We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, and here is my review of the food right from the jump the food definitely did not disappoint.!! It was delicious! The service was great as well. You can definitely feel the family owned vibes from everyone in the place. Guest after guest came in and left with platters of food mostly they are famous empanadas and roasted chicken. There are about four small tables if you wanted to eat your food inside, but mainly while we were there folks left with platters of food. When you walk in you're immediately greeted by a smell of delicious food and a beautiful and quirky interior. They have many drinks and snacks based on the Filipino and El Salvadorian roots of the restaurant! We've had many items off the menu but our favorites are the tocilog, longaniza, garlic rice, and tamal de elote. Portions are large and always fresh. Because of that, I skipped the salsa bar and just added a few dashes of Tapatío to my tacos, which worked out well. I wish they had lids or protective covers over the salsa bar to keep flies away from the food. Despite that, I'd still come back because the tacos themselves were very good. Next time, I'll probably ask the staff for fresh pico instead of using the salsa bar.
