    Came in at 7:57 pm and was told at the door that they would be closing 8:00 pm until further notice. I informed the bartender that I only wanted to grab a to-go salad from the salad bar... While I waited by the door for the lady to verify with the manager that I could grab a salad, I noticed the health inspection results... with a grade of C! Score definitely raised an eyebrow but I was way too hungry to walk out so I snapped a picture of the results. I put on my "Waffle House" mentality and refused to look at it until AFTER I ate my salad. After the bartender verified with the manager, I was given the okay to grab a to-go salad. While I understand it was close to "closing" time, the mushrooms were brown, the lettuce was browning my and tasted like cleaning products, the tomato's were firm on the outside but soft and mushy on the inside, the and the cucumbers were rubbery. Long story short, they deserve every bit of that C rating.

    I live in Florida on the coast and we don't have a Rubys close to me so I was really excited to find one while I was traveling. I LOVE THE SALAD BAR. I'm vegan so getting a full meal on the road is kindof stupid sometimes. I use Yelp for directions so I obviously saw the rating of this restaurant and got a little weirded out, or- er, a lot weirded out- especially that one that says "the salad bar is not a full salad bar". Being the brave stubborn woman that I am, I went anyway. I walked up to the door and feared they were closed because there is a white paper sign posted but I parked and tried anyway- the sign simply states that they're closing at 8pm because they are short staffed. I walked in figuring this was going to be a hilariously terrible lunch but as soon as my feet crossed the threshold I was greeted by a very kind young lady, (later I found out ther name was Lana. I was the only person in the entire restaurant (okkkkk now I'm feeling like I've been set up) I indicated to the hostess that I'd like to sit at the bar and she walked me over with a smile and introduced me to Allison, the bartender. She greeted me with a warm, hello ma'am how may I help you. I asked for a Chardonnay and she asked my preference, house or something else, I chose house. She asked me if I was hungry or just drinking and I replied with a hesitant, "I'll probably have the salad bar but may I see a menu" she handed me a menu and proceeded to let me know that they were having a special salad bar + soup or salad bar + loaded baked potato and gave me some time. She made some chit chat with another employee and they involved me, it was just anecdotal banter but it was nice, because I came in alone. So, I made my way over to the salad bar and let me tell y'all something. It IS a full salad bar, it's stocked full and it's SO CLEAN! Everything was fresh and very well presented. The greens were crisp and so were the cucumbers (usually they are the first things to go soggy) I made myself a beautiful salad bar and proceeded to have great conversation with Allison and Lana. Keep in mind, I was the only customer here at the time so they were not abandoning their duties or ignoring other guests during this time. All restaurants go through hard times from time to time but it seems like whatever the problem they were having here was, it has been resolved.

    We went to another restaurant first but from the outside and the crowd by the door we came here instead. I want to give the benefit of the doubt like they probably were shorthanded. However, Bad service is BAD SERVICE. Our party was only 3 and the place was not busy but they still said a 20 minute wait. Then we sat: my booth chair had a wet spot, no silverware was placed or given (we stole from another table), and the Tables behind us were still dirty from the last party that sat there. I should have ordered the Salad Bar because I didn't think I was going to wait so long for my food. My mom ordered the Sticky Ribs: Too much Sauce (Her words). My brother ordered the Salmon, No complaints. I ordered the Tacodillas (as seen in the Picture) after I ate some of it. (It didn't look like the Picture and " the Sauce" was missing) and a side of Onion Rings. The Bartender/Server FORGOT about the Onion Rings and had to get it on the Fly when I was almost done with my food. She was a Nice Girl in Halloween makeup on October 21. However, She was AWAY from the Bar HALF the time. We sat near the Kitchen and I could hear what was going on. It almost sounded like that there was only one or two cooks in. For a Bar w/ TVs, there was only one sports game on (across the room) and the TV that was right above us was stuck on a frozen frame of Wayne Brady and "Let's Make a Deal!" The place had a relaxed and slow pace. They had no rush to "Turn & Burn". We sat in front of a few To-Go Orders and no one came to pick them up. (We were there for an Hour or more!) I hate comparing State to State, but my Hawaii location is better than this place.

    Ridiculous wing prices.

    I was trying to be very positive and patient when I came in for my visit tonight. (10/26/23) The food was sub par, the service was some of the slowest I've ever received in Hinesville which is HIGHLY impressive considering the standards at restaurants here are so low they are practically on the ground. My waitress was super sweet and it seems like she isn't typically a waitress but a bartender, which is okay, but the fact that I was one of 4 tables seated and waited 15 minutes for a drink, another 15 for my order to be placed and about a 45 minute wait after that for the appetizers to arrive, now that is just crazy. I ordered the wing platter appetizer and instead of notifying me prior to placing the order that they didn't have the amount of wings I asked for, they placed a double order to get the desired amount of wings (24) and it came out to $40!! 1.50 per wing!! I'm honestly appalled. The service is something I can overlook but careless acts like that can really ruin a reputation. As someone who doesn't have the comfort of being able to eat out more than once or twice a month, this was SUCH a huge let down. I won't be back. $80 for a couple appetizers and wings SMH. Do better Ruby Tuesdays. EDIT: 11.01.2023 I was contacted by the location manager, Grace, since my visit. She was extremely apologetic and tried everything she could to make sure she could right the wrong, crediting me for another meal, on them, at any location. She was very respectful and it was obvious they expect higher standards at their location. This being said, the original visit was not great but I think they handled it very professionally and with good intentions. Thank you, Grace.

    Food was absolutely disgusting. Me and my husband took a bite and spit it back out. It was our first time at Ruby Tuesday and it will absolutely be our last. The ribs was burnt. The shrimp was very inedible. The mash potatoes was not fresh at all and the fries tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. The steak was completely flavorless. The appetizers we had tasted very frozen still. Our whole meal was a complete waste of $70!!! We just paid and left the restaurant because me and my husband was beginning to feel sick from the food. Will not be returning here.
