If you've stayed at as many Marriotts as I have, you recognize that this hotel restaurant has a Marriott Vibe and this hotel restaurant lives up to this statement. When I arrived and checked in at the hotel, I was exhausted and in need of sleep. So I ordered my food to go and since I was in Philly, I ordered the cheese steak. The sandwich itself was good but the fries were AMAZING. Employees were nice and I would say this hotel restaurant is better than most.
Really good for a Marriott. Fully stocked bar (even had Fernet, IYKYK). Ordered the cheesesteak, because, when in Rome, and it was surprisingly good. Bartender was a bit of a dud but otherwise a good experience overall.

This is the hotel's restaurant. Since the hotel is at the airport, it's slim pickings when it comes to food options. You basically have the Aviation Grill. I did see a hot dog stand at the baggage claim area. But that was it. So this is pretty much it. They serve lunch and dinner. You can dine in, pick up or have it delivered to your room. They have a full bar with TV screens so you can watch sports. They have a nice selection of craft beers, for those who like craft beer. We placed an order for room service. From what I understood, the kids menu was not available for room service. Odd, but whatever... had to pick it up. Didn't take too long. They called when it was ready to pick up. We got the bourbon bbq wings, aviation burger with fries for my wife, cheese steak with side salad for me, kids burger with fries for my son, and carrot cake for dessert. I also got a Dogfish Head 90min IPA. The wings were spot on. Great flavor. The burgers were also good, as was the carrot cake. The miss was my cheese steak. I wasn't expecting it to be excellent but I was hoping it would be better. It was just average. The pickle that came with the sandwich was excellent, though. Had a nice crunch to it. At the end of the day, the meal was satisfying. If I find myself back at the Airport Marriott, I wouldn't mind eating here again, just not the reorder the cheese steak.

This restaurant was only a few minutes walk via skybridges for a comfortable and tasty experience. Multiple staff members were really nice. Definitely expect airport/hotel prices. I am a lighter eater and was very full after eating about 3/4 of my breakfast sandwich meal. The restaurant has modern decor with exposed bulbs, many comfy booths, and warm wood tables. The hotel lobby area appeared welcoming and clean (much more clean and less smelly than PHL).
My family and I went here after the Army Navy game. We were starving and everywhere was packed, so we were thankful that this restaurant had no wait! I got the salmon BLT and it was SO GOOD. Maybe I was starving, maybe it was the best salmon sandwich I've ever had, but all I know was that it hit the spot. The side caesar was also really good- not too heavy on the dressing!!
Flew into Philadelphia airport and was so happy not to go outside (cold) and stayed at the Marriott (connected to the airport). The hotel is dated but the restaurant is not. I will state the service was excellent, especially Bonnie. I asked Bonnie what she would recommend and it was the Philly Cheesesteak (see attached picture). The picture in the lighted menu doesn't say, choose me. The picture I attached, does! Plenty of choices for beverages, with lunch or dinner. I stayed at the Marriott for two nights and each night I had the Philly Cheesesteaks and not at all disappointed.
I really can't comment on the food. But I will say that we had a couple of drinks at the bar and the bartender was hands-down. One of the better ones. I've come across at a hotel. Great poor great style. Expensive drinks but that's exactly what you expect at a hotel bar so enjoy.
Great food. I loved the bourbon bbq wings and the carrot cake. They were my favorite. The aviation burger was also very good. We ordered pickup so we could eat in our room. They didn't provide us any ketchup, mustard, or mayo. I ended up dipping the top bun of the burger in the bourbon bbq sauce.
It's hard to judge this as an independent restaraunt as it's basically your one choice if you are staying at the airport and don't want to venture far. The staff is friendly and helpful with choices. Our waiter recommended the Cajun chicken pasta dish, which had very tender chicken and a decent sauce. I would add more spinach, but I like veggies. I had the salad topped with salmon. Nice flavors. Great pours on the draft beer and they do have a few locals on tap. I found the temperature chilly, so bring a jacket.

We were skeptical about eating here due to the low ratings but at the same time we were kind of trapped at the hotel. Food: it was definitely not bad. It is a normal food you would get at a hotel restaurant. Burger was cooked properly and the cheesesteak was decent. Service: slow but only one person working to serve multiple. He did a great job based on the resources management gave to him. Ambiance: quiet, nice setting, our booth table had a TV as well. Don't read into the reviews. Just come and enjoy! read more

I came here while staying at the airport Marriott which makes sense because this is the restaurant attached to the motel. First, it was very busy. There were no bar seats available and when eating by myself I would much rather sit at the bar so that was my first disappointment. My second was I had to wait an extended period of time for a table for 1. The hostess was just slow. Once I sat down, the service was fast, and I have no complaints there. I ordered a NY Strip and there is nothing to say besides it was ordinary. It seemed to be totally unspiced and simply bland. I ordered it rare which it was. However, I like the outside to be much warmer than this steak was. I know it is a hotel restaurant, and that is what you get. I also had a garden salad which was good. I have no complaints with regard to the salad. They had blu cheese which was not on the menu but they had it. I prefer really chunky blu cheese but they had creamy. I guess that is just a preference though. The bottom line is this is an ok place to eat. The issue is that it should be much better at this price point. I will probably eat here again if I ever stay at the Philly airport Marriott again, but the best I can say is it is a serviceable restaurant. read more

