I have come here for years and without exception, my car is meticulously cleaned inside and out! They take around 20 min so it can be a bit of a wait when there is a line of cars. But it is worth every penny. Carpets are put through beaters to get the dirt and dust off, car is hand washed outside and the inside is completely cleaned including all windows and interior of trunk is vacuumed. There is an option of getting tire rims cleaned or dash. The car looks brand new after coming here for cleaning service. I noticed a couple of low ratings from last year. Are those people competitors or something. I sit and watch the cars get washed as I'm waiting for mine. I have never seen a lax job ever! This is my go to place. read more

This was my first visit to their facility. I arrived just before lunch and was able to pull directly into the first bay for the wash. They exercised extreme care on the wash of my car since it has a protective wrap on the front end of the vehicle. In and out in 15 minutes. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I was able to wait in a very nice and clean rest area that allows for proper social distancing. After reading a couple of reviews, I brought cash to pay for the wash but they do accept credit cards. This place is fantastic. Been here twice now and shocked both times at how thoroughly they cleaned our large-size SUV. Comparable to places that are 4 times the price. The guys are so nice and the owner seems grateful for the business. Sure, there isn't any free coffee or an enclosed waiting room. They started washing my car right away and when I paid, the guy at the window explained the difference between the packages and charged me less for the size of my car for being my first time. Came here by chance trying to avoid traffic on the way back from Ohare. The hood and roof of my car were filthy with bird droppings and they cleaned everything right up! I checked out Ruby Hand Carwash for this first time this past weekend and was absolutely satisfied. Suffice it to say that only a crazy woman ventures to the car wash on a Saturday afternoon in Chicago when it's 75 degrees outside! There was a long line to get inside Ruby's but I figured this meant it would be worth the wait and they didn't disappoint. I think my entire experience lasted an hour (from the time I entered the line until when I drove off) but once they began working on my car it was only 20 minutes or so. There were 4 gentleman working - 2 handling the exterior and 2 working on the interior - and they managed to be efficient and thorough despite the long line. They accept all forms of payment but prefer to take tips in cash. The only thing I wish they offered was free fragrance for the car but ya can't have it all in this world so I won't hold it against them. Definitely support this business. read more

I used to love this place. I haven't gone lately because of the carjacking. It made me nervous. i went today and the service was just ok. They didn't actually scrub my rubber weather tech mats.They sprayed them with water so they still have salt all over them. I saw another guy washing another man's. I also was upset they didn't vacuum, they used an air compressor but I still have lots of debris on my seats.They didn't actually wash the dash and just wiped a dirty rag over it so it is still dirty same with doors. Usually owner is there and makes sure they do great. I wasn't happy at all and wish they did better. read more
