I was surprised to see two stars for Ruby Thai Kitchen. It's decent for mall food. I enjoyed my meal. It was super quick and pretty tasty. I got half noodles and half fried rice with string beans and basil chicken. I'm sad that they're no longer giving samples. A cruel world we live in.

Food is tepid. Even veggies have an oddly weird aftertaste. Tasted marginally acceptable because I was hungry. It would literally taste like a dumpster otherwise. The PdR - poop-filled shrimp...jumbo, so hard to miss, ya know?

Fast and friendly service, and surprisingly delicious food. Obviously not an authentic pick but it definitely hits the spot for mall food court "asian". The mango chicken and bbq pork were very flavorful and fresh, and the green beans were crisp but tender. Rice wasn't bad either. Definitely not bland food at all. Honestly not the worst deal for the amount of food you get.

Fast service and surprisingly good food. Chicken was very crispy and sauce went well with the fried rice. Rice was a little low quality but the chicken blew me away. Around $9 for just one combo so a little pricey for mall food but it was quick, filling, and tasty. I'd give this place another try the next time I come back to South Shore Plaza.

I had a 2 entree plate with pad thai, bbq pork, and spicy mango chicken. Everything tasted great. The service was quick and friendly. The portions were a little small. I usually have left overs when I eat at take out places like this. I ate the whole plate and could go for some dessert.

I ordered a 2 meal combo, the food was not as good as expected. Following that, I went to eat the food and there was multiple pieces of hair in it. I then asked the owner for a refund and he tried telling me it was pieces of my fork and not hair. He proceeded to help other people and make me wait and then only refunded me $7 out of the $8.69 and told me to have a good day.

I personally think this place has the most variety at this food court. Don't be expecting no high quality food here. You are eating at a food court in the mall...you know what you are getting...cheap protein and veggies coated in MSG. It will fill you up and get the job done and that's really all that matters.

Rudest staff I've ever seen. One lady even gave me the hand wave as if to say, "forget you". Never again even if I was starving.

Food took about 30 minutes to get! However, the food was at least freshly made and tasted as such. Nothing tastes better than freshly fried chicken! I ordered the 8 piece combo family meal. It was fine expect they gave us all dark meat. I was expecting 2 pieces of each, but we got 4 legs and 4 thighs. I wouldn't mind if the price reflected the dark meat combo - as it's usually cheaper than combos with Breasts. The chicken sandwich was decent, as were the seasoned fries. The biscuit was good, better than KFC. The cinnamon apple pies were amazing and a must buy! The outter crust/shell reminds me of a crispy churro. This is a stall inside a food court and the ambiance is that of a food court. There were lots of younger children playing the in the near by playground, but a bunch of teens causing a ruckus.

We wanted to be somewhere by 8am, so that worked for us. 2) They have a parking lot, just past the intersection, after the building on Water Street. Okay, this was more of a bonus for us, at least initially, but when I got there and saw the streets around them, I even more appreciated it. There's also an entry from the parking lot, but it isn't particularly clearly marked. I read about it on someone else's review, and got there first, so I had time to meander. But is the metal staircase closest to the sidewalk. There was a single waitress, which meant service wasn't the quickest. But she was nice and knew her regular by name. The booths had clear plastic (or glass... I didn't touch them to verify) dividers - perhaps due to the pandemic and social distancing, perhaps not, but I liked them and they seemed a part of the original booths, rather then an after thought. We split a sweet and a savory - double strawberry pancakes (3 pancakes with both berries cooked in, and strawberry compote, whipped cream on the side) $12.50, and Granite Street Benedict (with corned beef hash) $14.50. The sweet was surprisingly not too sweet, while the savory was a bit too salty. We weren't hurried along or anything. And they take both cash or credit.

Chose the Philly Cheese Steak and got the arugula salad which was fairly large for a side. Sandwich was also good-sized and I only could eat half but the other half made for a nice lunch the next day. Others were happy with their meals, I honestly forget what everyone ordered. The draft beers and other drinks came quickly and waitress was good about keeping our glasses full. Very responsive. Was sort of loud place is my only complaint. I wait at the register and not a soul around to ring me up. Finally, someone comes over and hands me my quesadilla off the grill. Doesn't ask me if I want salsa, sour cream or guacamole. So I ask for it. Forgets to give me my cup for my soda. I walk over to 4 different tables before I can even find one that's actually clean. The place was so disgusting filthy. I've never seen it that bad. Every single table had food stains all over it. The trash was overflowing and no one was really doing anything but standing around.