Aviation grill is the restaurant lounge for the Airport Marriott. As a bar, they have a limited draught beer selection, decent wine selection and limited spirits. But you won't be dry. The menu has six entrees, a bunch of apps, and a few salads and sandwiches. The wings I had were very good, crisp with garlic and herb. The Korean short rib buns were a definite miss. The beef was well seasoned and the Korean gochujan sauce was adequate but, the light puffy bun was replaced by a deep fried piece unidentifiable bread. Worth eating but choose wisely. read more

Ordered the Aviator Burger without the bun and fries but instead asked to have it served in a bed of lettuce. They said no problem. The burger itself simply did not taste that good. The toppings I requested were not correct and the "bed of lettuce" was meager at best. Just an unfortunate experience for such a high price. It's late and I have a very early flight in the morning or I'd send it back. The server was very friendly which kept this particular meal above a "1". I'm sure I'll be in the situation where I'll have to eat here again and I hope next time it will be better!! read more

Only in town for the night to attend a conference at the Marriott connected to the hotel and you HAVE to eat... right? Well, I'm glad the company was paying and not me. Here's why... Atmosphere: The overall theme of the restaurant is really fun and lively. Hence the name, it's centered around planes, probably because it's connected to an airport. Lol. I could be wrong... anyway, the concept is very open. On the same floor as the lobby with plenty of light and soft music playing this place makes for a great spot to hang out. Service: Here is where they lost a star. I sat at the bar for lunch the first day and the service was SO SLOW. I really don't care if the lunch rush was over or if it was high noon, it shouldn't take me flagging a manager in a suit walking by to get a refill for my water or to get my co-worker who showed up after me a menu to order from. Then when I finally get your attention, don't look pissed that you have to work here. Remember, that too... is a choice.... Let's talk about dinner that same night. We had Amy. She just... didn't look happy to be there. Neither are we. You know? No rental car, stuck in the hotel away from our families, high prices, I mean... at least smile and make this experience a good one. *Sigh*. I had a steak and it came out at a very different temperature than what I requested. I don't know if that mistake falls on the waitress or on the cooks/chefs. Doesn't matter, I sent it back and had it done correctly. It just wasn't a pleasurable service experience. Breakfast however... Debbie, she saved the day or... rather got our day started on the right foot! She was bubbly, friendly and attentive. She made sure our group of 9 had everything we needed and did it all with a smile on her face. I appreciated that. Food: The food though... was VERY good. The quality was absolutely there and alone... made it worth eating here... if someone else is paying. Lol. I'll get to that later. For lunch I went with the Ahi Tuna appetizer as well as their Orange Blossom Honey wings. Both were FANTASTIC, aside from the tuna being only 3 pieces. For dinner I tried their Habanero wings (which weren't that spicy) and their 44 Farms 14 oz. Rib Eye. After it was cooked correctly, it was delicious. It came served with a charred Romaine salad and red Chimichurri lemon fingerling potatoes. It all blended together very well. For breakfast I tried out their Eggs Benedict which is two poached eggs over a toasted English muffin, Canadian bacon and smothered in a hollandaise sauce. It was quite good! Value: Here's where they lose another star. Guess what, I don't care that the hotel is connected to the airport. That doesn't give them a reason to jack up the prices. 7 wings for $14.00. For real? 3 pieces of tuna for $15.00? Yeah, okay. $37.00 for a Ribeye? Eh... I'll let y'all slide with that one as well as the breakfast. The DRINKS THOUGH. Why was the cheapest 9 oz. glass of wine $18.00 fam?! I could buy a cheap 1.75L of wine for LESS. Anyway... In conclusion... IF I didn't have a rental car... couldn't go anywhere else... AND THE COMPANY was paying... I'd come back here. Don't get me wrong... the food was delicious, but... I hate feeling like I'm being price-gouged simply because of where I am. Feel me? read more

Had breakfast here after my flight and while waiting for my sister's arrival as this is the only relaxing and quiet place to stay after a long flight. The place is not busy in morning so my food was served quickly. Staff are nice and friendly. The Omelette I ordered was very good and tasty. The coffee is just perfect, not to strong or bland. read more

A very well deserved 4 star. I travel a lot and don't often eat at the hotel restaurant but did today. I ordered the chicken soup and the half baked chicken. I know chicken and chicken but you have to cut down some time. The soup was good and had bow tie noodles as an added twist. The cup was small for $6 but it is a hotel. The winner was the chicken dinner. I have had 1/2 chicken out a lot and most times it is dry and unassuming. This was a great surprise cooked to a moist temperature (bartender said they brine them) and the seasonal veggies were great as well! The twist was the cilantro which added some great taste. For a hotel restaurant this is really impressive. Order the chicken and you will not be disappointed! I also had an old fashioned that was made appropriately. read more
