying to be on the bag I was on. Some confusion. If you haven't taken a cardio boxing class before, you should do their beginners class. The instructor was quick at teaching. He did walk around a couple of times but there was some people struggling "new or lost" trying to keep up. Energy is really high & there are a lot of regulars, so you can make friends! Overall, it was a fun class & great workout. Instructor is from LBC, which I can relate as I'm from the OC. The lobby is a bit small & not much space to relax before the class starts. They have one small bench near the front counter. After class I was getting my things together & two ladies were very rude. I was at the bench organizing my stuff & they just pushed their way as if I wasn't there. Having a full on convo about her bday party & stuff she did that weekend. *Side note there was someone in the class rec. her workout. Which I didn't know they allowed recordings, so if you don't want to go be recorded maybe ask to be placed somewhere else.

My friend took me here for the first time since she knows I like trying different workout studios/gyms, and I really loved Rumble! The front desk staff was super friendly and made it easy to get situated (e.g., glove rentals, locker set up). The class itself was great! I thought there was a good balance of boxing and strength circuits, and the lights, playlist and coach were energizing/fun! I definitely got a GOOD full body workout in, and would love to incorporate this into my normal routine if I lived closer to this location.

They offer a variety of classes - strength, cycle, mat Pilates, hybrid conditioning, and more. I first tried mat Pilates with Oni on a Sunday morning. The class was held in the strength area on the first floor. It was a great workout with clear instructions. We used light dumbbells, so it was manageable. I took mat Pilates again a few days later with a different instructor. This time it was in the evening and held upstairs in the cycle room because there was a strength class going on at the same time. The vibe was so different with the lights and a smaller room. This workout was so challenging, and I was dripping sweat like crazy. After that day, I had some intense knee pain that had been building up for days, so I ended up having to cancel a cycle class and hybrid conditioning. I was really looking forward to trying those. There's also a recovery room that can be reserved, but I didn't get a chance to try it. Then my VIP week ended. I can definitely see why people like this gym. It's a one-stop shop for strength, cardio, and recovery. It's just not for me at this time.

I haven't been at Bodi since the beginning but I have been a member for over 5 years and I definitely love that place! There are multiple options of classes that incorporate strength and cardio, yoga, heated mat Pilates and boxing (now Hyrox based class and straight lifting classes). They have expanded to 3 studios to offer all those classes, which is amazing! There's always a variety of exercises to hit the main muscles groups and the accessory muscle groups. The recovery room is super convenient to use after a class or on a rest day. Variety of class times to meet a large range of schedules. They truly value their members and community and are constantly finding ways to benefit the members even more. It can always be a little intimidating trying a new gym or class but I think they do a great job at trying to make everyone feel welcome & it's generally easy to follow along if feeling lost during a workout. The coaches bring so much energy & fun to the classes as well. Bodi is very affordable in comparison to other gyms (especially if you catch one of their sales around holidays). Class pass is another great way to experience some bodi classes. Definitely worth it to try at least once!!

I also love the layout of the gym it's clean, well spaced out, and the equipment is great. My only con so far is that, in my experience, the trainers haven't been very engaged with the class or offered much guidance on form. One of the things I love most about group fitness is when instructors hype up the room & shouting out members, offering motivation, or demoing the moves alongside the class instead of just in the beginning and I haven't really seen that yet. That said, the staff are all super friendly, the gym offers so much more than just strength training (which I'm excited to explore), and the playlists are a solid 10/10. If you're in Scottsdale or just want to try a new gym I highly recommend this one!

There is a lot of competition out there, if you charge a lot, you should offer a lot more. Sometimes we have to get creative with weights if everyone in your group uses the same amount as you. The carpet is dirty. I hated doing exercises that brought me to the ground because it may get vacuumed but needs shampooing with all the feet and sweat. Grosses me out honestly. No social media presence. I do think if you advertised classes more then you'd have more interest. Advertising a word of the week felt silly rather than inspiring. The app never had the right coaches listed. Not a big deal but this was over 50% of the time where the actual coach was not the one listed. I hate the stretch routine. Why stretch my legs for 4 weeks when you do arms, core, cardio, etc. Most of the time, no one actually did what was written. I saw a lot of awful form but the stations go so fast, not really an opportunity to correct it. Depending on your group, people didn't interact with each other much so I kept to myself. I also would've liked more variety than just arms and legs, upper lower or push pull kind of rotations.
