Movers are fantastic! The crew was very professional and went out of their way to make the whole move go smoothly. I was blown away by the extra work they did to help me get the beds set up and make sure things were the way we wanted before they left. Only room for improvement here is the estimated time for the move was off by read more

Everyone I've dealt with, from owner, John, to the moving crew of Justin, Matt, and Travis have been absolute professionals. The moving crew was both efficient and careful - wrapping all the furniture and other items over and above what I would expect. We had to pick up items from a second location prior to our end destination and R&R threw the stop in at no extra cost. My wife and I were very pleased and will be recommending them to our friends and relatives in the future. Thanks, Ruff and Ready. read more

My quoted price for my move was $595. I ended up paying over $1100.BAD DEAL. Will not use this company ever again.

Again, Ruff & Ready came through for us with flying colors! John Ruff and team were involved with our SRCAR® Chili Cook off for Charity last year and again on 10/5/18. They helped transport all our equipment and materials for this banner event on the morning of and also came back the next day to help retrieve all our belongings. We feel fortunate to have Ruff and Ready as a partner in Real Estate and a resource many times throughout the year. The team is professional, friendly, responsive, careful with all they do and respectful at every turn. Thank you, John Ruff and Ruff & Ready Moving! read more

I spoke with many different moving companies before Paul came to my house for an estimate from my move to AZ. I had a wide variety of quotes and couldn't help the feeling that I was getting screwed, but I didn't feel that way with Paul. He walked through the house and took his time and didn't overcharge me. His crew was on time, introduced themselves, did a walk through and were very careful with all our property. They took care to take the big pieces of furniture apart and then back together. They were very professional and it was very appreciated!! I would highly recommend them!! read more

We had lots of heavy furniture that needed to be moved into storage and these guys were awesome from start to finish! Super fast response to my initial call and they showed up on-time and hustled the entire time while still making sure to protect all of our belongings. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again anytime I need movers! read more

I have used this company 2 times now and have loved both experiences. The movers are very professional and treated my stuff with care. I recommend them over and over when people say the need a trusted moving company. read more

This is the 3rd time I have used Ruff n Ready and I am reviewing again because they are excellent every time. Heather and Chloe got everything coordinated perfectly and are very friendly and professional. Keith and Jesse did an excellent job. The stuff was very heavy and had to be moved downstairs. They were as pleasant as can be and never complained about the heavy job. I highly recommend Ruff n Ready and will continue to recommend them. read more

The guys were professional and took care of our belongings. After using Ruff & Ready we will (if we have to move again) not move on our own again. Worth the price. read more

My wife and I hired John and his team from Ruff & Ready Moving to move from our apartment into our house. It was rather short notice, but John was very courteous on the phone and provided us with an estimate and what to expect (2 guys, not their biggest truck, approx 8 hours for a 2 bedroom apartment with a garage full of stuff) as well as advising us to box up pretty much everything, especially the little clutter, as that would take up most of the time. Done, you're hired! The next day John's guys showed up on time. Really nice guys, and they started immediately getting the stuff we had already boxed. Soon it became clear that two guys are not enough, so John sent a third guy, and all of them started hauling away, also disassembling furniture. It took them pretty much the entire day to get everything from the apartment (on the second floor) onto their truck and to our house's garage, respectively into the right rooms and setting up the furniture there. Call these guys - they're worth their money! read more

We hired Ruff and Ready Moving to move three of our commercial flower Coolers as well as all of our heavy furniture in the house and they did an absolutely amazing job! Timely, professional, and very fair pricing. I would not use anyone else! read more

What started out as Moving Day from HELL, due to our long distance moving company that we contracted with 6 weeks in advance.....BAILED on us on the day of our scheduled move. Since my husband was due to start his new employment in one week...this fiasco forced us to do some serious scrambling to find a reliable company to work with us on short notice. Paul Ruff (Co. owner) came to our home within 2 hours of my frantic phone call. He walked the house, counted packed boxes, furniture etc. He then returned an estimate to us with In 2-3 hours and made arrangements to have three of his guys at my house THE FOLLOWING morning to wrap and load moving truck. This company is beyond professional! Besides being life savers to us, we had excellent service when our belonging were delivered on time and in great shape. Special Thank you to Ty, who was part of the packing/loading team and then also drove our belongings to our new home in TX. Such a hard worker and so very pleasant! What started out as a moving nightmare was turned into an excellent moving experience. I highly recommend Ruff and Ready Moving. Thank you, Paul, for taking such good care of us!!!! read more

My client used Ruff and Ready to move from Riverside CA to Florence, Alabama. My client was singing the praises of Ruff and Ready Moving, he said they were prompt, polite and went the extra mile. Anytime my clients are happy, I'M HAPPY! I recommend Ruff and Ready to all my sellers and buyers now! read more

Just wanted to say what a great time experience we had today with Ruff & Ready Moving. Ricky, Jack and Brian worked their butts off and did an amazing job. I'd highly recommend these guys. I know that I would definitely use them again. read more

