Surf and Turf burrito
Joe H.

Great taco spot in the heart of Lindenhurst Downtown. Place has a cool vibe and great value for your $. Came here for margarita day and was treated to $5 margaritas. Wife and I split the Holy Black Crunch wrap and the Surf and Turf, both were impeccable. Overall great food and a great value.

This place is cute a nice neighborhood gem. Although casual, the service is top notch and very efficient. There was 1 server for the entire place and Nick was amazing - he kept checking in to make sure we were good. It was Cinco De Mayo so I was surprised there were no specials - that was a little disappointing. However, I feel like our party of 4 ordered a lot and the bill was very reasonable. There was mix of folks girl groups, guy groups, couples, kids and it seems everyone fit in.

We were planning on going to the Irish pub next door but we just happened to park on the street out front....lucky day, nice place very cool atmosphere, cool tunes a la lost in translation, ample seating at the bar. Delicious margaritas. Had the gringo tacos off the daily specials. Exactly how I like them done but if you want something else they like 20 different tacos. Staff was friendly and attentive. What do you want from a place like this? To walk out full and happy!

This is a pretty cool spot. I came for happy hour on Monday. Love that HH starts at lunch time haha for all you work from home peeps- def the place to pass by for an extended lunch lol Service is great. It's a really chill, calm vibe here. I've been here a few times at this point and music is hit or miss. I believe someone plugs in their phone for music so vibes really depend on who's behind the bar and also quality of drinks. I would say that the reason for my 3.5 borderline 4 experience is the inconsistency in how well the drinks are made and my preferred music choices lol other than that DEF come for the food! These plantains are unlike anything youll ever have . The guac is fresh (I'll opt to add in jalapeños for a kick) chips are warm - we love that!!! And they use local vendors which make it all the better!

Taco Tuesday!

First time here! They have a small bar area and a couple of tables. Maybe 4. We came for their taco Tuesday special. 3 tacos for $12! We got chips & salso to start, and a margarita. We tried the chicken, simmered beef, jackfruit, pumpkin, and fish tacos! They were great! We were so full. It was casual, a but noisy in there. The server was nice and attentive.

Ruby Soho in Lindenhurst was a Wonderful surprise! I knew what the place looked like from the brew house and now it's beautiful!!! My son, Richard, took me here and I had the pumpkin taco. Wow And the redesign of the place is even more WOW The owner and bartender were warm and friendly I am so happy for them and wish them well Cheers!

Heard about it so I decided to go with the wife on a Friday night. Not bad at all. Reminded me of a "hip" spot in Astoria...just a slightly older crowd. Place is small but nice and the waitress was awesome. The wife and I tried some of their margaritas which were good (roughly around 13 each). We also tried the tacos and guac. Both were good but the guac is a tad pricey (14). It's a nice little addition to the ever growing wellwood avenue. If you want a drink and a quick bite I'd def recommend that you give it a try.

Stopped In with my daughter and her fiancé for quick drinks. Hands down best spicy margaritas in lindenhurst. It was made fresh no sour mix. Extremely fresh ingredients. I also just wanted to try their chicken taco. It was a lot of chicken included for only 5$. Will be back for sure Thanks

It's always good when your Birthday falls on the weekend, like mine did this year. My wife and I we're going out to celebrate and the place we started was Ruby Soho's, a new place in our revitalized downtown neighborhood here in Lindenhurst. It was great. It was a Saturday night so the place was buzzing, but not a mosh pit. Good selection of tequilas, prompt service and the food is reasonably priced and a good selection for our vegetarian tastes. It was our starting point for a great night out in Lindy. My only hope would be for better brand of house tequila, It's nice when basic drink is still tasty and doesn't require an upgrade. It was a great way to start our evening and our celebration, we will be back.

Vegan and the Holy Black Crunchwraps...Yum!

A little bit of the city in Lindenhurst...great atmosphere, attentive service, great music and loved the Vegan Crunchwrap.

Passion fruit margarita.

