I would never come back here. First they served the margaritas in the small glasses (which outside of happy hour will be $8) but gave another person at my table the actual glass (which is $10 outside of happy hour). They wouldn't provide us a empty glass so we can show that they are not the same size. One of the waters had a bug floating in it. They messed up our food orders. I ask for a shot and they brought a huge glass with a splash in it. I took a sip and it was gone. When we ask questions all we got was I don't know. I would never ever come back here again. Ruby Tuesday, a restaurant chain with standard American fare, a very good salad bar (very nice if you're on a restricted diet) and a variety of adult beverages (which I didn't know prior to tonight). It's relatively inexpensive for the menu. The difference in this Ruby Tuesday? The service. Very, very good; prompt, effective service. I'd recommend for anyone traveling through Florence, which frankly isn't the world's most desirable location. read more

Salad bar good as usual (don't get the coleslaw unless you like a strong vinegar-based slaw). Steaks were overcooked, server forgot our appetizer, didn't check with us after the meal was served and neglected to credit a $5 coupon off the bill. First time at this location. We are from Florida and frequent Ruby T's as one of our favorite lunch and dinner spots. We will never go back to this one in Florence SC. The salad bar was unkept, sloppy, spring mix was old, several empty spots that were not being filled with salad bar items. It was going to be my main meal because as a vegan, nothing on the menu accommodated my diet. The other person in my party was happy ordering a burger. When I asked if the chef could make me a pasta dish with a few veggies he told me they were out of broccoli. He told me they could not use the zucchini either. I felt sorry for our waiter because it was not his fault. We decided to leave. But the night had a good ending - We had an amazing meal at the Olive Garden and enjoyed the rest of our evening. Ruby T needs to seriously rethink how they run their kitchen and staff. We should have looked at the reviews. The parking lot was empty at dinner time. Wonder why??? read more

This location is way below the average Ruby Tuesday (or the whole chain has fallen on hard times). Not very clean. Not a good value - expensive for both the quality and quantity. That was not a Caesar salad. No bacon on the turkey avocado bacon burger. Maybe try the Cracker Barrel next store- looked a lot busier. I wonder why. read more

I ordered the salad bar along with my meal. I approached the salad bar only to find no plates and several items were empty. I stopped the first server I could find and asked them about plates and restocking the salad bar. It took 13 minutes before the plates came. In the meantime, my food arrives and the fish and vegetables are cold so I had to send it back. I have eaten at this location numerous times so I'm familiar with the service and it can sometimes get pretty busy. The service was once pretty good. I can't say that for my last 2 visits. Tonight it is very slow. There is no reason why the salad bar is not adequately stocked or you should have to wait on plates to be washed. And by no means should my food be ice cold. read more

Mediocre at best! We needed a place to stop and eat on our way to Florida and this was the only place that did not have a two hour wait. When we called, we were told that the wait time was only ten minutes and ended up waiting nearly thirty. We have been to countless Ruby Tuesday's and have always ordered there fresh Guacamole as we did once again today. To our surprise, when it came out, it looked as if it was sitting out for a while and was brown. The salsa that came with it was dry as well. We ended up sending it back and asked for them to bring out a fresh one. Unfortunately, once we got the new order, it came out looking worse than the first. Clearly they have fresh avocados since we ordered another appetizer, which was served with fresh diced avocados. The presentation of our entrees lacked effort. We concluded our meal by ordering two deserts. The Double Chocolate Cake, which came out fairly good and the New York Cheesecake that was a total disappointment. Not only was it still frozen at the center, but it also came out naked and berry-less. Not to mention we waited over twenty minutes for it. The decor and overall cleanliness of the restaurant has seen better days. Walking in, the salad bar was a complete mess. We avoided eating anything from it, you should too! The chairs were falling apart and the upholstery was feeling a bit under the weather. Lastly, I have no words to describe the bathrooms. Just make sure to use a bathroom elsewhere before coming here. When for dinner the other night with a party for 4. It took them 30 min to bring the drinks to the table. we ordered our food my husband ordered a steak rare and it was brought out well done. The manager was made aware of the problems and he blamed the other employees, he didn't even offer to fix the mistake. We asked it to be taken off the check and he said he would then 45 minutes later he brought us the check. read more

I don't even think this place deserves one star but I had no choice. I work at the Ruby Tuesday in Maine and I'd be fired on the spot if I acted like the bartenders we had tonight. We were greeted with a sigh and "what do you want" I asked for a relaxer and the bartender went over to her store and pour and shook it at me signaling that's all she had left. The male bartender asked if we were having fun I said no and he just shrugged. The manager or shift leader that was on witnessed all this and said nothing. This is literally the worst service ive ever had at any restaurant. It's sad and I'm not sure how this place is still even open. read more

Went to have dinner with my family, little did I know we would not have our dinner together that we would be eating in shifts. My wife an my dinner came out together. The waitress said my daughters Mac n cheese takes longer (really it's microwave they don't make a pot of it at a time. My wife had to send her food back because it was bearley warm and the brisket was all fat no meat. So we sent it back, mean while I'm eating my dinner thinking my daughters dinner is on the way, well can't find the waitress or a manager anywhere, flag down another waitress and ask for a manager, no show saw one going to another table and got her attention and asked how long it takes to microwave Mac n Cheese I'm almost finished eating before my daughters food finally arrived ( the explanation I got it takes longer for kids food to make) yeah it requires someone to read the directions and push a button) mean while 2 tables away the head manager and 2 waitress are catering to it because she knows one of the persons. read more

