Ideal location for a bite to eat when traveling out of Philly airport. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff and seated quickly. Our server, Margar (perhaps Margaret) was beyond phenomenal. Extremely tentative, friendly and quick with drink refills and food service. Salad bar was fresh and plentiful and overall all of our food was great. I was utterly shocked at how bad our service was. This is no reflection on the chain, or the food, or this location but we had a waiter who was shockingly awful. We waited so long for mayo the burger until it got cold, and my glass of water dry to the bone, as I watched him refill our neighboring tables drinks before they could even get empty. Wait staff are constantly on their phones while working. Bartender actually keeps his earbuds in and on his phone while standing behind the bar. He does not remove earbuds while taking my order. No customer service and a dirty bar area. Plates stacked up. I have a picture of this but will not post since I'm not sure if I will open myself up to legal action. I will gladly share with Corporate if they ever call me back. When I mentioned to him he sucked his teeth and turned his head away from me with disrespect. I spoke to management and told them I would not be returning. He said "OK". The disrespect shown is what got me angry. Also, I wonder if there is a health code violation. This behavior starts at the top. This was the 2nd Visit in 2 months that I witnessed the same behaviors. read more

It is your typical Ruby Tuesday, but the serivice was spot on and our waitress was amazing. The salad bar was clean and well stocked and the entrees we ordered to go to have for lunch the next day held up great and tasted just as good the next day as if we had just ordered them. read more

My experience was made great due to our server Lamont! What a personality!! Lamont was a great server and accommodated our table of nine. He was so helpful and attentive whether it was bringing refills to drinks or extra napkins to the table. He did not rush us out at all, although it was late by the time we finished dessert. One star is perfectly fine for this place and it seems that way from the other reviews. Starving, no places really around the area and it was close. That's the ONLY reason we went here. Two white people at a table got two biscuits. But the black couple at a table of two got 8 biscuits. Service is poor. Speed is poor. Quality is poor. Ordered food, came out overdone. Burger well instead of medium. They actually brought the wrong food the first TWO times! Then once they found the right food, the delivered and no other stop bys till the check. No refills. The food was ok but the service was slow, really slow. 20 minute wait for a bowl of soup and it was warm (and that is generous). Meal came out the correct temperature. Very slow service! Food was good once it got there. Place seems busy but with such poor service i doubt many are repeat visitors. I however fell into the repeat trap. Its really the only option close to several hotels. The second visit was exactly like the first. Staff arguing and slow service. Food and drinks were good when they arrived however. It's not as if I was expecting fine cuisine - just trying to find something edible while stuck overnight after a cancelled flight - but this place must be among the worst restaurants I've ever visited. First they got my order wrong (how hard is it to remember I don't want chicken on my quesadilla?), then they brought me something covered with old, brown avocado. I am in here at least 2-3 times a month during the summer for work and last night I was in, I always sit at the bar, the two ladies working seemed to be more interested in their phone and doing a quiz with each other than waiting on their customers! I sat down and it took 10 mins before I was asked if I wanted a drink, the same was with the rest of the patrons. I ordered an app and when I wanted another glass of wine I had to wave one of the bar person for another glass ( 8.99 )I ordered a burger to go, while I was finishing my wine after getting my to go salad I noticed a TOGO bag sitting on the beer cooler, I asked the slim girl with reddish hair if that was my Togo order, which sat there for at least 10 mins, and she said" I did not know you ordered something to go"! Really? By the time I got back to my hotel , Hampton Inn, my food was ice cold and I asked the burger be Medium and it was well done! This was the worst Ruby Tuesday that I have eaten at. We got the rib sampler with shrimp chicken and ribs. The shrimp was cold, the chicken strips were as tough as shoe leather but the ribs were tasty. I told the manager and she replaced my order with the salad bar and charged me full price for the salad bar. Most of my guest meals were also cold but they did not want to complain. Drinks can be mixed well one minute and have the same melted ice woth no straw stick the next. Dont ask for anything special with your food, its too difficult for them. There you have it. read more

I work at the airport so one day I decided to get takeout from here. I called in my order at 6:45. The waitress who took my order said it would be twenty minutes. I arrived at 7:30pm on my lunch break. When I arrived the manager asked my name and I told her I was here for takeout. She replied oh give me a few minutes. I did not receive my food for another fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, the manager and the host ran back and forth from the kitchen trying to figure who's takeout order was who with me and someone else who was waiting. I just really have a problem with spending 15 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break waiting for food that I called 45 min ago for. The takeout part of it is just very organized. read more

Food was as you would expect at Ruby Tuesday. Salad bar offerings could have been a lot fresher. As a party of one, the waitress started off by asking if I'd like a "shareable" appetizer. Umm...share with whom? I ordered a glass of wine, and not wanting to spend a lot on any of the wines (very blah wine list - bargain supermarket wines way overpriced of course), I chose one of the cheapest ones, for $5.99. I get the bill and the glass is listed as $7.99. The waitress then points out they offer two sizes for glasses of wine. What???? Who does that? I've never come across this in any other restaurant. And at least when you order a beer that might come in two sizes, they ask which size you'd like. So she automatically gave me the larger, more expensive glass, which I never would have ordered had I realized there was this option. It's not clear at all on the menu and I think it's kind of tacky and gimmicky. So partly that's the fault of the waitress (for not asking me in the first place which size I'd like - because really - when have you ever had two sizes to choose from at a restaurant???) and Ruby Tuesday for just being....tacky and perhaps for trying to get money from unsuspecting customers. I don't like these kinds of chain restaurants anyway, and I'll certainly avoid them more in the future after this. read more