Visited Ruby SoHo's on a whim on Saturday evening and was not disappointed. You can never go wrong with Margaritas & tacos and as a vegetarian I was happy to see they had a good amount of options. I ordered the Ruby Burrito with Beyond Meat and my husband ordered 3 veggie tacos; Vegan green machine, braised jackfruit fruit & crispy pumpkin. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend the burrito and the braised jackfruit. The service was good and everything was brought within a reasonable time too for a Saturday evening. The most we waited was 10 mins for food We both ordered margaritas and found them to be on the stronger side which we didn't mind. I ordered the passion fruit and it was great, not too sweet or artificial tasting.

The location might seem small, but it's jammed packed with traditional flavors that are being executed to perfection. Can't believe I waited this long living in the neighborhood (2+yrs) to finally stroll in and experience what some might say is 'Pura Vida' or !Magnífico¡ Upon first visit, I had to try one of their margaritas and at least one 'Street food' menu item, so opted for their Pear Margarita and Birria Empanadas. Let's say Bravo, Brava and Encore to explore more of their menu. The cocktail was totally on point without being overpowering in any way, very balanced and brightly refreshing. The empanadas were deliciously crispy without being greasy, stuffed and sealed perfectly. Then opted to try their Mashed Potatoes Fries and requested a side of their advertised Shishito slaw seen topping another menu item. I loved the way they created and presented both. The fries were a perfect balance of soft but crisped with the creme drizzle and pickled onions. :* The Shishito slaw was a summery, crunch lightly dressed which has me wanting and requesting more the next visit. They should definitely add that as one of their regular listed sides. My husband had a burger with regular slaw and an old fashioned styled cocktail which he mentioned to be exceptional as well. Can't wait to dive deeper into their menu and would highly recommend to others.

Women-owned and operated, and you can truly feel the heart behind everything they do. We started with the roasted beet salad -- light, fresh, and the perfect opening for what was to come. Then the feast began....elote, cajun lime BBQ wings, mussels, tuna tostadas, chicken taquito, carne asada taco, and pernil with rice & beans... and WOW. Every single dish had its own unique flavor that kept me wanting more. * The elote was seasoned perfectly * Wings were crispy and literally finger-lickin' good * Mussels came in a rich, delicious Cajun cream sauce * Tuna tostada had a delicious soy-sesame glaze * Chicken taquito = crisp perfection * Carne asada taco cooked perfectly * Pernil with rice and beans was a perfect marriage of flavors To finish it all off was churro bites which was the sweetest ending. I also had a classic margarita which was fantastic. Service was just as impressive as the food...waters were never empty and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They even provided us wet-naps after both the elote and wings. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for taking such great care of our private party!

We sat in their insulated outdoor area amidst string lights and beachy vibes, and every meal starts out with their addicting tortilla chips and salsa verde. (Pro-tip -- save some of this green salsa to have with whatever you order!) We tried their chicken flautas appetizer, and if you are a fan of all that is cheesy and crispy, you will definitely enjoy this one. My favorite item on the menu was next -- the Crunch and Munch ground beef taco -- this literally was an elevated version of Taco Bell's cheesy Gordita crunch, and it made me super happy. We also shared their shredded beef burrito (think barbacoa), which was a Saturday special, but honestly, any of their burritos would be worthwhile. (I dare say that the burritos also feel kind of light? They are not over-the-top in the best way possible!) If you're looking for a casual taco spot after a day at Robert Moses or Overlook Beach (or any day, really), definitely check this place out -- you will fall in love after the first flavorful bite.

Everything had that fresh, made to order feel that immediately sets the tone for a great meal. The place was booming and the staff was so welcoming! The fish taco really stole the show. The batter on the fish was light, crisp, and perfectly golden. None of that heavy, greasy coating you sometimes get. It had a really clean crunch that let the fish itself shine, and every bite tasted fresh and beyond flavorful with the cabbage and crema on top. The carne asada mulitas were just as impressive. Rich, savory, and layered with flavor, with that perfect combo of melted cheese and grilled meat tucked into the house made tortillas. And the drinks tied everything together. The margaritas were super fresh and well-balanced, especially the spicy piña. No pre-made sour mix or after taste! You could tell everything was made with real ingredients bright, refreshing, and just the right kick of heat to keep it interesting. Overall, it was the perfect Cinco de Mayo stop! Great energy, fresh food, and standout flavors across the board. I will definitely be a regular here!
