Got my LBX and some upgrades from motozone, the guys are always super helpful and willing to help any time I drop by. Highly recommend for all your moto needs, gas or electric.

Customer service was amazing! I highly recommend stopping by here if you even think you're in the market for a bike. They're extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and it's just all around great experience. I ordered my Sur Ron Light online and they had it waiting for me before I arrived. They also threw on some last minute mods and I couldn't be happier with the bike or the shop. Swing by and take a look, you'll end up buying something for sure.

I was shopping around for a 2023 Sur-Ron the owner and workers were very friendly. I kinda knew what what I was getting myself into but the workers lead me to the right direction. They helped me out with all the parts I needed labor and they made things easy. I would most definitely buy here again.

I needed some tires mounted and balanced at a very reasonable price and that's what they offered. I didn't have an appointment but I called and they took it as a walk in, completed service 2 hours later, thanks again.

We were on the second leg of an across two countries and back road trip. Anchorage thru Candada and back across the states. While in San Diego a tire inspection showed more wear than we liked. We discovered the wear on a Sunday and Yelped up some options. Motozone was open on Monday and we were there when they opened thier doors. The staff was solid... We ran Dunlop Road Smart 2's and even tho the current catolog had none.... Ivan found a matching tire and had it in less than 24 hrs. We ride a Ducati Multi Strada with a very complex electronic suspension and a single sided swing arm with rather unique torque issues. Motozone was awesome in handling our bike. We waited while the work was done and this is a solid shop. We wittnessed their interaction with customers and would highly recommend them. Ride safe and look thru your turns.....:-)

MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK THE WORK FOR LOOSE BOLTS/NUTS IF YOU HAVE WORK DONE HERE!!! I feel bad writing this review for this shop, it is so close to home.. making it convenient to come to... but unfortunately I will not be bringing my bike here for service anymore. I brought my 2012 gixxer 750 for service because I was having starting issues. I dropped off my bike and later was called and told the issue. I agreed to the work and the part would take about a week for it to be derived to the shop, but the clutch lever switch (sensor) could be bypassed until the part came in and then replaced so i was told i could pick up my bike. When I arrived I signed the Ro and paid for the part and my bike was pulled up, so far everything was good, until i get on my bike to ride off and my clutch lever is jiggling all over the place because the perch was not tightened.. the good thing is that this happened in the parking lot and Ivan brought out his ratchet and tightened it for me before i left.... okay i let this go thinking its a minor mistake.. its fine. A week later my part came in and i brought my bike so the switch could be replaced, I also had tires i wanted to be replaced so i asked them to mount and balance the tires for me since the bike would be in their shop. After the work was done i picked up my bike, everything looked good and i was a happy camper.. i rode around town all day just breaking in my new tires and a few trips on the freeway. The next day as I'm letting my bike warm up I'm doing a walk around and noticed the axle nut of the front tire is backed up all the way to the end of the threads.. i could turn it with my fingers... and a sudden wave of fear ran through my whole body because i have no idea of this means my front tire could of just popped off on my while I'm riding around in the freeway! the clutch lever I thought was a minor thing but now my front wheel? who the hell is doing the work on the bikes and where did he get his qualifications? don't the nuts have to be torqued down? i brought the bike back to the shop, showed Ivan the problem, he quickly took it back and i heard the torque guns go off a few times, they checked both front and rear tires, but I'm still left with a doubt and am a bit afraid of riding my bike. Sorry but i will not have my biked touched at this place ever again, unless they have a new technician that knows what he's doing, i will only use this place to buy parts if I'm too lazy to ride down to cycle gear.

Every time I stop by the shop he treats me like a friend. He's getting super busy these days but he always takes the time to explain any problems & describe his work. I'm a new rider but on my second motorcycle. I started with an old Susuki savage that had been sitting for years, he tuned it up, got it running smoothly, & solved my nagging dead battery issues. It took some trouble shooting but apparently the starter / single cylinder 650cc can pretty hard on batteries (despite being on a trickle charger). I needed an upgrade to a super tough battery - Mark was hesitant because the cost was higher but it was really necessary to solve the problem, haven't had an issue since. When I upgraded to a 1989 Yamaha Virago 1100 (with only 6K miles on it!) I took it straight to Mark for a tune up. Obviously this bike has spent most of its life in storage. He flushed the fluids out of all the systems & spent hours getting nearly solid gunk out of her arteries. All the build up was causing the engine to idle & rev at variable RMPs. After a week or so I brought her back in to see why it was difficult to handle at low speeds (in 1st gear keeps wanting to die & required a lot of throttle) I thought I was just a wimpy new rider but Mark make adjustments to the engine to choke it back a bit & worked on the clutch so it was easier for my small hands work the engaging point. His efforts have really improved my ride! It's so much easier to handle & still have tons of power. Thanks Mark!!

