I was surprised to see two stars for Ruby Thai Kitchen. It's decent for mall food. I enjoyed my meal. It was super quick and pretty tasty. I got half noodles and half fried rice with string beans and basil chicken. I'm sad that they're no longer giving samples. A cruel world we live in.

Food is tepid. Even veggies have an oddly weird aftertaste. Tasted marginally acceptable because I was hungry. It would literally taste like a dumpster otherwise. The PdR - poop-filled shrimp...jumbo, so hard to miss, ya know?

Fast and friendly service, and surprisingly delicious food. Obviously not an authentic pick but it definitely hits the spot for mall food court "asian". The mango chicken and bbq pork were very flavorful and fresh, and the green beans were crisp but tender. Rice wasn't bad either. Definitely not bland food at all. Honestly not the worst deal for the amount of food you get.

Fast service and surprisingly good food. Chicken was very crispy and sauce went well with the fried rice. Rice was a little low quality but the chicken blew me away. Around $9 for just one combo so a little pricey for mall food but it was quick, filling, and tasty. I'd give this place another try the next time I come back to South Shore Plaza.

I had a 2 entree plate with pad thai, bbq pork, and spicy mango chicken. Everything tasted great. The service was quick and friendly. The portions were a little small. I usually have left overs when I eat at take out places like this. I ate the whole plate and could go for some dessert.

I ordered a 2 meal combo, the food was not as good as expected. Following that, I went to eat the food and there was multiple pieces of hair in it. I then asked the owner for a refund and he tried telling me it was pieces of my fork and not hair. He proceeded to help other people and make me wait and then only refunded me $7 out of the $8.69 and told me to have a good day.

I personally think this place has the most variety at this food court. Don't be expecting no high quality food here. You are eating at a food court in the mall...you know what you are getting...cheap protein and veggies coated in MSG. It will fill you up and get the job done and that's really all that matters.

Chicken Satay (4) $8.50 Tofu Pad Thai $13.95 Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice $13.95 Seafood Mixed Vegetables - Fresh mixed vegetables sautéed with light brown sauce $17.95 Tamarind Crispy Shrimp - Crispy jumbo shrimp, mixed vegetables with tangy tamarind sauce and served with Jasmine rice $19.95 Rama Crispy Duck - Crispy boneless duck and mixed vegetable in delicious peanut sauce $26.95 They gave us a small rice with each of the non-carb dishes, and served the tamarind sauce wisely on the side, safely contained in a plastic bag. Too bad they did not do the same with the peanut sauce for the rama crispy duck. But still everything was good. And the 4 jumbo shrimp were quite large, and exceedingly crispy. The same broccoli, snow peas, carrots, and diced bell peppers were nicely formed into a nest under both the crispy shrimp and the crispy duck, while the Mixed Vegetables included yellow squash, zucchini, some leafy greens and baby corn with the carrots, broccoli and bell pepper strips. I noticed a dated sign in the window, celebrating their anniversary in April with a free dessert for those dining in and hitting a certain spend amount. *** January 2026 Their chicken satay sadly seems to have shrunk in the new year. We selected duck as the protein on the pad Thai and it was a good portion. And they provided plenty of tofu in our entree, which came with white rice.

The gentleman who helped us was welcoming, offered us tea, and got our table ready right away. It seemed like they were a bit short-staffed, as service started off slow. We ordered the shrimp fresh rolls, which were very fresh and tasty. The fried rolls were also delicious--the pork was moist and flavorful. The eye round pho had a flavorful broth, but the chicken pho was bland and almost sweet. Someone else at the table tried it and mentioned it tasted slightly like seafood. Both rice plates we ordered had very flavorful meat. The last dish we tried (not pictured) was the vermicelli combo bowl with a fried roll, chopped pork, and grilled shrimp, which was really tasty. For drinks, we ordered the brown sugar boba. It wasn't very sweet, and while that may appeal to some, I personally wished it were sweeter. The boba pearls were a mix of hard and chewy, which took away from the drink. The gentleman who assisted us was very attentive and even suggested how to dip the meat in different sauces to make it more flavorful. He was really attentive and kind. Overall, I'd rate our experience a 3 out of 5. It was decent, but I'm not sure I'd be in a rush to return.

I'm pretty much a fan of anything with peanut sauce. We both got pho for our main dishes, which were delicious. What I remember most was the waiter was super chatty, possibly more so than any other restaurant I've been to in the Boston area!

I recently wrote a review for the 'Hot & New' Omori in Quincy. While I am not a detractor of Omori,…read morethe experience there left something to be desired. This is due to some creative decisions I disagree with and, at times, very little eel. Meanwhile, Sake Japanese Restaurant hits just the right spot! The creative decisions were excellent, with everything coming together splendidly. The fish was fresh and in more than generous amounts. This, in turn, makes the cost of about $20 per roll seem reasonable and makes it much easier to stomach (I didn't intend the pun, but I will own it). Regarding the Holiday and the Kevin Page, these maki rolls are similar. Both shine with the white fish on top and generous amounts of tuna (and salmon in the Holiday's case) within. The eel and cucumber add a pleasant new dimension to the pieces. I'd say these two are like identical twins adopted by different families. Each will have some unique personality and flair, but at the core, they are one. The crazy tuna brought something different to the table. While I am generally not a fan of the chopped-up style of fish, here it just works, and I didn't mind it. If I were to guess, this is because many places have more tempura than fish and add too much spicy mayo. Despite the style, the tuna was still able to shine through. For the inside, I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the cumber with the sweetness and savory notes from the eel. Finally, the service was polite and speedy, though it wasn't bustling. Thus, not only would I happily return to Sake, but I would love to order the same three rolls again, for they were *that* good.

While my order was in route, the restaurant called and informed me that my driver forgot the hot items. No extra charge, and when I tried to give him a tip, he politely declined. THAT is platinum level of customer service. And to top it off, the sushi was delicious...I cannot wait to heat up and try the ramen. Highly suggest, if I could give more stars I would!
