TERRIBLE! I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY REPAIR…read more
1. They will overcharge you for used parts invoiced as "NEW"
Always double check the parts on your invoices and ask them
for the part numbers! If you see them back stepping, it's not good.
I found a $1,000 front drive shaft that didn't show up on any vendors
website. When I called them out on it, he said he would have to call
me back "Because their INTERNET GOT VERY, VERY SLOW"
Once I spotted this, Their entire credibility went down the pipes.
2. Convenience Mechanics, what's good for their pocket, NOT YOU!
They will pick & choose jobs based on what's easy for them.
And even if you give them the job based on good faith. They'll still
find a way to screw it up. I didn't need an oil change or air filter.
I told them to focus on the rear main seal.
3. Failure to perform a basic "Oil change"
My truck sat in their lot FOR OVER A MONTH! & when I picked it up.
IT HAD NO OIL & THE OIL FILTER LOOKED OLD & USED!
When I checked the invoice for the filter. It was the wrong brand.
And then he asked me "What type of filter it was on"
How disappointing.
4. Mishandling Parts on "Basic Connectors & Switches."
I found a broken clip to the mass airflow sensor, something that
you have to be-careful when removing it but their work ethic was
brash, forgetful & clumsy.
5. Failure to Communicate effectively & verify working Jobs.
Initially I called & texted to confirm the transmission job
seal replacement was included in the price. And they said
Oh yeah, don't worry about it that's already included in the price.
ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT IT NEVER WAS! COME ON MAN!
A $4,400 Job & they treated it like an after thought.
6. Lazy & Incompetent Mechanics.
7. SAFETY INSPECTION FAILURE.
Before I rolled out their lot I asked them "Is the vehicle safe on the
Road?" "Oh Yes! Everything was checked & inspected for safety"
BULLSHIT! When I went to verify if everything was bolted &
secure. I noticed the inspection cover to the transmission was
missing. Leaving the inner transmission exposed. You could cause
an explosion from the middle of the truck breaking it in half.
And if your traveling at a high rate of speed, forget about it
cause it's over! All for the negligence of their so called...."Inspection"
When I asked them about it, they denied it. So I had to point it out again on their invoice until they finally admitted to it. He called it a minor forgetful incident. I said "For who? How about if it was your car,
I asked him? Would you accept that service? No, he said,
"I would not accept that service."
Finally an Honest Answer I thought.
In the end they took some accountability for their bad service and even bought me a new cover to the transmission. However, I still had to put it on myself cause they lost my respect.
I managed to receive a partial refund from them, but I got the sense they were more angry than sorry. The vibes don't lie.
The only reason why I got any money back was because I threatened to expose them. I had the Better Business Bureau, The Cities Safety Commission, The Bar for Auto Mechanics, I had everyone lined up on a list ready to roll and it was gonna be a huge negligence and endangerment shut down! I had the sheriffs office already in mind
and everything. The threat was real.
So once they took a serious look at their exposure they backed up and said "Alright buddy we'll give you back some money but...
Please don't shut us down.."
However I am a man of my word and I still have to put you on blast for your horrendous business practices.
