Came here for a wedding, not sure if the crew and/or food is handled by the venue, but I had a good time. The venue space sells itself, it's nice inside and especially out. It's a modern open space that looks great. Good: -The views outside of Manhattan from the patio is beautiful -There are two levels to the patio, a smaller one by the doorway, and a lower/larger patio for background pictures -Inside I think there is seating for 80-100 people Bad: -Noticed some garbage and scraps from previous events there. -Parking can be...scarce in Williamsburg Brooklyn. read more

This is one of the most gorgeous venues in the city and was the perfect spot for our wedding! The booking process was extremely smooth and the whole BK Venue team was easy to work with. We were able to schedule multiple tours between when we signed and the day of the event to take photos, show vendors, and sketch out floor plans. BK Venues was extremely responsive to every question I had. On the day of the event, the venue let us in by 11am. One of the best parts about this venue is how customisable it is! We were able to fully create the day we wanted. All of our guests loved this venue as well. The patio had spectacular views of Manhattan, and inside the floor to ceiling windows showed views of the city as well. There are two small getting ready suites in the basement level that lock. We had a larger bridal party, so we got ready elsewhere but the rooms downstairs were perfect for us to put our personal belongings during the event! W Loft was the perfect backdrop for our wedding and I would recommend it to anyone looking to host an event! read more

This will be our wedding venue next June, the views are just spectacular.. part of the reason why we chose this venue. An absolutely beautiful venue for a smaller wedding.. I would say no more than 80-100 people would be great for the size. The venue has two outdoor areas, so it's possible to have everything all in one (as we are doing). Not to mention the communication between the staff is wonderful, a very responsive team. I don't think I ever had to wait more than an hour for a response. Can't wait for our big day. read more

How can I forget to review this place? Lol. I was here for an event last year which was lots of fun. The venue has a lovely, panoramic rooftop setting. Glass walls creates the interior along with access to a large, patio space to view skyline and get fresh air. It's a very spacious and attractive venue. The staff keeps this venue clean after each event and presentable for the next occasion. Parking is horrible as well. I don't believe there was a parking lot available in the area so the use of public transportation might be suggested. But yeah, I would come back if there were other events. Views! I visited the w loft with the full intent of this would be my wedding venue. Though the space is BEAUTIFUL to me it screams birthday or engagement party. My count is roughly 130 and though there is an outdoor space, I like to plan for a possibility of inclement weather, So it wouldn't work for me. But smaller weddings and functions would be great here. To give it more of a wedding vibe, I think the space needs a little more decor than the other two bk venues I visited. This space better for other events, a wedding... it depends how it's decorated. The outdoor space is HUGE! Pretty much the same as the inside and the views can't be beat! There is a major con tho. Street Parking is the worst here than their other locations. I'm not sure if there is a garage located near, but if not advise guest to take a cab or pay for valet service. read more

This place has potential to be good summer outside party spot. But for a catering party spot it is absolutely TERRIBLE. My family paid between $10000-$15000 to rent this spot for a birthday party. The venue had a decent decor. We had almost 50 ppl, they supplied us with about 12 cups for drinks, no utensils for the cold food they supplied. There were no servers so we had to get our own cold food. The venue said OPEN BAR... I guess that meant the 3 contains of lemonade they supplied. For this amount of money it was definitely a rip off.. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! read more

I had my wedding at the W Loft this past Monday (10/10/16). The space is great and my guests were all amazed by the city views. We were lucky with the weather, beautiful sunshine and a perfect NYC sunset, which of course helps. The catering staff and rentals were through a third party, Creative Foods Catering (see my yelp review from them also), who have worked at the space before so they didn't have any issues. Adam and the rest of the venue personnel were quick to respond to emails and allowed us to view the premises several times to take measurements and set things up. Overall it was a great venue if you're looking for incredible views with inside and outside space. read more

The perfect venue for a destination wedding in New York !! Located in the lovely neighborhood of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, right next to the East River, you have the most wonderful view of the Manhattan skyline especially at night, it is truly magical. We got married there in May with our friends and family from around the world and they looooved the view !!! The space is modern, spacious, full of light and the double terrace is so huge, everyone enjoyed it all day, it was so unique for our guests to attend a wedding with such a view of NYC ! The W Loft was exactly the venue we were looking for to plan our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and our indoor reception with an amazing view, and an affordable price (same cost for wedding or birthday party, only depends on the day). You will need to bring all your vendors since it is a blank space but at least you have the choice to do something really personal and fitting your budget. This an excellent venue with beautiful views. I have visited for an event a couple times so far. I am impressed with the space. The space is excellent for both eating, drinking and dancing as there are ample space. I am grateful for the coat check area as it did not as if there was one upon my previous visit. The restroom are ornate and well lit. Overall, I suggest it for well organized, invite only events. read more

This venue books late parties any night of the week, and does nothing to be a "good neighbor" in the process. For years, they've had no sound control in the venue itself and drunken fights break out after the events at all hours. I'm not sure what security they provide or recommend, if any, but at least once a week in their high season, there are screaming matches with breaking glass spilling out on Kent Ave. By contrast, other venues in the area are very aware of the homes nearby, booking at reasonable hours, with reasonable noise levels. read more

If you're looking for an affordable place with an exceptional view you've come to the right place. We just had our wedding here (7/29/17) and had an amazing experience. You have to know what you're getting into when looking for a wedding location. Do you want a full service venue or somewhere you can add your own touch? The W Loft is a great place for a DIY wedding as you need to hire third party vendors, but that allows you to do things your way. The venue is gorgeous. There is absolutely no denying it. You get views of the water, the city and bridges. The price is incredible, you can't beat it. People were literally in awe when they walked out to the patio where we held the ceremony. So many asked about the space after that night because it is fantastic. You can fit 80 inside, but more if you utilize the patio and rooftop. We comfortably fit 100 and used every little bit of the space. Just remember to have a rain plan because the outdoor area is the most amazing part of this place. I am certain everyone thinks we spent a lot more on our wedding than we did. The W Loft has a million dollar view without the price tag. My only complaint would be there's no wifi included (you have to pay extra for it), but hey if that's our only complaint it's not bad. We looooooved it here! People can't stop talking about their experience. There's no need to decorate if you don't want to, the views are the best decoration you could ask for. We had a beautiful night for our wedding. The W Loft is a stunning place to have any events overlooking the East River. They have a kitchen, bar, deck space and two changing rooms down stairs available to complete the entire experience. When the sun goes down the lights from Manhattan enhances the scenery for a near photoshopped like background. Definitely would recommend this place to others. read more

Got married here in August.. view is amazing and it's newly renovated but even with their air conditioning at full blast all of my guests were dripping sweat inside.. and the staff said that there was nothing that they could do. This place has hosted all kinds of sloppy parties, whose attendees spill out into the street leaving trash everywhere. They park in the bike lane, urinate on the sidewalks in the area and have zero respect for the neighborhood. The W Loft personnel have been unresponsive to the neighbors' overtures to come to an understand regarding noise and security. Consider this when you decide to do business with them. read more

We just had our son's bar mitzvah here in April 2016. They recently updated some features, so actually it was even better than our first look, when we booked. The view is amazing. The deck is now done over and new tiling make for an exceptional and budget worthy venue. They have recommended vendors, yet you can DIY as we did and all went fantastic. They were always prompt for response and viewing. We and our son were truly pleased! We live in Brooklyn, so it is wonderful to support our borough and not fall into the (often money) trap of Manhattan venues, which may have half an atmosphere. Bravo W Loft & many thanks! read more
