Called to re spring my dirt bike. Seemed very annoyed with going over what kind of springs they can get me. Goes from saying he can get a lot of stuff to well it depends on what's available and does not know what he can get me. Wanted me to just drop my bike off knowing I don't live close by. He clearly showed me that he did not want to go over anything with me. This shop isn't customer friendly. So if you are someone that has questions and wants to go over what they recommend or what they can get, don't even bother. They hate working with you and don't care about making sure you are happy with what they recommend and what they can get. A lot of dirt bike shops are like this so if anyone recommends friendly shops with better customer service please let me know. These guys are too busy to talk to you. They want you to just drop your bike off and let them do what they want to your bike. Once I started sensing how annoyed he was that I wanted to know what kind of springs he can get me and what he recommends for my type of riding and riding weight, he hung up on me. read more

These guys are POC! Could have fixed this problem myself but just didn't have the time to help my bro before a big weekend... to get my bros motorcycle fixed before going out of town so we screwed up and put our trust in these guys. When calling around for who would have the best services, Not only did they say they would have it done before then, but these guys ended up keeping my bros bike for a few months after making up excuses and saying they don't do Nibbi carbs so the original carb and intake got dropped off; and then out of nowhere we get a call saying the bike is "ready for pick up" and it's in the SAME EXACT condition as when It was dropped it off! Can you believe that?! These guys didn't even touch the bike! Dirt still in the carb, Nibbi still on there and they all of a sudden lost the very unique intake we dropped off with the OG CARB and they said it wasn't there. Scammed us for the bros hard earned money, didn't even touch the bike, and even STOLE parts from the bike!!!! Beyond deliberately wicked scammer activities going on here! Holding the bike hostage making us pay a gang of money for not even touching it?!?! I know GOD will Handle it but I absolutely had to at least leave a review! We just bought a 2019 Husqvarna dirtbike from this place. The guy said they went through everything and it is good to go. We took the bike out for the first time, and after the first trip burned a bunch of oil and is missing bolts when you try to call no answer don't recommend. read more

I'm not a big fan of leaving bad reviews so I'm not gonna mark this is one star but the service I got from RP racing this time around could definitely have warranted it. I've taken a few small things to them in the past and never had problems but recently I took my Grom to get a clutch installed And I did supply aftermarket clutch parts and I just wanted them to install it now fast forward less than a week after picking up my bike and my clutch plates are completely burned. I brought it back so that they could check it out and they told me that the clutch was not adjusted correctly. The bike had no more than 200 miles on the new clutch when it burned out so that led me to believe that it was installed incorrectly I cannot say that for sure so it definitely could have been my own issue. I think my biggest complaint with RP racing is how they dealt with it I told them that I wanted it done right and let me know how much it was gonna be if I had to pay anything else now I was willing to pay for parts and hopefully have a labor covered or partial labor covered but about a week and a half after I drop the bike off AGAIN they called me and told me it was ready to pick up the first time they had called me they told me how much it was and so I brought the money with me this time they just told me to pick it up so naturally I assumed it was gonna be covered or mostly covered no it was somehow like $80 more and they never told me that until I came to pick my bike up. All in all I will not be taking my bike back to RP racing I will find someone else it is unfortunate though because I do like supporting the east county small businesses. read more

Asked if they could do my bike before Friday (brought it in Monday) they said yes and the things I requested were quoted at (less than $200) called Thursday evening and asked how it was going and what time I could grab it and meet with a bad attitude. "I said it would be done tomorrow didn't I?" Ok what TIME so I can arrange my day I'm busy trying to get on the road. Called at 415 saying it's ready I already assumed it wouldn't be so I didn't plan on loading or bring it I wasn't going to wait around and waste time waiting on a possible time.came to grab the bike following week and told it would be $300 now. Asking why he just said that's what it cost. I never got a call telling me it was going to be more, or it needed any extras (which it didn't need any more work i was told less than 200$ now it's $300 and bad attitude AND my bike still starts as bad and as hard as it did when I brought it in. This shop is worst for jet ski repair in SD County. They are liars and sub out all jet ski work. Should have known when 15 miles away from water and there wasn't one jet ski in there shop.Then he had me call the mechanic at a different number and different location. Then came the bait and switch . Said needed carburetor tune up without starting? Then billed me $600 and said had low compression and needed another $900 of work. Couldn't you have a least started the skis and do the compression check first since they were 20 years old? Owner is not friendly, not professional was very hostile , and foul mouthed . Make sure he at least starts and listens to your machine before he starts throwing out prices. Motorcycle shops don't have to follow same laws as Auto Mechanics aren't governed by bureau of Auto Repair. Tried to rob me for storage in small claims and got denied. Judge suspected he was using my trailer cause said it was not with the Skis. Good Luck !! read more