This is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with.. We originally paid $1500 to move our stuff to their storage unit and they were supposed to move it back in after a month. The movers caused hundreds of dollars of damage to our home and our belongings. We called the office immediately while the guys were still at our home and informed them of the damaged items. They said they couldn't do anything unless we paid in full. There was chunks out of our drywall by our front door, scratches in our new flooring, my dishwasher and oven were both dented, the blankets our items were wrapped in had holes in them which caused scratching on most of my large furniture, and they even broke a bed post (see pictures). John Ruff got on the phone and said if we dont pay the remaining $600 he's taking us to court. My husband went to court and brought all the pictures of the damage and John pointed out that they conveniently mark EVERY item on the inventory list as damaged with a code (scratches, dents) before they take it. So therefore he isn't responsible for ANY damage that happens during the move, but it has our signature so there is nothing we can do. I would never recommend this company to anyone! He always brags about having an A+ BBB rating, go take a look at the complaints he has on there. We went this company (even though they are priced higher than most of the companies in the area) because we thought we would get what we paid for, we were wrong! read more

I had a great experience moving with the help of Ruff & Ready Team! They gave me an estimate, were available for the time I requested with no problem and with only a week notice... they were there on time that day... took Good care of all my stuff and with a great attitude... both guys were very friendly and informed me of all the details. Once they arrive to our new house, they put everything exactly where I requested and even helped change a few things around until they were all arranged perfectly... to be honest, getting their services was the best idea... we moved in literally one day, stress free and did not have to lift a finger( unless it was to point out where I wanted the furniture ;) ) definitely recommend their services for local and long distance moving. Thank you Ruff & Ready! read more

There are literally too many complaints to list. Do yourself a big favor and don't use this company!!! So bummed we did!

Absolutely terrible! We were told all our furniture would be safely moved from our old house to our brand new house. After them arriving late to the job and were late on moving furniture so they could earn overtime, they damaged our furniture and our new walls. When confronting them, they had came up with every excuse possible. Read the full contract because if your belonging become damaged from them, they will not replace it, fix it, or give you compensation. It's sad to come in to a brand new house and it's already damaged. We worked hard for what we bought. read more

Ruff and Ready Moving did an amazing job. They moved our entire house out in 4 hours - very efficient and professional! They also do a ton of good in the community (free moving services to certain local charities). Thank you - we will definitely recommend your services to others! read more

This was our first experience with Ruff and Ready Moving and I would happily use them again. They were extremely professional, friendly, efficient, competent - from the front office to the great guys that moved us. Thank you for making such a stressful time a little easier! read more

Steve, John and Jack were awesome. Great attitudes and very hard working. They took care to ensure nothing was left open to damage. Very professional, funny and, above all, efficient! They moved everything and set everything up in about four hours! read more

Ruff and Ready moving LLC Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They get paid by the hour and will certainly milk that time to get the most out of your move. When you call to dispute the charges after their guys take several on the clock 20+ min breaks they will argue that their guys don't do that. Austin kept cutting me off as I tried to explain my experience then when I interrupted him back he very rudely said to let him talk. He told me I didn't get a contract because i provided the wrong email. I did not. I called to find the girl who took my info wrote my email wrong. I then correct the info and i still have not received a contract. They start charging you the moment the gps pings them at your address even if they don't come to your door for 15 min. Then you also pay for them to write up paperwork and count it as moving time. They will stop to get gas ( which you pay for) and still be running the clock. I was billed $1200 to move a one bedroom apartment. Yes one bedroom. Their movers took there time to the point that it took one hour to move two pieces of furniture. My son was overlooking as I was running around getting things done at my apartment. If you use this company BABYSIT them!!! They WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE AND GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND WHEN YOU ADVISE THEM ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE. I spoke to one manager and he never returned my call. I had to call back to speak with him. Shawn the first manager hesitated to give me Austin's contact info. They would not help me at all. I am a single mother who was taken advantage of by this company. I will never use them again and i certainly DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. read more

This review is in support of Jessica S. and a rebuttal to John the owner. I was the shipper for our move. I signed the papers. At no time did I request your employee to place an ad for our pool table on Facebook. The minute I discovered it was listed I called your business and spoke to Paul. At first he denied having said employee. But after I provided proof, he suddenly remembered the employee. During the move, at no time were the movers requested to remove the pool table. My husband mentioned it was for sale and he would like to get it out of the house. This does not in any way imply that the movers can advertise it. They were told that the owner would need to be negotiated with on price. My husband has called numerous times to speak to John who has been refusing to answer and has a full mailbox so we are unable to leave a message to dispute his claim. We await an apology to Jessica and an actual investigation into this attempted sale of property. read more

Just used Ruff & Ready Moving for a cross country moving job. They were so efficient with their communication and super fast service! Robert was awesome and so friendly and polite. I highly recommend this company!! John Ruff, you have a wonderful employee with Robert!! read more