I needed a front fork seal rebuild on my bike. I'd gone by a big local place up in Kearny Mesa (won't name) and dude was dismissive, like 'ah yeah a couple hours to pull the forks, a couple hours to rebuild...but we're a month out to get you in'. Acted like he didn't want my business and wouldn't even provide a number 'uh yeah like $130/hour times 4 hours, and yeah parts too'. Gel haired, flat brimmed, frosted tip 50 year old goofball. SD moto did a 24 hour turnaround. Yep, actually less than 24 hours. They preemptively got the parts (he paid for them) dropped bike off Friday, picked up Saturday. Beyond happy. I have a valve clearance coming up in a few thousand miles and I'll coming here. Also he's from Bulgaria , not Russia. Good guy! Edit Bulgaria NOT Belarus haha. Sorry!

I then came across SD moto repair & found brother constantine. He is a 1 man worker but he does work at a fair price, & does it a good time frame & i have been taking my ZX10R to him for some years now for oil changes, tire changes, brake & master cylinder work, front & rear sprocket & chain replacement etcc.. he was even able to find me a replacement fairing for my Zx10R which are hard to find now because of my bikes age & he helped me today (9/13/25) properly fit a green rear seat cowl on my ZX10R that I bought on Ebay that is seen in this photo. I would reccomend him to any rider that needs their cycle serviced for fair pricing, good work & good turn around time. He also doesn't tell his customers "your cycle is too old" as the motozone mechanic told me years ago.

I asked if he was still available and if he had the software update for the NEW Harley Road Glide models. He replied that he did have it, so we confirmed for January 16 for 9:30am but he didn't show up until after 1pm. He started the job with an understanding that he had a right ABS software to complete the job. After he finished the ABS flush, he let me know that he did not have the right ABS software for the new models so the ABS light would remain on but that he bought the new software, and was waiting for Harley-Davidson to send him information, so that as soon as he had it, he would let me know to finish the ABS flush. A week later, I texted him to ask about a quote for a tire installation and to check on him completing ABS update. He texted me the cost, but we were unable to confirm the installation date due to personal family matters I had the rest of the week. Two weeks passed and since I had not heard from him for almost two weeks about completing the ABS flush job, I reached out to him. I texted him on February 11, 2026, but he didn't return my text. I also called him on February 12, but he did not answer or return the call. I called him on February 23 and 24, but he sent me straight to voicemail. On February 25, I texted him to ask if everything was okay and let him know I felt he was purposely ignoring my communication. I explained, again, that my family matters on the week of January 26, but he still needed to finish the ABS flush software update to remove the light of the dashboard screen and complete that job, that I was willing to ride up to north county (Oceanside) for him to finish the job. He replied that he had not purchased the software because the tire installation did not occurred on January 29, and he moved to Oceanside. What's crazy is that on the 16th (day of ABS flush), he told me he had bought software program and was waiting on Harley-Davidson to do "something." Also, we never confirmed the tire installation date. I texted him that I would confirm on a later date, but I was unable to do so because I was traveling. If we would had confirmed a tire installation we would had communicated before his arrival to my house. Plus, the tire installation is a different job from the ABS Flush. He informed me that he would not be completing the job and that I should take it to someone else for the light removal. However, I trusted in him to finish the job, so I paid him on January 16 for the ABS flush, he even signed my HD service records on my owners manual. Now, HD dealer services has informed me that I would have to pay to redo the ABS flush because they have to do it to remove the light. That means the ABS flush will cost me close to $600; between what I paid Mike and the HD service cost. I can't understand why he accepted a job where he was asked specifically about having the proper tools to complete the job, but didn't do the work to verify the software before hand. If he would have told me that he didn't have the tools, I would have waited for him to buy it and he could have still done the work. Now I'm going to be having to spend more money. Mike's actions lacks professionalism and integrity to his customers base.
