These guys have been great. I've gone a few times to get patches for tires and recently changed out 4 tires for an extremely good price. I keep coming back and will continue to come back. I've been trying to do some work on my car myself, just to save some money but even doing my own brakes wouldn't really save me much, considering what these guys are willing to do it for. I had great experience at Rudy's. They are honest and they do not over sell the client. I came in for two tires due to a flat and the service person recommended a name brand I've never heard of before. The price was right and my car was not new so I agreed to the brand. I asked him if it will give me a quiet ride and he said that it's comparable to the old ones (michellin) I have. Sure enough the ride was quiet and for the price, I scored. I asked for a front end alignment as well and Javier did the work. He is very professional and he was meticulous with his craft. This review is long overdue. These gentlemen deserve 10 stars! They saved our family vacation after we ran into a cinder block on 110 FWY, they were able to get us the exact same Tesla OE tire in minutes. Now we just picked up a screw in a different car and we didn't hesitate to drive across the valley to Rudy's tires right away because they are super quick, resonably priced, polite and crazy efficient! I went there for a nail in my tire on a Friday after trying 4 other places that were "too busy." The other places didn't look busy at all but this place did. Although they were packed, within a few minutes I was approached by a young man who politely told me they could get to me in about 20 to 25 minutes. After about 15 minutes they were working on my truck, 5 minutes later I was done. The bigger tire places are understaffed with very lazy employees. Basically I called a few different spots trying to get a quote on a tire (size 225-40-19) and 2 places didn't have it and another 3 were charging me 95$ to 105. Cesar answered the phone told me he has a better brand (farrelli ) v chinese made xyz company. I'm disabled but I try not to show it. I've used Rudy's for over TEN years and have always been happy with his service. But today was the worst possible. I had purchased 2 new tires on the Internet and had Javier mount them for me. Monday one of the tires had a separation and was still under warranty from the seller. They asked me to provide pictures of the tire and a description of the problem from a "Tire Shop" on their letterhead so I could get a free replacement. I brought the letter to Javier and asked if he could take the tire off the rim and put on the original tire and write up a short explanation of what went wrong with the tire, he said yes and the cost was $15 for the removal and $15 for the installation. When I came back for the tire AND LETTER, Javier said "We won't write a letter because we don't want to get involved with this. You can write a letter yourself and use the name of a fake tire shop." I explained that I wouldn't do that as it would be a lie. I paid him the $15 and left. I had made sure he read the letter from the seller and he agreed to do what was asked for. Now when I get the new tire, I'll have to pay another company to put it on. I can no longer recommend Rudy's tire in Tujunga. read more

I can't say enough about how much I love this tire shop! I was driving in Sunland maybe 6 years ago now and got a flat while I was out this way for a computer repair. They fixed me up so fast with a used tire that was in awesome shape! My Jeep has been sitting for quite some time now and I noticed my rear drivers side tire being low, then noticed that there is a nail in the tire. So I drove it down to Rudy's. I was hoping they could patch it up and they totally took care of it without any problems. The gentleman helping me out took care of that tire, and checked all the other tires while I was there. They were all low and he notified me that tires can lose pressure if the car sits. I told him that my Jeep is my fun, weekend, back up, whatever car and since it's been cold, I haven't really been driving it. He filled up the tires properly, even the spare in the back, and I was good to go. Rudy's is a good tire shop to go to for whatever wheel, tire, brake, etc needs you may have. Caesar is my man that takes care of me at the tire place. I've always gotten Service of always gotten great prices but one thing I want to point out is this.... A lot of people forget that trades people, crafts men are very inportant , when they do their job well it makes all the difference in the world. Caesar knows how to mount a tire and a balanced set and deal with good rims. The only scars I have on my rims are from the previous owner & wherever they got their tires & using the balancing weights on the outside of the rim. Getting a flat tire in Los Angeles sucks... but in the rain? Fugetboutit! Found 2 screws wedged in my rear tire - oh what fun! Tried to get it patched and to my surprise most gas stations only use plugs. Found out no one around where I was stranded used patches. Weird right? Lucky for me Caesar & Javier at Rudy's were ready to help. No muss no fuss little tire shop that gets the job done. And with tire patches! FYI - patches do a better job & last a lot longer.