We moved from Temecula to Fallbrook, and the team of movers was on time, paid great attention to detail, and completed the job early! Move process was a good experience. We would recomend the team from Ruff and Ready to handle any challenge in the future. read more

From start to finish, Ruff and Ready was a great company to work with! Paul came out immediately and gave us a quote, which was appreciated because a lot of the other companies we contacted just gave us their rates (which didn't tell us anything about how long it would likely take them). We even moved up the date and they accommodated happily! The day of the move, Logan, Jesse, and Isaiah knocked out the job and all of our things were moved problem--and worry--free. They even got done quicker than expected, lowering our final bill. A great team and we would definitely recommend Ruff and Ready Moving to anyone looking for a professional, yet personable, moving company! read more

Do not use this company for out of state moving. This was third moving company I have used and was the worse move I have had. They lost parts to a bed, bike tools, garage floor jack among other things other items were left at another house in a different state. Worse part is when they delivered our goods two weeks after packing the house they only provided 2 people with only one dolly and nothing to protect the floors in our brand new house. I told them not to take the dolly in the house which they did anyway and damaged the door frame to one of the dedI did buy the extra full coverage insurance which apparently has a $500 deductible which I was not informed about, guess I should have read the fine print. Bottom line is they might be a good local mover but they are a terrible out of state mover and should stick to doing the local moves. read more

This is the 5th time I've used Ruff and Ready, never disappointed! Thank you for going over and beyond every time.

This is a very professional outfit! Customer service is superior. Their rates are very good. The initial quote was well under expectations. We needed pick up, storage then delivery. The puck went extremely well. Luis (team leader), Alberto and David treated our belongings like it was their own. Meticulous is the perfect word to describe their prep and packing. They finished UNDER the estimate! I highly, highly recommend this company! Try to get Luis and his crew. Awesome, just awesome! read more

Ours was a two-phase move as we relocated from one house to another in Murrieta. We had Ruff and Ready move part of our belongings in the first move in April , leaving most of the furniture in the old house for staging while it was being sold. Then we did the final move out in June. The estimator came by and did a thorough inventory of what was to be moved and when. He offered good solutions to minimize costs. Each move was done by a team of three young men with a truck. First, was Keith, Jesse, and Todd. The second crew was Jesse, Adam, and Austin. Both teams were professional and extremely courteous. They wrapped our furniture and delicate items in blankets. Nothing was damaged during the moves. They arrived on time, and they completed the jobs quickly. I would highly recommend Ruff and Ready to move your valuables. read more

Ruff and Ready did an excellent job. The movers were careful, courteous and proficient. The beds, sofas and chairs were wrapped and moved with the same care as the grand piano, grandfather clock and curio cabinets. All were moved without incident. There were no scratches, breaks or damage. Daniel and Luis were particularly accommodating although all 5 movers were very impressive. I highly recommend Ruff and Ready. read more

Great experience from start to finish with our move last week from Bonsall to Fallbrook! I asked for recommendations on Facebook and this company came highly recommended. The office gave clear expectations of the process and price, and I got a confirmation the day before the move. The guys arrived early (they called first to make sure it was okay) which we appreciated, as the last moving company we used years ago was over 3 hours late. The three guys did an excellent job with all our belongings! This is the first move where we had zero damage to anything! They were polite, quiet, thorough and super nice! Highly recommend them! read more

This team is fantastic. They was polite and professional. They moved me from Ontario Ca to Adelanto Ca. They gave me a estimate of 9 hrs. They completed the job in half that time. Save me a bunch of money. I tell everyone I know who had a move planned in the future, that these are the guys to do it. The are also Vetran friendly. Thanks guys for a no stress job during a high stress transition in our lives. read more

This company has the worst mgt. NOT customer service oriented at all! One bad experience was enough! Not even smart enough to pack the electrical cord with the TV. Searched for days before having to purchase new cords. Poorly packed 2 expensive crystal lamps and broke both. Also broke a $2000 gamer computer. I saw one of the workers step high on a wall in stair well to move dresser downstairs. And yes - he left a tread mark on the painted wall! I could go on but I've told you enough. Beware!!! John and his crew have helped us with several recent moves, including moving our household from Winchester to Aguanga, moving our business locally, and most recently moving my son in to his new third floor apartment. Extremely disappointed! We only moved about 3 blocks away. They damagedduXqiz-6domzy-zuskis various pieces of furniture including my new refrigerator. I was looking for a company that was able to move some commercial equipment on extremely short notice in the event that the equipment owners didn't pick it up in time. Not only was Ruff and Ready willing to make my timeline without the guarantee of the job, but when I went by the office to see their operation, I was welcomed by the owner personally and showed the facilities. Unfortunately, the equipment was picked up by the owners as planned, but it was nice to have the comfort in knowing that Rough and Ready had me covered should the worst happen. I own my own business so this kind of personal attention and understanding is greatly appreciated. I will always call these guys anytime I need a good mover. Thanks to John and his crew for having us covered. read more
