Decided to come here for lunch since we haven't been here in a while. Lunch portion was smaller. I got the chicken sandwich with fries. They have unlimited fries. Tried the mango iced tea which was a little sweet for me but great in taste. Hubby got the plantation iced tea, broccoli cheddar soup and shrimp pasta with garden salad. Service was quick and plenty of tables. Nice cozy place to enjoy your lunch.

Wife suggested Ruby Tuesday for lunch. First thing came to mind was the Mango/Kiawe smoked ribs. This is my favorite entree at Ruby Tuesday. For my side I picked a Ceasars salad and mashed potatoes. The ribs were fall off the bone, delicious. I was offered extra sauce, which I took. The Ceasars salad was one of the best I've had in awhile. My wife went with the Chicken Broccoli Pasta. We both enjoyed our meals. The ambiance hasn't changed. It's still with that western theme. We were seated across the salad bar and I did notice the the selections had increased since Covid.

I have been to Ruby Tuesdays Moanalua many times and the majority of visits have been pleasant. The staff and service have always been good... Efficient friendly staff...not a long wait....this time was no different except usually the price and portions are agreeable. This time not so much. I went with the potroast for $26.79. My first thoughts was it looks like kids meal portions..mashed potato was the smaller scoop to put things into perspective. I am a small asian guy and a small eater and I was still hungry. The price to portion is not worth it they need to remove this item off their menu. Good way to lose loyal customers. Questionable portions for almost $27.00 is not to cool but more acceptable if it was good...... Unfortunately it was also really salty...actually comparable to dinty moore and thats not a compliment .. not a good value. Its not only about not really getting my moneys worth but kind of begs the question does the restaurant think this is acceptable? Hmmm anyways guess maybe its Drive thru on the way home or pepper lunch

Update 10-21-25. Since we're invited to a karaoke get together with a going away party i suggested that we have a late lunch here. I wanted to eat my broccoli chicken pasta and my husband had he's 1/2 rack of ribs. It was good. The ribs falls off the bones. My chicken broccoli pasta was good and filling. The broccoli was cooked well lots of chicken pieces and their Alfredo sauce was alot. I could have it lessen on the sauce but was ok. My picture will tell the story. The ribs my husband said was very good. He's Ceasars salad was good as well. It's been awhile since we came to eat here at this place and as well as windward mall location. The kapolei location closed awhile back. Will be back at either location again.

Same patty I said was over done when I asked for medium was slapped together in a different bun.

Not sure what's going on here at Ruby Tuesday. Is it under new management?Normally we have enjoyed our meals here. Their Salad bar was one of our favorite. Todays salad bar was beautifully maintained no problem there. Good job salad person. Host greeted up and sat us promptly. But .... Todays servicer , Adam was the worst ever. The server had an attitude when I explained that my burger was over cooked. I asked for medium done which is a slight pink in the middle but it was cooked all the way through. I asked if my bun was the gluten free bun I ordered and he said I'll have to change that out. Brought back the same burger cooked over done with the blob of Swiss cheese and mushrooms tossed on top looked like a mess. So basically the original burger was disassembled and sloppily reassembled on a gluten free bun. The bottom heel part of the bun was soggy and torn in two pieces. What I would have thought the classy thing to do would be to have a second patty cooked and new cheese and mushrooms on top. My sweet potato fries were soggy as well. If it was the oil from the burger than maybe fries should have been on a separate plate. I originally thought I'll pack up the burger for pet food but then just didn't want to bother with it and left it on the table. So disappointed.

Our waitress was brand new on the day our family (group of 23) visited and she did great! It's hard to service such a big group but we were just there for family time and catching up. Food was good for RT but the mimosas could use a little more alcohol!

Excellent salad bar and soup for lunch. Opens at 1030am during the weekdays. Loaded salad bar with many fresh options and three soups to choose from. $18.99. Soooo worth it. I personally love the tomato bisque with the croutons. YUMMY. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. *suggestion to the owner/manager* Create a space for the customers to put the tongs, serving spoons, etc. after using them. It's not sanitary having the handles of the tongs lying on the lettuce after a customer uses it. I was there first, so I made me a loaded salad and didn't go back for seconds.

The servers are always so friendly and really welcoming. We love coming here to get a drink and sample platter. Everything we've tried on the menu has been great! The vibe is family friendly with a giant salad bar.

The service was really good, we got checked on regularly to see if the food was good and if we needed anything. The food was also delicious especially the loaded potatoes and the shrimp. the Caesar salad was interesting as the croutons was a dark brown color instead of light brown color (and no it was not burnt). The only downside is that the table was really small and not ideal once the food was brought out that I had to hold my plate while I eat making me have to finished my salad first to stack instead of eating a bit of everything.

We haven't been to Ruby Tuesday in many years. One of the thing I can remember about this restaurant is a salad bar. This restaurant is located in Salt Lake area. It is inside an open mall, therefore, there are a lot of parkings. The Restaurant give you a few of an American style restaurant once you enter it they have big screen TV for you to watch the sport events. They also have outside sitting area. We were greeted by the host and seat us down quickly. Our waitress Lorenalyn is very nice and provides excellent service that we all enjoy our dining experience very much! I ordered 1/2 rack of rib (actually 1/2 rack is pretty big) and I added the salad bar. (Note: if you give one side from your dinner, you can save about $3 for the add on salad bar, and salad bar is all you can eat, so it can fill you up quickly. We also ordered the mango iced tea and the plantation iced tea. These teas are all free refill. Overall, very nice dining experience at this restaurant and we will come back and hope to see that nice waitress again.

