Been using this Ruby's location for over 20 years. Unfortunately the service at this location has continued to decline over the past 8 years. We still use out of convenience but their rating that was near a 5 star is currently around a 3 read more

Terrible and very expensive dry cleaners! Over $100 for just 8 pieces of everyday clothing. We thought with these high prices we will at least get good service, boy we were wrong! My husband's white shirt csme back with a black smug on his collar (which was not there before dry cleaning!) and my black skirt came back with white fuzzy stuff all over it, same thing with our dark color sweaters!! If you value your clothes stay away from this place, we will never go there again. read more

They lost a garment (men's suit) and have not done anything to find it or to compensate for it. We have returns the incorrect suit to them and have requested at least 4 times for the status of it and they haven't even looked for it. read more

They say you can have things done quickly, done well, or done cheap; at Ruby's, they keep prices competitive, return cleaning in 2-3 days, and give every garment personal attention. You won't find a better dry cleaner in the city! read more

My wife and I have used Ruby's for the past 2 years. We've been very happy with the quality of the cleaning our clothes, including getting spots out. (Haven't tried it for bedding etc.). I've also had good quality results from the seamstress who works there. read more

They lost a 500 suit gave us the wrong one which we returned over a month ago. They still had made no efforts to locate the suit that belongs to us. Multiple trips to the store and employees were not helpful read more

Very friendly staff. Great service, on time, great quality, and reasonable prices. Great cleaning.

They do not fold clothes correctly and handle some items poorly. They also misplace items and include items of others.

I just used ruby's for the first time and had the best possible experience. My goose down comforter needed cleaned and I brought one of my husbands suits as well. Normally it takes two weeks for a comforter but I explained that I was giving birth any day and they got it done for me in one day no extra charge. They were kind and did the best job, both items look and smell amazing and I will be back! read more

Not sure why this place has such poor reviews. They cleaned my sports coats very well. They were nice and helpful and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back. read more

I took a new suit for the it's first dry cleaning ... Ruby's burnt a hole through the jacket when pressing and then charged me for the (shoddy) repair. And with a dose of attitude at the register. What a terrible place. read more

I won't go here ever again. Rude employees, terrible customer service, and honestly, a very average dry cleaning job at that. Go elsewhere.

Ruby's damaged a drape panel I took in for dry cleaning. They minimally reimbursement me for the 1 damaged panel. But I have to buy new drapes because the other three panels don't match if I replace the damaged 1. So I had to pay to have 3 panels cleaned I can't use and purchase 4 new curtains. They won't compensate you for damages they cause. I wouldn't use them again. read more

The good: The ladies who run the registers are personable and helpful. Also, if you live in the area, it's certainly convenient. The alterations are well done. The bad: Their alterations manager won't give you an estimate for the work before he does it. Not even a ballpark. So basically, you drop your clothes off, cross your fingers, and hope for the best. Expect the work (even something simple like hemming) to take more than a week, and cost a fair amount. In summary: Good work, friendly but slow service, expensive. If it weren't so convenient I doubt I'd go back. read more

Ruby's Cleaners sucks! I took a bridesmaid dress to be cleaned there. I was told it would be ready by Wednesday. When I went on Wednesday it wasn't ready. OK, no big deal. They assured me it would be ready by Thursday as I had to leave PA the next day/Friday to wear this dress IN a wedding. I showed up on Thursday and they still did not clean the dress!? The lady behind the counter was apathetic at best. Will not be returning ever again. read more

I've been using this place for 5+ years because it is close to my home, but NO MORE. They have now lost clothing three times, and I've had to fight that I in fact brought it in each time. Always require a drop off receipt from these crooks. Now, for the second time, they have returned a suit jacket to me with broken buttons and a tag that says something like 'broken' on it! Ruby's broke them during cleaning, but neither offered to fix nor reimbursed me for the break. The rude counter people actually gave me the estimate of what their tailor would charge to fix their error for me! I actually laughed in their faces, as did the gentleman behind me, before he turned around and took the clothing he was going to drop off out with him. They have lost a customer who does many hundreds of dollars in cleaning yearly. read more

