I rarely leave bad reviews but I had to share my experience. Geez where do I start from how…read moreterrible they are? Not only are there electronics always broken but upon checking my bank statements from last year, I found Pirate studios double charged me and did not give me my money back after I booked a room in another country by mistake. And I called back RIGHT AWAY when I realized I didn't book the Brooklyn location for help. It also doesn't help that their website to simply book a room is confusing lol filled with extra unnecessary steps to book a room which lead to the mistake. When I wanted to book a new room in the correct location I suggested they credit what I spent towards the Pirate studios to my Brooklyn location since it's all one company (which could've easily been done by their ("security team") but they were not only rude, they were unhelpful. So I had to rebook the bk room and call my bank to make sure the charge for the other room didn't go through. Still went and patronized their business because I really needed a rehearsal space at certain timing. At this time I'm thinking they only charged me for the BK room and eventually things would get rectified after speaking to my bank. But it wasn't. The charge was reversed which I recently found out about. Also recently I find out I'm banned from their studio for "fraud" and I never did fraud in my life. On top of this, when you go there, as I mentioned before half the instruments are missing and/or not working properly neither was their amps but I still rehearsed there because AGAIN I needed a space as I was on time constraints. They don't have a keyboard in their locations because of past theft when I asked, which is weird lol. Every other studio I go to has all the instruments and make it convenient for musicians to rehearse. I would NEVER recommend Pirate Studios to anyone EVER. I HIGHLY recommend Red Note Studios which make it a breeze to book to peacefully rehearse and Red Note also has all the instruments at their location. BOOK AT RED NOTE STUDIOS!
