As a woman you get used to auto repair taking advantage. Well he immediately said Advanced Truck and Auto Repair! So away we went in the tow truck but first stop was the Interstate Battery because I was convinced it was my battery. Well even the interstate battery guys said to go to advanced truck and auto repair so off we went. At this point it was obvious I needed a new alternator. I just knew that was a $1200 bill I did not need. And would probably be a hotel room for an overnight stay. It was 4pm and no one was going to fix it in an hour! Right? I arrived feeling defeated but another woman was sitting there and we started talking and she said no worries they will take care of you. It's the only place she trusted. In fact her son just drove two hours so he could have them tune up his car. Let's just say believe it or not was out of there in 30 mins with a rebuilt alternator for under $300!!! I may have to drive the 2 hours to have them do my future services.

I wasn't charged more. I thought they should have put the nut on the bolt that holds the transmission from falling and hitting the ground. They put the bolt on. Not the nut. It slipped. It didn't fall out. The bolt held it. Had someone jack up the transmission to take weight off bolt and adjust the bolt and put on the nut. I also would have liked them to put the engine cover back on over the engine. They didn't. They put the cushion back over the engine, but the engine cover was on the floor. Overall, I recommend them, and would hire them again.

Outstanding Service & 5-Star Experience…read more We recently had an unexpected transmission issue while traveling back to San Diego after dropping our son off at ASU. After spending nearly an entire day pulled over on the side of the road and trying to figure out what to do, we eventually had our vehicle towed to Ramco and stayed overnight at a hotel. We truly couldn't have ended up at a better place. From the very beginning, Ramco was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly fair. They took the time to explain everything to us, were completely transparent about our options, and never made us feel pressured or like they were taking advantage of a stressful situation. Because we were traveling and dealing with an unexpected vehicle problem, I wanted to make sure we were getting the right information. I reached out to my brother-in-law, who works for San Diego Police Department (SDPD) and is responsible for the mechanical work on their vehicles. I explained everything Ramco had told us, and he gave me the exact same explanation and diagnosis. That gave me a tremendous amount of confidence and reassured me that Ramco was being completely honest with us and that we were not being taken advantage of. Their expertise and honesty gave us peace of mind, and most importantly, they helped get us safely back on the road so we could make it home to San Diego. I only wish Ramco were located in San Diego because I would absolutely continue using them and recommend them to everyone I know. If we are ever in the area and need automotive service again, Ramco will definitely be our first call. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would!

From the beginning I was impressed by Jesus, the Service Advisor and found him to be very helpful during the fairly long repair process. After the repair process, I returned the following week for an oil change and I do need to give feedback regarding the oil change price. For over 30 years, I have had my synthetic oil changes done at Jiffy Lube and the price was $80 for many years. I checked today and the price is still $80. I paid $167 for the oil change done at AZ Auto Clinic and felt that was far too high. Other than the oil change price, I am pleased with everything at AZ Auto Clinic and will continue to take my Nissans there for repairs.