Wait, do I have to give at least one star? Because I'd like to give a zero star review, please. I brought a purse to Ruby's to be cleaned over a month ago. Apparently, because 2.3 inches of it had suede it had to be "shipped out" for cleaning somewhere where they specialize in cleaning leather...? Now, almost 5 weeks since drop-off, my purse is "missing". No apologies, no offer of any sort of compensation, not even a phone call to explain the situation- you're KIDDING ME, right??!? Now I get to sit back and *hope* that whoever they gave my purse to is honest enough to give it back...HA! Good one. This review is just step 1, my friends... read more

I have been a customer of Ruby's for many years and have always had excellent service and drycleaning. I have also had alterations done a few times and they have always done an excellent job. read more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I brought sheers to be cleaned and pressed! I was given a ready date two weeks out...for being 6 panels I didn't question the length of time it would take. I returned on the date I was given to receive my now clean sheer panels, only to be told they were not ready and that they hadn't even started on them. I asked to speak to a manager. The woman I was dealing with with the attitude happened to be the manager...imagine that! She told me that the date provided isn't guaranteed! Then why give a date of completion? I then asked to speak with the owner! I was again given an attitude and an eye roll She did call the owner and he said to give me a $5.00 discount and promised they would be done by morning! Went in to pick up my sheers to be told once again they weren't ready. I waited bc at this point I'm beyond mad that once again was given attitude from both the manager and the woman at the register! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN read more

Way too pricey. And they don't own up to their own mistakes. I can buy a new dress shirt each time if I avoid going here - seems like a better deal to me. read more

Finally had enough after weekly visits for five years. DON'T GO HERE! Consistently late. Damaged clothes. I get the location is close but it is not worth the grief. I will never go again. read more

This place has been literally my worst experience in customer service and overall quality. I purchased a $550 Harley Davidson leather jacket and it has cream sleeves with a black vest. I took it to Ruby's thinking that a professional dry cleaner would just take good care of it for me as it was about to sit all winter and I didn't want the leather to crack or have stains. Well when I picked it up, it was so much worse than when I took it. There were stains all over the white sleeves that weren't there before. (Trust me, I took and have tons of photos before and after.) Further, the black portion was so faded it looked like it had almost been painted a white color over the black. It was horrible. Mind you, I paid $50+ for my jacket to get ruined. I of course took it back to see what could be done. They send it off again to get it "refinished." Great, let's try again what have I got to lose the jacket is already ruined, right? I was to pick it up on 1/22. Mind you, I went yesterday, 1/26, and they said it wasn't there. I said excuse me? You may want to double check. They double checked and what do you know it's there. Then they say they can't give it to me yet because the girl who handles leather cleaning is backed up and hasn't entered it into the computer yet. Excuse me? I gave them an extra FOUR DAYS to enter whatever they needed to do. I said nope, sorry, it's going home with me I do not have time to come back here because you are delayed. Doesn't end there. I take it out of the bag and inspect it at home. What do you know? The refinishing is peeling off the back and I can see the ruined jacket stain underneath. This place is hell. It really is. I wouldn't ever recommend anyone going here and I mean that with every bone in my body. read more

Disappointed! I requested that a pair of pants be done by a certain time, which the woman marked on my ticket and assured me was attainable. My husband and I showed up 20 min after the time they told me I could pick up the pants and they said it would be another 10 min. We came back 20 min later and they said it would be another 9 min. We ended up being late for a memorial service. Regardless of what we were late for, we will not go back. read more

This is the WORST dry cleaner I have ever seen. The first time I took clothes there they lost 2 items and pressed a pair of silk pants incorrectly and ruined them. They showed no concerned and offered no compensation at all. I didn't frequent them for 3 years. This past week I tried them again. I went in to pick up my clothes at the appointed time and once again: they have lost two items and pressed an extremely expensive pair of linen pants incorrectly. Neither the clerk NOR the manager in the central office expressed concern or remorse. I will NEVER frequent them again and strongly advise against taking your business there. Poor service, cavalier attitude and they seem to think it is no big deal to simply lose and damage clothes. read more
