My husband and I had a great jazz night here! We had bar seating with a window that had a lovely view of downtown and our seats were right in front of willy jones III, the drummer! The server was kind and refilled my Diet Coke multiple times. The food was also yummy, I got the burger and fries. No complaints at all.

This is a beautiful club and restaurant that is part of Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. The fried chicken was pretty good and a decent portion too. My wife got the burger. The view is amazing, and Willie Jones III and his jazz quintet swung so hard I lost track of time and space. You have to try this place!

{Overall: 4; Food: 3} Ambiance: 5; Service: 4 Dizzy's Club is such a fun experience in NYC. It's a great way to catch a jazz show in a setting that isn't too formal. The club is essentially a restaurant with a stage. There's both bar seating and table seating, which you choose when purchasing tickets. Tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis; we sat right in front of the stage. For the 7 pm show, doors open at 6 so you can be seated and order dinner. Guests were lining up as early as 5:45. The show itself was fantastic. We were so impressed by the musicians. The set was about one hour long. The food was okay. The menu is Southern-themed. We had the gumbo, which was good but underseasoned. The sides were a mixed bag: the Brussels sprouts were well-cooked but not as crispy as they could have been, the fries were solid, but the cornbread was hard and stale. All in all, a very fun night out in NYC. So worth it for the music!

We were wanting to check out a jazz club while in New York City and Dizzy's Jazz club in Lincoln Center kept coming up. Dizzy's Club offers live jazz performances with panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, a warm ambiance, and a delicious seasonal menu. So we decided to go to this location as they have a dinner service before the show and it was close to our hotel and Central Park. They had a 7 and 9 pm showing and we went to the earlier one. When you arrive at the building you take the elevator up to the 7th floor. You have the option to check your coat before entering the club where the hostess will seat you at a table in the dining area. The tables are set up right in front of the stage and there is a great view behind the stage. I started my meal with the High-Hat Hibiscus with Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Cointreau, Green Chartreuse, Hibiscus, Lime Juice, Mint. I was happy to see a cocktail with mezcal as this was not easy to find in NY. I enjoyed the cocktail so much that I had another. We ordered the roasted branzino for our entree that comes with Beurre rouge sauce confit potatoes and charred broccolini. I wanted to sub the confit potatoes for the crispy Brussel sprouts because I didn't want to have carbs which I was originally told by the waiter that it would not be a problem. Then she came back out and told me that they did not have enough to serve outside of what is served with the dinner entree. I did not understand this as it is offered as a side item on the menu. The manager came out to explain this to me but it was very disappointing after being told that it would not be an issue. I ended up getting the sweet potato gratin instead which actually turned out to be very good. The branzino was cooked with the skin on and was very flavorful with the beurre rouge sauce. I enjoyed the sides very much. Overall the food was better than I expected, however just didn't feel like a valued customer the way the Brussels sprouts were handled. Then had another issue when the hostess set two other people at our table that were strangers which would have been understandable except for the fact that there was an empty table right by us where they could have been seated. My suggestion would be to communicate this better or ask for customer preferences before just randomly seating people at a table with other patrons seated at it. The jazz band was very impressive with many talented musicians. They had instrument solos featuring some strong performances. For this price point, I felt like the Brussels sprout and seating issue diminished our overall experience.

Located on central park south (60th St), Dizzy's is a part of Jazz at Lincoln Center. A great location, with tables but also an extensive amount of bar seating. Not a bad seat in the house, near as I could tell. Full bar available as well as several appetizer, entree, and dessert items. Typical NY pricing for a live jazz show, plus a minimum for food and drink.

If you love Jazz as we do you must go to Dizzy's club. The food was a little pricey, but it's New York. What else would you expect! But that aside, we did 2 appetizers and they were very good. The music was awesome and our view of Central Park was beautiful. The wait staff were super friendly and very accommodating.

Great venue for live jazz! Free coat check! Entry was free with ticket stub from the Rose Hall Jazz Hall! One drink minimum. The staff at the door, the lobby, waiters, everyone was courteous and professional! The view of Broadway is awesome! The seating is first come, first choice. The acoustics was great! Great choice of beer, wine and cocktails! Service is also quick! While you are placing your order it appears the the bar staff is preparing and delivering your requested beverage! I would definitely come back! So relaxing and uplifting!

Came here for a concert during December on a weekday. To my surprise for a Monday night the place was pretty packed. The good: scenic location with nice views The not so good: the check-in should get with the times. Have actual tickets that can be scanned and two separate lines between coat check and check in, it wasn't a very long line but the time standing in line for a not long line was unnecessary. seating if you don't have a table is very awkward. You're required to spend + $ 22 on top of your ticket on food/drinks. So you're looking at $200+ might for 2 people. It's a limited menu, I got a burger and fries that I asked to be cooked medium rare and was well done and the fries were not to my liking with some of the potato skin on every fry. My husband's po boy was equally average. Trying to eat your food while watching the show is a pain because the table is behind you, on top of that I had waiters/waitresses constantly running into my leg. The concert itself, which was dubbed more of a holiday concert had very few holiday songs.

