If you have pre-teen or teen daughters, then you know Rue 21. It's a chain of stores that is equivalent to "Claire's" but, instead of focusing only on jewelry and accessories (like Claire's), Rue 21 focuses on fashion (along with accessories). I see a lot of parallels between these two stores: both are huge chains, found in malls across the country; both cater to the same, young demographic; both carry trendy wares, and super inexpensive prices; the merchandise in both, though fun and current, is usually poorly made and not really designed to last long; and, in both, stores are often in a semi-state of disarray and it's hard to find a salesperson to help you out,.
If you know what to expect going in, you won't be disappointed. And, yes, there are lots of cool treasures to find here! T-shirts, flip-flops, belts, cell phone cases and chargers, maxi skirts, undies, hats, fun socks.... You name it, it's here.
