Got my nails done here. Very happy with my hands but unfortunately couldn't get my toes the color I wanted. I think the bottle was too old or lost its brush.( Hence why one star deducted, would only take half a star if the app would let me.) But besides that the service was really nice. The store didn't smell bad and the nail polish smell was at a minimum. Employees were very nice and professional. They were able to make me a same day appointment which was great. I went to this salon and had dip and pedicure. Pedicure was fine yet the dip set was peeling in an hour. Plus, the lady didn't place the dip correctly. I could see my nail. I went back to get it fixed and the lady left them worse than they were. Not only did she make me feel stupid in front of everyone, she was talking in her Vietnamese language about me with the other ladies. I do not recommend at all going to this place. From the moment I walked in I felt so relaxed. This place is gorgeous! I got the deluxe pedi with jello. It was AH-maxing!!!! The lady was very gentle. My pink shellac nails were painted to perfection. The owner is super-sweet and professional. She made sure that I was comfortable. My dip nails didn't even last a week before starting to peel up and snag on my hair. The pedicure was great and has lasted. the person who did my nails was too busy talking trash about my cuticles and obviously skipped a step in prepping my nails properly. I think 2 stars is being rather generous. I've been in the Houston area for 6 months and this is the third place I've tried. I now know I prefer the first place I've been to. I won't name names as this isn't the forum for it. I had a coupon, they were close to my home, I figured why not. NOW onto the review.... I went about an hour after they opened and was greeted nicely by one tech, the other looked bugged that her texting session was interrupted. This tech was the one that ended up doing my nails and not only did she not say two words to me the entire time, she never once made eye contact with me. I did a full set solar and a deluxe pedicure, it took over an hour and the ENTIRE time the two techs talked amongst themselves, and communicated with me via taps or yanks on my fingers and feet/calves. They were quite obviously discussing a fellow tech because anytime that tech came around they would sneak little giggles and then tell tell "shhh she's coming" look. That aside, I don't necessarily care to be chatty but have some decorum and personal touch. As for my nails, I prefer them short and thin. Well, they are short and thin is questionable. There was so much excess powder under on the underside that she had to grind down with an dremel and proceeded to burn me, and gave me a nice slice that bled, no apology, no nothing. Hurt like a SOB. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I paid, and left. This was on Thursday and by that evening a section she made TOO thin (did I mention before how uneven They were) chipped, and so I had to cut the whole nail down, then this morning another uneven section cracked and I had to cut it down. I left todsy for two weeks on a vacation and now I'm pretty sure my nails will not last that two weeks. I will NOT BE BACK. Maybe it was an off day for these two but I've had way better experience elsewhere to be treated with indifference and a crappy set of nails. read more

Well today very inconveniently for me their system was messed up when I walked in. They told me to wait at the end to punch in my number to add my points but I knew that with today's visit I had already collected 30 points. So, I got a lot of services and at the end when I am ready to pay I type in my phone number to add my visit to get my $30 off and the person in the desks tells me they just changed from 500 to 900 points. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly, however, I got shellac on my manicure and regular pedicure, and my manicure cracked within 24 hours, I went back to fix it and my nails, they were redone quickly and I could tell the lady was very upset that I came back to fix them, they are all broken and all cracked again within 24 hours of being fixed, not sure if it was the color I used that was expired or what, but for the price you pay here you can get way better quality on any other salon. I ended up paying $75 + $15 tip and I have to go and spend more money to get my nails redone somewhere else. read more

Went in today for a pedicure and there is a sign on the door that says "please present coupons before service". I had found the 30% off coupon in yelp. My friend and I who have frequented this establighment frequently asked for pedicures and i showed the coupon. Well, this created an uproar in the employees who a few minutes later came and told us that they were busy and asked if we would come back in an hour. I loved the idea of having this place so close to my home, so when my daughter in law came for a visit. My son treated us to manis and pedis, he even joined us for a pedi. The place was gorgeous and the front desk lady was very nice and polite. She informed us of a 30% special and we accepted the price. The person that helped me and my son, was terrible, they never once uttered one word to us, they just kept, grunting at us, and patting our feet whenever they wanted us to do something, we were all sitting next to each other. The lady helping my daughter in law was friendly and she asked my daughter in law when she wanted her to change feet or move. My son finished first and he went to the front and paid for all three of us, I didn't now this, he wanted to surprise me, he also included a tip. Well, when my daughter in law attempted to leave a tip, her lady, advised her my son had paid and my son had already tipped. My lady, had already pocked the tip from my son and myself. As for the quality of work, my mani and pedi were mediocre at best. I had to have them redone at another place on Mason in a couple of days. I was so disappointed, had been looking forward to having this place in our neighborhood. I had a couple of ladies have the same complaint, rudeness, change of price, quality of work subpar. I have been to numerous nail salons throughout the Katy area & this is by far the worst. I have never encountered such rude nail technicians in all my life. First of all when you walk in you are lucky if someone even greets you as they have no one stationed at the reception desk full time. Then, when you are acknowledged, they tell you it will be "10 minutes" which really means 20. I have actually seen them pull someone back, sit them in a pedicure chair for 10 minutes & then proceed to tell them they don't have time to do their nails & could they please come back! I figured after my experience there - I had a tech who was talking the whole time to other techs (not in English) & kept getting up to take other customers eyebrow waxes during my pedicure - I would give them another shot. Same thing happened the second time! I have never felt like such an inconvenience in my life & will not be going back. read more

