In addition, it was installed with unskilled workers. Homeowners have had numerous problems including water leakage and water intruding into their homes. Finally, I cannot tell you of the mess Capital left behind even after being called back several times to pick up their trash. I personally went and picked up lots of their roofing materials including, cooper flashing that could have cut someone's kids or pets, shingles, lots of nails, snow guards, cardboard for materials and skylight boxes, Styrofoam, water bottles, food wrappers, and other debris and trash. Capital Roofing is a prime example of why some companies in the roofing industry have a bad reputation for doing poor quality work. Their senior management does not timely follow-up and has lots of excuses and fails to do the right thing. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

Warranty worthless since he won't come back to fix anything. I hired Tom Roybal from Columbine Hardscapes to replace some sod with stones, raise a retaining wall, put in a French drain, and create a paved walkway. Tom provided the lowest price of all landscapers I spoke to. During the demolition phase of the project when he was removing old sod to lay pavers, Tom did not remove any sprinkler heads first. He destroyed several of them that he then promised to replace, but he never brought any new head back. When I pointed out that he was breaking my sprinkler heads, Tom texted that he won't continue the work until I have removed all the heads myself if I care about them so much. I went ahead and removed the sprinklers since Tom was half way through the job. Tom then ended up packing all my sprinkler heads and taking them away with him when the job was finished. It took him three months to bring them back despite multiple promises to get them back quickly. Tom also broke two fence pickets during grass removal, which he did replace. He also punctured my only 100 ft hose with some carelessly dropped equipment. He did replace the hose. I noticed that some retaining wall caps were not glued in place several months after the work was done. It took Tom several weeks to come out to glue them in place with a few cancellations and reschedules. When he finally came, he promised to come around 11am. He finally showed up at 7pm. A few days later some of the pavers on the walkway that he promised "will never come out" came off. I messaged Tom to come back to re-glue them. Tom said he will come on Tuesday and will also send me warranty paperwork and plans for the French drain he installed since he never left any paperwork when he finished the job. He never showed nor sent me anything. When I messaged him about it on Wednesday, he said he will come on Saturday. He never showed or contacted me to reschedule. When I messaged him on Saturday afternoon, Tom replied that he was working on another customer's fence and won't be coming. He promised to come on Monday. He never came. He has stopped responding to my text messages in the intervening week. I advise not hiring Tom Roybal and Columbine Hardscapes because of poor workmanship and utter unprofessionalism.

Along the way I was introduced to a professional and skilled team of workers that created beauty and craftsmanship in everything they touched. Even when I decided the initial plan needed some additions, or changes, or I just simply changed my mind, never once did they say they couldn't achieve the outcome I was looking for. All they ever said was "Yes, absolutely, we can do that". It was almost a surreal experience working with a contractor that not only kept their word, their schedule, and their price point (except for the design changes which were 100% on me), this contractor went BEYOND the ordinary and into the EXTRAORDINARY throughout the entire project. Most of us are used to a contractor that just wants to finish the project and move on, RMOL truly cared about creating an outdoor living space that our family would truly love to "live" in. Our project consisted of transforming a 20,000 sq foot backyard of overgrown trees, dying grass and misshapen and unkept hills (all from a previous owner), into a 20x40 shotcrete swimming pool, a 9x9 spa with a sheet waterfall, a 4 foot circular fire pit with a rounded seating area, a raised pavilion for an outdoor kitchen, a grass soccer pitch and a waterproofed and finished underdeck for the 700 sq foot deck above. Not to mention hundreds of sq feet of pavers, dozens of feet of multi-tiered retaining walls and capped off with dozens of new trees, shrubs and outdoor lighting that came together into a backyard oasis of our dreams. Dylan Friedman, the salesperson, was good…read morewith updating us on the progress of getting insurance approval for the job as well as letting us know when the replacement of our roof would take place. As far as we know so far, the quality of the work was fine. However, workers broke two of our paver tiles when tossing the old roofing materials off the roof onto the ground. Dylan assured us he would replace the tiles. Weeks went by without him offering suitable options, then months. Frustrated with this lack of progress, I offered to help look for paver tiles, which Dylan took for an excuse to continue to sit back and do nothing. Up until this point, I gave Dylan deposit checks on the spot and made online progress payments immediately when requested. I decided to withhold additional payments until the broken paver tiles were replaced, however, thinking the unpaid amount would encourage the company to finally finish the job. Instead of motivating Accurate America to complete the project, though, they instead sent emails threatening to turn us over to collections. I stated our position that the job wasn't done given the failure of Dylan to replace the tiles; that I would be more than happy, even eager, to send them the final payment when that occurred. Fast forward another month with no tile replacement. Now Dylan threatens to file a lien against our home unless the invoice - less $500 for the tiles, which he finally admits he has no intention of replacing - is paid. I'm no lawyer, but this feels an awful lot like extortion to me. So the end result: Accurate America got their money. We got stuck with replacing the paver tiles Accurate America broke and never replaced. And Accurate America gets this lovely review and a complaint to our insurance company for their unparalleled customer service and follow-through.
