My husband and I ate here last night. When we arrived there was 3 girls working at the front and they were talking. They weren't very friendly. One of them seated us but never greeted us. She showed us to our seats and sat our silverware down on the table then walked away but never spoke right to us. It was weird. Then We had a waitress come introduce herself and said she was our waitress for the night. she was very interesting and jittery. Then a few minutes later we had a new server. He said he was new. That it was his 5th day. He was very nice and funny. He was great. The food was amazing! The guy who delivered our steaks asked us to cut into it and make sure they were to our liking. They were perfect. Our waiter checked in on us a few times and made sure we were happy with our food. The salad bar was packed with fresh food and had great variety. I was impress. I was also impressed because we were there after 7 pm but it was still fully loaded with food & clean. The lettuce was fresh. We usually like Ruby Tuesday really well, but this was a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered the garden bar for our meal. The lettuce was kinda slimy and some of it was brown. The server was friendly but really rushes and there weren't all that many people there. My mother and I purchased unlimited salad and soup and our first bowl of soup came out when everybody else was done with their food almost, after we had asked at the beginning of the meal and multiple times in between. My father ordered his steak rare and it was well done and tasted like fish. My brother didn't get his burger until we got our soup as well. The soup was lukewarm and tasted old and disgusting. This is my second time here coming to Branson. When we walked in we waited 10 minutes to finally be seated after being passed. Once we were sat our waiter was VERY friendly and outgoing. We ordered drinks and food. The food took a little longer than 20 minutes but came out good. It's our anniversary so we ordered dessert and that took about another 15 but was worth the wait. TL;DR Review: Good food, maybe even worth the wait and spotty service. We all ordered, and the server asked if we'd like the kids' food to come out before ours. Uh, no. If the kids' food comes out before our food, what are the kids supposed to do instead of bothering us while we eat? Anyway, my daughter decided to change her order a few moments after our waitress left. We caught her within a few minutes and she let us change the order. Seven minutes later, we were handed our daughter's new, changed order. So my son watched my daughter eat, and stole her fries as the rest of us ran out of drinks waiting for our food. I didn't time it, but it seemed like a long time before our food got there. I ordered one of the Summer Specials: Nashville Heat. It's three chicken strips with a half-slab of ribs, served with lemon-pepper cole slaw and fries. It's advertised as coming with pickles, but I didn't get those. The picture also shows some sort of ranch-style dip (for the chicken strips I guess), but I was given some kind of bourbon BBQ dip instead. I asked to substitute the cole slaw, but I was told I couldn't substitute that. I'm not a slaw person. Anyway, my wife posited that maybe they wouldn't let me substitute the slaw because it was just a thimble-full or something. It wasn't. It took up about 1/4 of the plate. I still don't see any reason I couldn't substitute that; I only tasted it. It wasn't good to me, even as slaw goes. Don't order this meal expecting it to be actually hot. It's lightweight. I asked my server if it was super-hot or just a little, and she said she'd put it at 7/10. I'd put it closer to 3/10. It was sweeter than it was hot. Pretty disappointed about that. However, as much as it wasn't hot, it WAS really good. I'd probably order it again. The ribs weren't super tender, and not super hot, but they were delicious. The chicken strips were well-paired with them, and again, not spicy, but delectable. Fries were also good. It seemed like it took forever to get our food, and despite their stupid policies and not getting some food we should have gotten, everyone left full and happy. I would repeat this visit. They had some staffing issues so they only had three Waiters but the one that we had she did an amazing job, she had a big party of an O at least 12 to 17 people and she worked it with no problem at all. I had the Asiago steak with onion rings I was pretty okay, and my husband had the ribs and shrimp apparently he enjoyed because he ate it all.