My sister and I had mani/pedi appointments today and were very disappointed in the service, the rudeness of the employees, the poor job that was done and just about every aspect of this salon. One employee grabbed the shellac color selectors out of my hand before I had chosen my color so she could let her client look at them, i was cut twice on the foot and my sister was cut on the hand, they gave no massage even though the service we chose included it. My sister's provider did not do callus removal even though it should have been included. The person providing my services changed three times as people came in. My sister had to stop at another salon and get her toes re-polished later as when we went out in the sunlight, you could see what a poor job had been done. I was a regular customer since July and loved this place. Today I came in 5 minutes to 11:00 a.m. first one in the door on Sunday for a manicure. I waited while they opened and then the older woman that is usually behind the front desk started on my manicure. She left me 7 minutes with cold washcloths around my fingers and I said to the other girl walking around what happened to her? She said she would be back shortly. I had told her when I sat down I was going to fly out to PA today and that is why I was first in the door. Never excused herself, or told me where she went. It turned out she took two girls why she was working on me and did eyebrow waxes and just left me sitting there. I waited 10 minutes and I just left and told them they just lost a regular. So many nail places to go to treat someone so rudely when I told her I had limited time and came early in so I would be the first one taken, how AWFUL and disrespectful! I went down the street to the salon by Kroeger and they took me right away and did a wonderful job. I WILL NEVER BE BACK AND NEITHER WILL MY HUSBAND FOR A PEDICURE! read more

Place is very nice. Moved in to new neighborhood and decided to try R&R nails since they just opened. Not the best experience. I had a pedicure by Mia who seemed pleasant. I had a nail that was hurting and asked if she could cut it and she said she couldn't do it. I asked if I could leave bc I didn't think it was fair to pay $27 for something that was still going to hurt. She didn't finish my pedicure and she made me pay $20 for an unfinished pedicure. She was very rude about it. I paid and left. My mom had to call them and explain the situation bc she didn't think it was fair that I had to pay $20 for an unfinished pedicure. Thankfully, they were able to get a hold of the manager and said I could come back and get my money back. I left and went to P&L nails next to HEB and they were able to fix my nails without a problem. Not going to come back due to how they handled the situation. Very rude after I went back to get my money. Not worth it. I will be sticking to P&L or maybe Kings nails next time. (: read more

I had a pedicure done here. Close to home so I thought I would try it out. It is a nice place with good design. However, Cathy (doubting that is her real name) was my nail tech and she spoke not a word of English. I wasn't able to communicate what I might like at all. She was a little rough and hurt me a couple times cleaning up the cuticles and the massage was just her rubbing my legs with lotion up and down. Also she used her thumb nail to clean up her polish mistakes around my nails. Just not professional. The polish job was fine. New ownership-Ann and Tham have both left along with all the rest of the staff. I have started using Posh Nails-Holly for nails and Bee for pedis. The nails I had done were AWFUL! She forgot to paint 2 and 1/2 of them so they were dull, all of them had wobbly defined separation between pink and white, they were poorly shaped and she didn't clean out the underneath with the metal toothpick which caused a snag and break within 2 hrs of having them done. What's worse is I couldn't tell the friend I was with how AWFUL they were so I couldn't complain. Please don't waste your time or money here like I did. I gave 1 star because my pedicure was really a 4 star, the young very well English speaking gal really did a fantastic job-could have been just a touch less in a rush-but I don't think she had anything to do with her speed, someone else seemed to influence how fast she went. I'm sorry to the pedicurist for this review, you did a great job and if ever anyone asked 4 1/2 stars-I regret not getting the most expensive one with orange scent, I'll suggest it here-get the most expensive pedi the Orange stuff smelled amazing, and everyone needs the yogurt mask stuff wrap part done for relaxation.
