I can't say enough good things about Gabriel's professionalism, talent, reasonability, personality, etc. My daughter & I were visiting family in NJ from the Gulf Coast. She's been obsessed with NYC for years and wanted to take her senior photos there. I scoured Yelp & Google reviews, sites, interacted with maybe 10 or so photographers. I'm so thankful we chose Gabriel. Although I wanted outdoor photos, because it was windy, Gabriel got in as many outdoor shots as he could and then suggested we move indoors so I could really get the results I was looking for. After moving indoors, he made sure I had a full session with enough options to really make the session worth it for me. He's someone who truly cares about your experience. He was personable, accommodating, and genuinely a great person to hang out with for a couple hours. Because of his background in acting and his experience helping actors with their tapes, he knows how to help you relax and feel comfortable in your own skin in front of the camera. I went to this small theatre to watch Buddha - Triumph & Tragedy. The play was written & performed…read moreby Evan Brenner. Unfortunately, my friend & I arrived about 15 minutes late, but a nice attendant escorted us to the showroom & found us 2 empty seats rather quickly. The theatre holds about 30 or so people. I love these small joints! There were a bunch of lights along the top of cieling, but a small ledge that would be considered the stage. This is a perfect spot for one-man shows, which this play was. I actually enjoyed the performance & was still able to totally get the story even though I was a bit late. Check it out @ thebuddhaplay.com. The basic metal seats were alligned in such a way that all would get a decent view of the performer & the room was neat & clean. There was an elevator to get you to the 3rd floor showroom & I was glad for it b/c the stairs were super steep. All in all, this is a cool little spot to watch a small, cozy performance.
