Here's why: 1) Space: The outside if unassuming, but once you go inside, you see each floor is one big open space. The building has several floors with fast elevators that take you between the floors. True to a NYC building, there's an amazing rooftop at the top making for a great cocktail reception space. 2) Food: Every meal was amazing starting with a feast of sliders. There were beef, crab, tofu, any type of slider for every diet and preference. Snacks were changed throughout the event from a pretzel wall to a donut wall. Better for you options included veggies and a pickle jar. The rooftop reception had bite sized appetizers from small hamburgers in a fancy black box to kebabs. Everything was so good! They also provided quality coffee throughout and Coca-Cola products. 3) Service: The staff clearly take their jobs seriously. They are hard working, not intrusive, and run the event so well. 4) Location: It's just south of Hell's Kitchen close to the Hudson River. Easy to walk to and/or take the subway. 5) Vibes: It's an industrial design with lots of open pipes, etc. It's very Instagram worthy! From my experience they give u an option to utilize more than one of their well decorated floors. The first event was on the fourth floor and guests later moved up to the rooftop. This most recent event on 4/15/22 took place von the fourth floor. Guests later moved onto the fourth floor for the dancing and partying side of the event. We served passed horderves on both floors. We stopped by with no schedule to see the space and asked if Olga was there just to see if she could give us more detail. When she finally came out, she had such an attitude that we were there without scheduling an appointment. My cousin apologized about 3 times for not making an appt in advance and also said if it was a problem we could come back another time. Olga said no its ok... but brought up the fact that we didn't schedule anything over and over again (while rolling eyes and having a nasty tone in her voice). She was not informative and seemed annoyed the entire time. She made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. The guest there were much nicer than she was. And we were technically in a church, how are you going to be so angry and judgmental in a CHURCH?! FYI, the professional thing to do is say you're unable to show the space (though there wasn't much to see) at that time and you're sorry for mishap but you're glad to show it to us another time and offer to schedule something! When you take the elevator up, you walk into a small area (was used for self check-in with a table for nametags) and a coat rack. From there, you walk down a long hallway lined with workspaces and small conference rooms on each side, along with additional space for coat racks, before it opens up into the main event area. The main space has an industrial-chic feel, with a few couches and chairs, small tables, a TV, and a larger kitchen area. The bathroom is toward the back of the space, and there is also a larger patio/rooftop area. Given the cold temperature, we did not spend much time outside, but it would be great to take advantage of in warmer weather. I liked the interior design overall, but once the event filled up (I would estimate it can comfortably hold about 40-50 people inside), it became extremely loud, as there is not much in terms of sound absorption. That said, it is a cool, versatile space with a lot of potential, and I would definitely keep it in mind for future events, especially in the warmer months when the outdoor area can be used.

Offsite - A Great Spot for Any Meeting or Event!…read more I've used Offsite twice now for company meetings, and it's been a fantastic experience both times. The space itself is really versatile, with multiple levels that give you different vibes for each part of your event. The first time, we had a smaller meeting for about 15 people, and the second time, we used it for a larger group of 35. For our most recent meeting, we took advantage of all three floors, which worked perfectly for different types of meetings. We were able to mix things up throughout the day, and then finished with a great happy hour. The main floor was transformed into a stylish cocktail lounge, which was a great way to wrap up the day. Shaun is always a pleasure to work with--he's super accommodating and makes sure everything goes off without a hitch. The staff is also fantastic, and really attentive to our needs. I'm already planning our next meeting at Offsite, and I look forward to working with them again.