2nd time we've stayed at this exit, 2nd time we've been to this Ruby Tuesday. Friendly and lots of staff. But both times they've messed our appetizer to go order, turning a 20 minute wait into an hour. Part of the order ends up being soggy/greasy as it sits forever waiting until the forgotten order or replacement order is filled. As far as Ruby Tuesday's is concerned this place needs some work. No issues with the wait staff, the salad bar was good too, but the soups had a lot to be desired. My wife had the broccoli cheddar; I had the Garden vegetable. Hers came out with a layer of shredded cheddar cheese that looked as if it had just come out of the microwave. The vegetable soup was obviously a pre-made soup that was extremely bad. My soup was sent back, the wife removed the shredded cheese and moved on. We never did see a manager. It's hard to mess up soup and salad, but this location seemed to do it. On a side note, the restrooms need serious attention and this place seemed more of a poorly ran truck stop instead of a restaurant that is normally know for something better than this. read more

Called and placed a Togo order tonight. When we arrived to pick it up the bartender ignored us for a while and then continued to be extremely rude. She said that they had no order for us and that I must have called the wrong Ruby Tuesday's. She did not offer to place the order again. I then confirmed the number I dialed and it was correct. So after waiting for 40 minutes we no longer have a meal and are disappointed and hungry. read more

I usually enjoy Ruby Tuesday as I can always count on a salad bar stocked with good, fresh produce; not this time. I was in town for business and stopped for lunch. On the salad bar there were several tomatoes that had huge black spots on them. Okay, I might have overlooked it but there was an employee adding items to the bar and did nothing to the tomatoes. I also ordered the buffalo wings, hot. It's pretty hard to mess up wings but these wings tasted very much like the wings you would buy frozen in the grocery store. You know, the ones you bake and the skin is rubbery - yes, these were just like that. To top it off, I stopped in the restroom before I left to wash my hands. The bathroom smelled really bad - like urine - something you might expect in that shady convenience store you stop in on the road - ewww. We went to Ruby Tuesday for supper on our way to Florida and came here because we had stopped into another Ruby Tuesday several hours earlier to use their washroom. The other one looked amazing and I wanted to have the salad bar so we stopped at this one. Unfortunately at this particular location, we sat for 10 minutes until I had to flag someone down for service. She found a waitress for us but we never got an apology for being forgotten about. Then halfway through my husband's meal, she asked us if we wanted dessert and when we said no, she brought us the check. Again while my husband was still eating, she came again to ask if we were ready to pay. We had only been eating for about 10 minutes and already felt rushed! Anyway, the food quality of the salad bar was great. The entrees were okay, but the service sucked! read more

On our way south we stopped over in Florence and finding our hotel on the west side of 95 decided to try the Ruby Tuesday rather than the restaurant we had discovered on an earlier trip. Our waitress, named after one of the four seasons, was very nice if a tad impatient as my wife was taking her time moving through the menu; so we ordered a couple of drinks to buy time. My wife finally settled on a fish group that featured a crab cake, lobster, and sweet potato fries. Her choice surprised me as she is a bit of a foodie when it comes to seafood and I did not believe Ruby Tuesday was up to her expectations and unfortunately was proved correct as her crab cake was heavily breaded and by her accounts tasteless. The sweet potato fries had a more of an out of the bag and baked texture to them and also proved a disappointment. The drink, however, featuring pear vodka and an infusion of lavender tea was good and she had a second. My fish order featured tilapia, salmon, and shrimp all of which were indistinguishable from one another excepting the shrimp had tails. I believe these entrees came from the chef inspired menu. Which chef was not specified. The diner did offer a trip to the salad bar which was the highlight of the meal. Ruby Tuesday does offer a wide selection of items with which to build a decent salad. Overall the experience suggested we should have ordered hamburgers. read more

This review is for people from the NE or California. Food is edible (if you can get past the sticky tables and greasy taste). Don't expect anything matching what you're used to. We were there 9/5/2015 around 8pm. There was a long line and I noticed that one side of the restaurant had 12 or so tables empty. I asked to speak to the Manager and he told me they kept that part of the restaurant for prep or large parties. When I pointed out the long line and time he had us escorted in to the CLOSED part . There were several open tables in the OPEN part of the restaurant. We received our beverages shortly. And then the wait. No food. Everyone in the OPEN section was being served, even if they had come in later than us. So after awhile I went back to the front and asked to have someone come to our table. I have never had to do this!! We were comped our beverages and left in search of food. We feel we were punished. The wait at Tubbs was only 20 minutes and we should have stayed. We ordered food and drink. The tea was brought out within a minute or two. Crysta stated the beer was being poured. We saw her service other tables & tried to get her attention with no luck. About 20 minutes after we ordered our food arrived. My beer was still not served. I again asked her for my drink & also for setups. My garden salad, ordered as a side, did not come out with my meal. I asked about this and she said she would be back with it. She then left & 3 minutes later our setups arrived. 5 minutes after that my garden salad arrived. After the setups arrived, she brought my beer to me. It was apparent that is was poured a while ago as there was no "head" on it. She never checked on us and/or our satisfaction with the meal. When she came over to ask us if we wanted desert, we just got her to bring the check. She asked my son if he wanted another drink. He said yes. She returned with the check but no drink. I saw who appeared to be a manager, Terrance, and asked him over to the table. I explained to him what I stated above. He said it shouldn't have been a problem as she only had a few tables. He said he would speak with her & bring his drink. 10 min later we were tired of waiting for my son's drink, we paid the bill and left. read more

On Mother's Day we stopped at this Ruby Tuesday to treat ourselves (3 women ) away from home for our escape reality weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to find frozen margarita's on special ...but even more impressed with our server !! His name was "D" or his nickname maybe HAHA! He made not only our evening special but really made us feel as though he cared about us and his job !! He had a great sense of humor, a knowledge of the menu to answer all our questions ,and he was always there when needed ....hats off to " D" and the management for really showing us some much needed southern hospitality! read more