We had a spectacular evening at Dizzy's. We purchased tickets for a table in advance, otherwise it seems like if you try to buy the evening of, you won't have much luck. The venue is located on the 5th Fl of the shops at Columbus circle. There are special elevators to take you up to Dizzy's. You line up downstairs and one hour before the show you are permitted to head upstairs to begin the dinner service. Upstairs there is a coat check you can use. Then you are taken to your seat. The earlier you show up, the better chance for a good seat. We were seated in the front row right by the stage. Our server Eliana was great! We had a few drinks and some apps and an entree each. We shared a cheese plate and an apricots and arugula salad, plus the fried pickles! For an entree we each had the vegan jambalaya (it is the only vegan/vegetarian entree option). All food hit it out of the park. The drinks were good and not so strong (a good thing!). I had a gin fizz and a dizzy 75. My friend had an AM sour and a glass of Cabernet. The tables were spaced an appropriate amount apart so you did not feel like you were on top of people the whole night. Entertainment was spectacular! I wish the show was longer. There are two bathrooms in the club and at times a line did build up but it wasn't that long of a wait. Forgot to mention the best part -the incredible views all night long! You have a clear view looking out onto Columbus Circle all evening. This is truly one of those special NY venues that you must try. I'm sure any show would be great here.

What is there not to love about Dizzy's Club? World-class music in a beautiful space that also serves delicious food and drink! We bought our tickets on their website a few weeks in advance, and showed up early to wait on a short line to get in right as they opened to snag a good table. Little did we know we would score an amazing table right by the stage and next to the large windows overlooking Central Park. But honestly, there is no bad seat in the house!

Jazz at its best! New York City! A night at Dizzy's Club to see Helen Sung's Big Band play a tribute to Horace Silver on his birthday. Enjoyed a charcuterie board and some Prosecco as the jazz ensemble played to the delight of all in attendance. In addition, the club is located on Columbus Circle with a gorgeous view of Central Park and the afternoon skyline. Being a huge Jazz fan, this evening was a great alternative to the atmosphere of the U.S. Open, and having access to a music genre that isn't available on a grand scale in Southern California Great date place!

Me, my wife and our kids went to enjoy some jazz on our first night in New York. We reserved some bar seats for the 7:30 show. Rodney Whitaker & Friends put on a great performance The food and drinks were great. Both of our kids are musicians and I could tell they were having a great time.

Service was amazing. The music was brilliant. Atmosphere was light and fun. We had wine and the cheese board and cake and all were phenomenal. Totally the best thing we did while in the city for the weekend!

The location is prime, if you plan to take a car, remember this is NYC & traffic is bad. You can probably walk faster than a cab or car service. Especially during the month of December. NYC gets more visitors in December than all year long. The venue has 2 bathrooms for women which is not good, however worked for this crowd. Rooftop wedding in the heart of Manhattan with incredible views of St. Patrick's Cathedral & Rockefeller Center. What more could you ask for? It's makes for one incredible experience for not just the bride and groom, but for all of the guests who are always completely blown away. As close as it is to being perfect, there are few things to keep in mind: 1. If the weather doesn't cooperate (as it didn't during the wedding I shot there, when it rained right before the ceremony), the main garden does get quite soggy. It got bad enough that the bride had to walk around the guests via the outer walkway instead of through the middle. Definitely not the ideal way to make an entrance. 2. The inside is as simple as it gets, so it's really up to you(r planner) to make it something amazing. Basically, picture a clean, white room; a blank slate. If minimalism is your thing (as is with me), then you'll love it. Otherwise, plan to get creative! 3. Space. It's definitely not for large events. Even for smaller weddings, the cocktail hour gets quite cramped. But if you're planning on getting married here, you know that already. From a solely photographer's perspective, while it does make possible some absolutely stunning shots (one of my favorite images was taken here, which you can see in the Photos section), the size of the venue as well as the blank indoor space does limit how creative you can get. If you're looking to get a wide variety of photos, I'd highly suggest you stop by another location for or after the First Look and get portraits before heading to 620 Loft and Garden. If you're set on getting married here, a gallery of a real wedding from 620 Loft and Garden is up on my site, so feel free to check it out for some wedding ideas!

Every single room here is SO gorgeous, with furniture from some of the most luxurious brands in the world. As I walked through the rooms, I imagined what it would be like to live in a house like this, a life of luxury, with cocktails at 3 and constant dinner parties. And if you're one of the lucky few who can actually afford to live in a house like this, then the Holiday Home would serve as a life sized inspiration board for you... You get a catalog at the entrance and it serves as a reference to any piece of furniture displayed in the house. The designers themselves are also there in their respective rooms and are more than happy to talk to you about their work / offer to come design your house (if that's what you're looking for). It is a $35 entrance fee that goes towards the Breast Cancer Foundation, though, even if it didn't, so worth it getting to spend an afternoon in the shoes of an Upper East Sider. Lastly, everyone's so incredibly nice (you'd expect them to be snooty but there are absolutely no airs here), though, I would dress nice and perhaps not show up in sweats if I was gonna go. Haha.