I can see what the other reviews are talking - this restaurant has some setup and execution issues. Got a meal at the bar - the bar staff was friendly but always were asking about food and having to leave to go get it. What about helping each out and bring the food out. They left a side off of my dinner. Food tasted okay. But it was close and convenient - so good enough. read more

My expectations are not that high when going to a chain like this near an airport in a major city. Don't smell like a dirty lake, don't be too cold, don't have a salad bar full of spoiled mushrooms that is still brimming full of product at closing time (think about it), don't have indifferent service that is slower than a mud river, don't have gummy mashed potatoes that were probably cooked last week, and don't fail at basically everything you are trying to do. Let's say, it's close to the hotel. I ordered a ny strip medium with the baked mac n cheese and some sweet potato fries. The steak was more cooked on one side than the other and served on a plate with grease bubbles floating in some thin brown liquid. It looked disgusting. Check the picture out. The mac an cheese was mostly some indescribable kind of yellow cheese with in melted cheese on top of it. The bottom was wam and the cheese on top was not even melted. The only good thing on the plate was the sweet potato fries, yet sadly they were swimming in the brown liquid with grease bubbles in it (see pictures) avoid this place if you like good food. The staff was friendly enough and the manager took the inedible meal off my tab. The food should have been okay if served to a dog. I feel bad for the cow that had to give its life up only to be destroyed by an unknowledgeable cook. read more

Friday evening 7/12 around 9pm. My first time at this restaurant was the worst I ordered the salmon and I got the tilapia so that had to go back then my son ordered the pasta with shrimp it had a hair in it so we sent it back they came back with chicken and pasta which was not what we wanted so when they finally brought back what we thought was a new plate of shrimp and pasta that also had a hair in it and I believe that that was the same plate of pasta that he was originally given with the same piece of hair. I was disgusted I will never return and the manager just seemed very nonchalant as if he didn't care at all. I really liked our server and I know it wasn't her fault but I will never ever return to this restaurant again. Wish I would have picked a better restaurant while visiting Philly. read more

The food seemed ok. The service is terribly slow, and the waiter just keeps forgetting to do his job.

Oh Ruby Tuesdays, you never fail to disappoint when a girl wants to hit up the salad bar. I visited this location with a group of six. The waiter was very accommodating to our desire to sit and chat, as well as with our need of separate checks. The food was good, the service friendly and the beer cold. It's also one of the very, very few restaurants near the airport, so if you don't want to pay too much for a crappy burger at the Sheraton Suites, it's a great option. read more

For us, this place wasn't nearly as bad as the reviews made it sound. We were staying in the hotel next door. Although it was crowded when we got there, we were seated quickly. The service was polite and prompt. They had some good kids meals selections and the standard Ruby Tuesday fare. I'm not one to get too bothered by a restaurant but this experience just wasn't good. It started off with walking in, to what looked like 2-3 hostesses and a server, may have been 2 and 2. Why 4 people were congregating there, I don't know (yes I know this is being nit picky but nothing went right this entire dining experience) one made eye contact with us right away, seemed to have a slight attitude in her look and the silence started. That awkward silence where apparently it was difficult to do your job and greet us. Finally another girl standing there greets us, stumbled over her words and then both girls start laughing and giggling like they were in middle school talking about boys. Stumbling over your words is fine, but this isn't a middle school sleep over. We get seated. Server takes forever to greet us, however he was very pleasant and did recognize the fact that we had been there for awhile. Gets the drinks and takes our food order. I haven't been to a ruby Tuesday's in years but the salad bar seems a lot smaller and lacking. I sat at the table for several minutes with out silverware. We also ordered an app, that never gets put in and our main meal gets delivered while I'm in the bathroom that smells like a piss saturated subway station. My boyfriend ordered the bacon cheese burger. Server, very apologetically tells my boyfriend that our app was missed and if we want to cancel it. My boyfriend asked to wait a second till I returned to the table. I Come back and begin to eat, We were half way done eating our meal before the server returned to see if we will still wanted the app... Really pointless now so we cancelled it. My boyfriends burger was also well done, not medium but at this point in the evening that is a minor problem. More disappointing was the non existence of bacon on the bacon cheese burger. Oddly enough, I think we were only charged for a regular cheese burger so we didn't bother saying anything. ($10 something) Just disappointing. Any of these concerns individually is not a deal breaker but the only positive things I can say about this place is that whenever we saw our server, he was nice, did recognize his mistakes and was apologetic, and the salad bar area was spotless. read more

If you have to stay in this area {this is the ONLY place to eat for about a mile or more), lower your expectations, check the ridiculous calories of most items, and try to put up with a very crowded restaurant with service that is inattentive due to how busy it is. read more
