My visit to the production space was marred by the unsatisfactory performance of a specific worker named Olga. While the rest of the team displayed commendable professionalism and skill, Olga's conduct fell short. Her lack of attention to detail resulted in errors that affected the overall quality of the production process. Communication with Olga was challenging, and it seemed like she wasn't fully invested in ensuring a smooth workflow. This lack of engagement had a noticeable impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Despite the positive efforts of her colleagues, Olga's subpar performance overshadowed an otherwise stellar group. Moreover, her attitude towards problem-solving was unhelpful. When issues arose, Olga failed to address them proactively, leading to unnecessary delays and frustration. This contrasted sharply with the proactive and solution-oriented approach of the other team members. In conclusion, the experience was disappointing due to Olga's underwhelming contributions. I have been shooting at this space for a long time and have enjoyed every single shoot that I have done there, the staff is very friendly and an overall super professional crew. Olga, who is one of the staff members, is very knowledgeable, and helpful should you need anything while creating your project. FD Studio Astoria is absolutely my favorite location to shoot at in the NYC area, and is one of the reasons that they will always have my business. The studios also have great daylight. I like coming to Astoria location because it has multiple rooms with different themes. Each side of the building will give you a different natural light (my favorite is #8 with a cyc wall) as well as they have two blackout studios. If you are new to the studio lighting equipment they have a person working upfront who can guide you. I was assisted by Olga and my session went pretty smooth. There were also multiple colors of backdrops available in the lobby and it was $10. I wish they had Mylar Film for purchase because we had to bring our own. But generally speaking this studio is very clean and affordable. read more

I've had nothing but great experiences with FD Astoria. They've been there to accommodate my creative needs no matter how last minute. Also they have a studio to fit any creative need Not to mention equipment. I've been blessed to be able to create some priceless pieces of art in these studios. I started using FD Studios a few years back and I am genuinely impressed with how this location has changed since 2021..?. They have themed rooms now and more equipment available for clients. Their front desk admins are the most helpful if you have any questions about anything. I have to highlight their manager Olga because she's simply the best. I recommend all artist to come to this location it's a fairly new space but the prices are amazing. Olga is a great host at this location. Accommodates well to whatever you need. Very good studio spaces at reasonable prices. I'm a photographer based in Brooklyn and I've work here several times already, always a great experience. The employees are really nice and helpful, specially Olga, which is usually who helps me with everything I need.