A little overseasoned I thought. And cheddar cheese should not go on tacos. - Katsu chair siu - 5/10: Normally you'd get this traditional dish in pork or chicken. But they used char siu here. Wasn't working for me. - Fries with char siu on top - 4/10: meh. Char siu and fries don't go well with each other, especially when you drizzle teriyaki-type sauce on top. Too sweet that there's a bit of an imbalance in flavor. They also had open mic karaoke here. Crowd was kinda dead, so we tried to liven them up with a familiar country tune. Didn't work. Oh well. My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/STALE FOOD/DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS VETERANS…read more On 7/30/2026, I ate at Shark's Den Bar & Grill because my flight was delayed and, by the time I checked into the Airport Honolulu Hotel, it was already close to 8:00 p.m. I was scheduled for surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center the next morning and had been instructed to stop eating at 9:00 p.m. so I didn't have time to look for another restaurant. As advertised by the business, the restaurant is "located in the Honolulu Airport Hotel." Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After being seated, a couple who arrived after me were greeted and had their orders taken before anyone acknowledged me. It wasn't a great first impression. I ordered the loco moco and requested the eggs to be cooked over easy. The server then asked how I wanted my hamburger patty cooked, which caught me off guard. I've ordered loco moco many times over the years and had never been asked that before. Seeing my confusion, the server suggested having the burger cooked medium then I agreed. When my meal arrived it was around 8:30 p.m. and the eggs were cooked medium instead of over easy. The bigger issue, however, was the rice. The texture was very inconsistent...some bites were stale and crunchy, others were chewy, and some grains even stuck to my teeth. It gave the impression that the rice wasn't freshly prepared. Given the restaurant's convenient location for airport travelers, I was hoping for a quick, satisfying meal before my surgery. Unfortunately, the questionable service and disappointing food quality made for a less-than-ideal dining experience. I hope they can improve both their service and consistency in the kitchen. This restaurant also advertises having "live music", but on the Thursday night I was there they had karaoke. Restaurants should not advertise karaoke as "live music" because the terms describe two entirely different customer experiences. Update (7/31/2026): After posting this review, the server, Rutilio A., sent a "compliment" to me, here on Yelp, stating: "Questionable service??? (3 laughing emojis) bless your little heart. Please note that unless you are ordering loco moco out of a truck most RESTAURANT that don't serve frozen patties will give you the option on how you would like it cooked. Can't wait to see your review of your surgery. (Thumbs up emoji)" Rutilio's comment to me actually reinforces why I described the service as "questionable." Customer service doesn't end when the check is paid...it also includes how a business and its employees respond to customer feedback. Rather than addressing my concerns about the flawed rice or how customers who arrived after me were greeted and had their orders taken before me, he chose to mock me with laughing emojis, a condescending "bless your little heart," and a sarcastic comment about my surgery. That isn't the response most customers would expect from someone representing a restaurant. His comment became additional evidence supporting my original observation and demonstrated the same lack of professionalism and customer care that led me to describe the service as questionable in the first place and now turns out to be absolute garbage. Rutilo A. definitely does not belong in the hospitality industry. I originally gave this restaurant a 2-star rating, but after the server Rutilio A (using the alias Tillo A.) personally attacked me with his "compliment" here on Yelp, I now give this restaurant a 1-star rating.

Banana Pudding: 0/5…read more I was grabbing breakfast nearby at the Koa Pancake House but I've seen that this place had banana pudding on their menu. So I swung by on my way out to the parking lot for a sweet treat for later. I have to say this is probably one of the worst banana puddings I've ever had. It's one of my favorite desserts so I've had plenty from all over the country. If it's on the menu, there's a 90% chance I'm going to buy it. Their's tastes artificial. The pudding was reminiscent of a snack pack, but something about it made it taste worse. I don't know if it was additional sugar or how long I had been sitting in their fridge, but the pudding was pretty bad. There's maybe three or four nilla wafers on the bottom and one on the top for presentation. For the few wafers on the bottom, there was a slice of banana on top. Potentially totaling maybe three slices. For those slices, though, the banana was not ripe. You could tell the banana slices needed a few more days before use. Overall, I was wildly disappointed. I would highly not recommend their banana pudding, which is such a shame. I wished I loved it but sadly 0/5. The best part of the whole pudding was the 4 soft wafers. If that's the case, that should tell you something.

Second and last time coming to this location. We overlooked our first visit when my wife was done…read moreeating and I still hadn't gotten my food yet. It was the weekend and busy. But our second time was a mellow Wednesday for lunch and while the timing was better (still not synced), the food was either meh or completely shameful. Yes, shameful! Wife got the Caesar salad with char siu chicken katsu. The chicken was ono but the salad was lazy. Basic greens with a low-quality bottled sauce squeezed on top. No wonder it came out five minutes before mine. I got the fish tacos with tots (extra $2), and this dish was the most egregious rip off I've ever seen in a restaurant. No wonder the server dropped it and ran. For $18, I got three street taco-sized flour tortillas, goopy mayo-laden "slaw", and pico with a teeny tiny piece of fish on top. See the pics! Smaller than my thumb. Barely two tater tots in size. And because it was plopped into mayo slaw, it was soggy on arrival. The fish was also suspiciously fishy tasting. I debated eating it. I ended up making one taco with all the fish and a potato taco with some tots before finally giving up. I know things are tough for restaurants right now. But this was ridiculous. I paid and left and called it a lesson learned. I'll likely stick to the Pucks Alley location from now on. Still some pride in what they serve there.
