Isaac went through numerous options with my wife and I on tires that met our needs. He gave his professional opinion to include options to save us money. isaac was very patient with us and set us up for an appointment that Friday. I was traveling east on interstate 8 near Yuma and realized I had a bad tire on my large trailer. Realizing I couldn't continue my trip I called discount tire about an hour before they were closing. Miguel answered the phone and quickly calmed me down from my flat tire excitement and assured me that they would take care of me. When I arrived the manager Nelson greeted me and guided me expertly into their lot knowing exactly what we needed to do with the big trailer. Then it was like a Indy 500 pitstop the trailer was jacked up tires were quickly changed in no time. Nelson even suggested that I should have a spare which I purchased from them. March of 2023 I called to have my 2013 Hyundai Elantra checked out. Car was idling Rough I asked for a diagnostic test. Found out the test was not done, paid for work and parts the mechanic later says he didn't recommend. I returned about a week later because the car was still idling rough and the AC wasn't cooling properly. My friend went with me and complained that, why was the car still idling rough after the last guy had sold me a tune up saying that was the problem with why it was idling rough to begin with. Also sold me four new tires; I'm not sure I even needed since I didn't know to ask to see the old ones first. 1,500.00 dollars and change later and the car still was idling rough. 2nd time in the shop I'm told the diagnostic was never run, and that the salesman had a habit of telling people they needed things done that they did not need to be done. This was said by the second sales person, and he reported to us that the mechanic had said that this first guy does this all the time. Needless to say I do not recommend this location for any type of service. I'm a retired widow living on a fixed income and this business took advantage of my ignorance when it comes to vehicle repairs, I trusted them to be honest, and they were not. read more

I was there 7:58am, they open at 8am, no other vehicles in lot or shop. Just for an oil change and if they had time, check my fan belt. The guy said 30-45 minutes, I came back after an hour, my truck had not moved and bays were full. When I came in, I asked If oil change was done, and the guy said he'ld check, NO, they were just going to pull it in? RYKM? I told them, NO, I'm not going do it now. The assistant manager was going to give me an estimate for a timing belt change. I wanted yo give them my business, but not now. I went to Walmart. Talked to Asst Manager after, he wanted to make it right, but if I can't trust them to do just an Oul Change, I will not let them work on my truck. So..we were about to leave San Diego, and my wifes tire pressure indicator light came on. Back passenger side tire was low on air. We filled it up, and were on our way. About half way home (30 miles outside Yuma), the tire pressure indicator light came on again. I pulled over to the side of the road to investigate. Turns out that we had a nail/metal spike in her tire! It was slowly leaking air but not making the tire flat, hence why we were able to drive from San Diego to almost Yuma with no issues, but still, we knew we needed to get it looked at asap. This is where Discount Tire comes into play. My wife bought a set of tires from them a few months back, and they offer free patch kits, tire rotations etc. We got to Yuma at about 3:30 in the afternoon on Saturday, walked right in, explained the situation and were helped right away. Total time in the shop was only about 30 minutes or so. They took our car into the bay, fixed our tire and we were on our way. About that....... we stopped to get some food in Yuma, and then my wife got a call. They forgot to give us back our wheel lock key set! Thank goodness we were still in Yuma and not 30 miles down the 8! Anyways...it was much appreciated that they did call us and let us know they still had the tire keys. We swung back by, were greeted at the door with the keys in hand, and were on our way back to Surprise. Great service all around! Definitely a 5 star experience! Hopefully won't ever have to come back here again, but if I ever did, or if I lived in Yuma, I would definitely get my tires from these guys. Everything about our short visit was great! read more
