The woman gave me the run down on ancillary services that may come into play, like catering & security staff, fine, but when I asked about basic rental fee for the space she launched into this script on "well, they are different fees for different types of events like editorial shoots are one price while other events may differ in price". Um, thanks bc I just gave you the specifics on the event I'm planning, maybe we can focus on the costs associated with that type of event? She was clearly attempting to evade price information (why I'm uncertain) so I frustratingly just ended the circular conversation.

We used the space for wedding photos, and here is why we loved it:…read more - The space is gorgeous and absolutely unique. There are so many set pieces to choose from and options of photo backdrops - The studio owner, Adam was very understanding and accommodating when it came to several of our special needs when it came to the time that we needed at the studio. We explained the look that we were going for and by the time we got to the studio Adam had everything set up the way we discussed. We were even welcome to come the day before to set-up but had no time to do so. - Communicating with Adam was very easy, he was receptive of all our photographer's questions and worked closely with her to make sure all the lighting etc was set up perfectly. - We had a long wedding day and by the time we got to the studio the whole wedding party was hungry so Adam facilitated a food order while we were busy shooting Overall we had a terrific experience!

We used the studio a few months back for a home interiors photo shoot, and most recently for an immersive, themed carnival event--which was absolutely perfect in the space with the carousel horses, and the victorian-style lamps and furniture, all available as props, free of charge. Things that are worth mentioning about the space: -Makeup table with large mirror, good bar stools with backs, clamp-on light source, plenty of outlets -Wheeled garment rack + standard garment steamer -Kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, bar/counter space for food, large sink -Decent sized bathroom, large enough for changing -Costume closet available upon request -Autopoles with several different seamless options -Large windows in front, so very good daylight, but no means of blacking out windows if needed. Recommend shooting at night if that's what your lighting calls for. -It is a large, raw, warehouse space, so expect the floors to be dusty/unfinished. I believe Adam has alternate flooring options, would need to ask. -Air conditioning, ceiling fans, heat, wifi Versatile space, laid-back host, will definitely book again and highly recommend.

I am doing some freelance work for a production company and they are utilizing the massive and…read morepretty darned awesome Parlay Studios as their studio set and temporary office space. Overall this appeared to be a giant warehouse and when I asked more about the facility was told it used to be a storage company. The video is being shot in a sizable room (of which there are a few others) while we are working with the crew and office team in a different space that we have all to ourselves. This allowed us to remain closer to the video crew and talent. I can say that there are also smaller cubicle sized office segments in another section for remote work and meetings but those were all occupied by different clients and the team I was with was very mobilized. Ample parking is available in a connected garage and there are other sections of the building where load-in of larger gear can be done. There is a provided WiFi signal throughout the entire building but each has a section based on their size. As I explored I saved every signal since my work involves me walking around and I didn't want to be offline a second. While most productions have their own catering brought in Parlay does have a small coffee shop where patrons can order a beverage. This cafe is not complimentary though to my knowledge. It is a very well lit space as well which is good for productions that prefer natural light on set. There is also a kitchen area if you need a microwave or refrigerator and washer for items on your set. A pleasant bonus and hey, they have the room so why not. There are plenty of bathrooms and they are quite clean. Another bonus IMHO. The staff of the studio was excellent from the front desk to management that we encountered and while I don't see myself being here as a client filming or recording, I encourage those in my media world to look into it if they require such things. There is branded swag around the facility like pads and pens which I asked to take along with me since I always need that but I didn't see any smaller hand-sanitizers with their branding. Nowadays this is never a bad thing to have on hand for people. I can't quote prices but I am sure they are worth it based on observations. If this kind of place is what your ideas need to be manifested in the real, give them a call. Safety Precautions: All visitors must have their temperature checked and wear a wristband to enter and masks are a must wear situation no matter your vaccination status. If you don't like either of these things you are not getting into the facility.

It's spacious for any event and can be transformed into anything. The large screen can take you from Brooklyn to Paris with the click of a few buttons and there's enough space to spread out all of your guests. Unfortunately the "party planner" from Brikevents let me down. I found out that he hadn't even put a deposit of the venue a week before it was supposed to take place. To top it off the "party planner" was not forthcoming with information or a refund. I called the venue and met with the owner and the studio director. Stephano and Helene are angels. They tried their best to help me knowing that I had a huge issue with budget due to being ripped off. I would recommend this venue not only because of their kindness but because of how beautiful it is. I plan on renewing my vows here when the time is right. If you have any doubts brush them off, this would be the best place to go with. They also have connections to any services you may need to make an event happen and go off with out a hitch. In our last minute attempts to make the event go off they were able to come up with a lot of options at the last minute. Again, I thank you guys for everything. My event was unable to happen because the "party planner" was unable to give me my funds and informed me that he spent them on an event unrelated to mine. But I know that despite how last minute it was had we gotten all the money back it would've been beautiful as I have actually been there during set up for two different events and was wowed each time. Thank you guys for everything. I will deff be back to utilize your services again.
