My issue is that throughout the store they kept sending employees to see what I was doing , never asked if I needed help. I had 4 boxes with men's shoes throughout the store , once I'm in line a BIG HUGE overbearing "guy" says he needed to take my boxes , mind you I'm ready to pay , he doesn't wait for me to hand them over he takes them from me , I look over to the (I'm assuming manager ? ) with a look like are you serious right now? She says "oh they're to heavy for you to carry" so I said ok , when I'm exiting the door ONCE I PAID FOR MY ITEMS OF COURSE , I asked that HUGE MAN who had 5 mins ago was so concerned about my well being to help me take the "heavy boxes " to my car. He said he couldn't? Sooooo basically they were profiling me because I'm a African American/ Hispanic woman with tattoos , I do not remember feeling this way at any other time at any WSS , I strongly suggest to train the employees better to serve the customers needs and not assume that every black / Hispanic person is there to steal. By the way there was A long line of white / light skinned customers behind me with tons of items , never saw any of the employees Approach them to ask them for help with their "heavy items" Everyone at this store looks like they need to get in shape to. They all look like they're having a food coma! Sleepy , standing all around each other talking about who knows what and only looking at certain customers with certain looks. I will not come to this store again and I hope that you will think twice to come here. I'm even thinking of returning my stuff for a refund. This really made my day unpleasant. I then called the day prior to confirm again they still had the boots. They had sold one of the pairs. I was driving cross country with my Brother in Law and had stopped in to this store many years ago when I was in the Marines and picked up two beautiful pairs of boots. This is my reason for venturing back to this location. I purchased five beautiful exotic cowboy boots and couldn't be happier as I have been planning on coming back to this store since 2016. John and a helper in the store were extremely helpful and I could not be more elated with my purchases and experience.

My son's school recommended that I come here for his PE and uniform shirts. I only buy his PE…read moreshirts here. The polo shirts for his uniform are less expensive at other stores. However, I can't find the PE shirts anywhere else. For that reason, I've been coming to Sports World for a couple of years now. I think it's a local business. If it is, that's great! Each shirt I bought was $10.95 plus tax. The shirts include the mascot/logo from my son's school. Whatever happened to wearing any old shirt for PE? It's a small place but they got the job done quickly. I told them exactly what he needed and the rest was history. I was out of the store in about five minutes. Sports World specializes in embroidery and logos on shirts, caps, etc. They also have several other options on their website. I'm sure I'll be back whenever my son needs something for school. I might consider getting a cardigan for myself. I love those things!

I excitedly came to buy some boots with my sister. I tried them on, and I only wore them for less…read morethan five minutes. Instantly, my mood was ruined when an employee rushed over to tell me I needed to take the boots off if I wasn't going to buy them. Her tone and demeanor came off as unnecessarily rude, made me feel unwelcome. Her attitude talked me out of it. Congratulations, I guess. She's the employee with a mole around her mouth you'll definitely know who I'm talking about. Honestly, I would've happily bought the boots, but her mean girl vibe was such a turn off. It's sad when one employee can ruin the entire shopping experience. If she's that miserable at her job, maybe retail isn't for her. Hope she finds something that brings her joy.
