Ruby Tuesday on the Strip in Branson! Ruby's was still definitely on Tuesday for this Wednesday lunch visit for my wife and I. No one was present when we arrived and after being seated ordering was slow and we had trouble getting the bill when ready to go. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked except no tomatoes. It seemed as though the staff was busy doing everything except taking care of customers, including the manager. There are many great options in Branson for lunch and this isn't in the top ten. read more

I wish I could describe the food as "memorable" in a positive sense, but sadly, my taste buds are still trying to recover. The salad bar lacked freshness, and the variety of items was limited. I anticipated a greater selection for the price, but it was mostly of subpar quality. The brownie served for dessert was at room temperature, and when paired with ice cream, it detracted from the enjoyment of having a gooey warm brownie with ice cream. It was bland, no seasoning, catfish was not crispy, it was soggy, and I could tell it was frozen food that had been heated up. Not good. Baked potato was best part of the meal. The slaw was awful, no dressing, no seasoning! Yuck! The floors of the restaurant everywhere was filthy. Looks like it hadn't been swept or mopped in months. The bathroom was dirty too. Kind of torn how to rate this one. It wasn't awful but it wasn't great. This place seems to be super slow. We went during lunch and there was like 3 parties. Salad bar was the best thing and it could've been a little cleaner. Server was nice, but loud and talkative if that's your cup of tea. We stopped here for dinner last night, and I was impressed overall with both the service and food. The staff, including the server, food runner, and host, were all friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good, not as great as Ruby Tuesday was back in the day of ribs and steaks and free salad bars, but decent and fresh. The salad bar was restocked often while we were there and had a good variety. My whole family had it and enjoyed it. It is now 12.99 for the salad bar or 5.99 to add it on, so pretty pricey. I do wish they had more salad bar/ dinner combos like before (sandwich, sliders, etc), and I miss their white chicken chili! They have kids eat free twice a week and have a good email rewards program. We used a bogo coupon for dinner entrees last night that saved us 10.99. They also offer fresh veggies like grilled zucchini or steamed broccoli with kids' meals, and I love seeing that variety instead of regular ol fries and tots. The location is right on the strip in Branson across from the ferris wheel. Good spot, but older building and the inside definitely shows some wear and tear. Visiting Missouri for a weekend and decided to try out Ruby Tuesday. The place reminds me of Chilis and Applebees which there's nothing wrong with that. When we arrived we were seated immediately and the server greeted us immediately as well. The food did not take long to prepare. It was delicious. The decor was nice. While walking on the strip in Branson Missouri, the wife and I stopped for some food and drinks. Thought we would make this stop an early dinner before going to a show and seeing all of the cool tourist traps in the area. First things first. Yes, the waitress was new and I believe her inattentiveness was because she was new, so, I'll give her a break on that. Also, I saw most of the draft beers were out because cups covered the taps and since I spend a lot of time in bars, I know that that means. We were there at about 2 or 3 in the afternoon, so the restaurant had been open for a while before we arrived. We ordered the salad bar and the steak and rib combo. After I got the salad, I ordered a beer from one of the uncovered taps. Well, after about 30 minutes of waiting for the beer, the waitress finally realized that she hadn't got it for me yet. Well, the tap blew and it was empty. A woman, not the manager, but talked like one came to the table. Offered me a bottle of the beer and would "adjust" my tab to the new price. Then she said that the ribs were not done and would not be done for about another hour. I told her I didn't want the bottle beer and I didn't want meal any longer. She did us a "favor" by only charging us for the salads and soda (the only items we actually got in the hour we spent waiting. We walked to another restaurant in the area and had a great meal. My only advice if you want to eat at this place is to ask 8fntheir issues have been resolved and if they actually have the food you want. Other than that, not much else you can do. Definitely a two star restaurant. I cannot recommend this place, especially if you have time constraints. read more

The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is sometimes the steaks are a little thin, otherwise they have a pretty good selection and the burgers are amazing. They have one of the best small salad bars in town! If you happen to get Kendall as your server, he is amazing and will probably have a great idea of what you're hungry/thirsty for. They could use a few more tv's to watch the game. When not too busy the ambiance is very friendly and you don't have to wait long for service. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was mushy in the middle, Prosecco was flat and some employee was just standing around in his wife beater talking to his coworkers. Like many Branson restaurants, they have been understaffed for quite some time. The employees are really trying - servers are sometimes jogging down the aisles. And, both managers were working kitchen on a busy Saturday. The food is good (I like the turkey burger) but the salad bar is outstanding; the best around. On this day, they ran out of their awesome house-made crackers. When the Asst. Mngr. came round asking how we liked our meal, I told him "fine but I'd sure like some crackers." Consistently follows the Ruby Tuesday's formula, it is exactly the same as every other one I have ever been to, right down to the semi-crunchy pumpernickel croutons on the salad bar. Massive selection of burgers on the high-gloss menus, but I opted to go with the petite filet mignon today. It arrived with broccoli and mashed potatoes that did not taste like they were out of a packet. I really like Ruby's for the salad bar, which I think hasn't changed in ten years. It's the same stuff at every one of their restaurants. It's casual dining with a very full selection at the bar. Would I come here again? Sure. Consistency is nice sometimes. Just horrible- service and food. With very few restaurants open past 9 in Branson, we were limited on where to have a sit down dinner on a Sunday night. We should have gone to McDonald's and saved the money. With only a handful of customers but numerous staff, we still were ignored for the first 15 minutes we were seated in the restaurant. Then our drinks did not come until the food came- and we all just got water! When it finally came - The Food was very poor quality. I'm surprised this place is still in business. Food has been consistently good here but service lackluster. On our most recent visit this evening we waited about 10 minutes in the entryway for a host to show up. When they finally did show they reeked of smoke so I understand why we waited so long (smoke break) . Once seated alongside the bar, it was an even longer wait for our server to get off her break to take our order. Been a very long time since I have been to one of these as they are no longer in my area. When I saw there was one near our hotel I knew me and my family had to come here. We were seated right away and greeted by our waitress shortly after. The main Tai I ordered was great and when I ordered the waitress asked if I wanted a large one to which I said yes. Visiting branson and have eaten at many other runy tuesdays before and never had this problem. my entire table (4) all for steaks and waters, two of which ordered medium rare, one medium, and one well done. The food was delivered to us completely wrong, the steak was decent for the most part until you flipped it over to see that the steak was still mooing practically. I mean i don't think someone who was ordering rare would've eaten it, quite raw. They were understaffed so it's under stable for some mistakes, but we were not asked one time if food was good or for refills on drinks. Whike paying the server stated that it looked like our steaks were "cooked perfectly" after probably watching us pick through the raw meat to the cooked food. This is horrible service, regardless of being understaffed. Servers should be trained to work under pressure while still having an uplifting caring spirit about their job!!! read more

Hubby & I arrived at 10:30pm after our show for a snack. We were seated and immediately a server took our drink order. I had the Refresher cocktail that is a special $6 drink on Fri & Sat. The drink arrived quickly and was very good. A short time later the wait person took our order of a steak Tacodilla and a piece of carrot cake. After about 30 min (it's now 11pm, closing time), when people who came after us have ordered and received their food our wait person comes by and says our order "ran off the bottom of the screen and was forgotten" so she takes our order again. Another 30 minutes goes by, now 11:30, still no food, so we left $6 on the table for the drink and left. Two stars for quick service at first and the drink was tasty, especially for $6.
