Found these cleaners when I started working downtown Pittsburgh in the Cultural District. They will pick up and drop off your dry cleaning at your work, which is sooo convenient! I just text them when I have dropped off my red bag of dirty laundry with the front desk. They come pick it up and drop off last week's laundry all dry cleaned. FABULOUS! Dropped clothes off and needed then returned in a rush, and for a small *and fair* "rush fee" I got my large drop off back the next day. And they delivered to my hotel!! My only issue: detergent scent Way Too Strong. Use unscented soaps to accommodate sensitive skin and noses. read more

After struggling to find a reliable dry cleaner that won't lose items, or write on the inside of your clothing as a means of identification, I finally came upon Strong II Dry Cleaners located downtown at Grant and 3rd. This is a very new location and they are still working out some issues as far as getting their POS systems up and running (using monthly invoices sent via email for the time being), but I really can not say enough about how excellent the customer service is, how friendly the employees are, and how great the quality of the dry cleaning is. Let them know how you would like your items cleaned, alert them to any stains or spots you might think will be a problem, and your clothing will be well cleaned and well taken care of. If you work anywhere near here downtown, I highly recommend giving them a try. read more

Lipstick disaster!!! After leaving a tube of lipstick in my work clothes, I had expensive dresses, blouses, and sheers that were completely matted in bright pigmented lipstick. I immediately ran to cvs... spent 50 dollars on every spot removal, oxiclean, dawn dish soap, toothbrushes and rewashing the clothes, you name it... I tried everything. I still couldn't fix it myself. I called Justin and he offered to take a look with his team. Everything came out SPOTLESS and FANTASTIC. I couldn't believe it. I honestly thought I was going to have to throw out my new clothes. Customer service is amazing. It is always easy to reach someone and everyone is truly kind. Justin is a great business owner and truly cares about his work. Prices are cheap for the quality work. A Pittsburgh gem. Best dry cleaners I've ever used. read more

I had my dresses altered here. The tailor lady done a good job. A little pricy for the work that I've asked for tho. The underarm area needs to be tighten for about an inch on both sides. It was $15 per dress. Not sure how much other stores charges but I was in a rush to have it done and the store is close to my office so I just had them worked on them. The staffs were nice and friendly, they answered every question patiently. read more

I took my dry cleaning here on Monday and it was done promptly on Wednesday. They were super friendly both times I went in. The front door is a little weird and has a steep drop so be careful, but otherwise this is such a convenient downtown dry cleaners. I felt like they had good, fair pricing and great customer service. read more

I don't usually go to dry cleaners so I don't really have a point of reference for what I'm looking for (I did, however, avoid a few places in Pittsburgh of which I read truly unsettling reviews) but my three coats came out fresh and clean and where lovingly wrapped and grouped together. Pricing wasn't bad (~$28 for three coats) and I got a discount for paying when I dropped them off. The customer service was great and as a petite woman lugging three winter coats out of a little shop downtown with a few steps to walk up, the door was held for me as I happily went on my way. The downtown location is also convenient to my location in Bloomfield via the Strip. Five stars because I have a fresh new start to the winter season, the customer service was great, and I think Strong II is a business we Pittsburghers should all support! read more

Strong II Dry Cleaners provides excellent, quality service; it's unmatched! I have taken several articles of clothing to them, all with outstanding results. White shirts are returned sparkling white and suit pants have a perfect crease (have paid top $ at other places to have a double, unsightly crease!) Their stain removal is amazing; I had 2 articles that I thought were ruined, but now they look brand new. Their prices are comparable or less than other places I've gone, but if you pay in advance, you get a 10% discount! 3 different individuals have taken care of me at the Grant Street location; all a pleasure to deal with...so glad they opened downtown! Great location and even better service while staying in Downtown Pittsburgh! I stay downtown Pittsburgh on union (USW) business for weeks at a time and like anyone else, I need to have my clothes cleaned. I found Strong II online and it was just down Grant Street from the Omni William Penn hotel where we stay. The Employees at the store were first class and very helpful as well as very polite. I had four shirts that needed dry cleaned and pressed as well as about fifteen pounds of laundry which I needed washed and folded. I dropped my clothes off on Tuesday and they had it all done on Thursday afternoon, they said if I needed it done sooner, they may be able to do that as well. They send all laundry off site to their main laundry plant. The clothes came back perfectly cleaned. The dry cleaned shirts looked great and the wash and fold service was better than my wife does and she's the best. The cost was much cheaper then doing the wash and fold myself at a laundromat. Dry cleaning cost was very reasonable as well. I've recommended them to the group I'm working with and will use them again while in Pittsburgh. As a side note: I went home for the weekend and didn't bring home any laundry and the wife was very grateful ;-) read more
