I took my bike in for a noise, supposedly they fix it one month later I need a complete motor. That repair took two months, when I picked up my bike it is making the same noise as before. To top it off they Stole my Screaming eagle tuner thats a 400 hundred dollar theft. I will be making a police report , for the theft. I drove over four hours after I made an appointment to see a bike. After taking the bike for a test ride, I decided to buy it and sat down with the salesman and the store manager. The manager put down the deal sheet and because I was interested in the bike she added $1800 to the price that we had already agreed to. The manager claimed that that was called ADM and that it will standard practice for her to add that onto the bike and call it added a dealer markup. That's what is called a bait and switch in my world. I caution anybody who even remotely thinks they want to deal with this dealership to think twice and find somewhere else to go buy a bike from an honorable dealership. I reluctantly give this a one star because there's no option to put zero stars or negative stars. read more

I called El Patron HD to see if they had a part in stock after Biggs in San Marcos said it was going to be back ordered from Harley because the HD website said "call to check inventory" for the El Patron location. The guy who answered the phone in parts was so rude I don't know how they keep any customers. He act like I was putting him out of his way by asking if I could order it over the phone. He told me I had to come in with cash or payment in hand cuz HE doesn't order anything without payment in hand first. it was so off-putting how he even said it... He didn't even say thank you or any of the types of things that customer service people say when wrapping up the phone call. Basically all I heard was the click of the phone hanging up. So, I've been riding for years, and I have never purchased a brand-new bike because quite frankly I have my issues with the new bikes but when I walked into the dealership, I met George, and he was chill very inviting, when talking bikes and money it was a no pressure situation like I was talking with a longtime friend. I haven't been here since about 2009, and they sure have changed a lot. This place is the stock all kinds of cool stuff and have a large selection of motorcycles both new and used and they have a selection here. It's not very impressive, but I did see some good prices on a few things, but the main thing I'm always looking for is a quick look at how many miles something has and there's no mileage on anything and while I can mess with the motorcycle and have it display it's mileage I don't wanna have to do that. The selection of clothing is seriously pathetic too. I'm always looking for more jean jackets and Jean vests, and while the women section had a couple of jackets, there were no men's wear that I found. This place was a lot nicer. After many bad experiences with the poor workmanship at the dealer, I decided to cancel the prepaid maintenance (which is not usable anywhere but El Patron). I call and then email Abigail, I sent her the signed form, as well as a copy of the contract. In the email I said attached is a copy of the (service) contract that I wish to cancel. I receive a letter on Thursday 4/24/2025 stating that they had cancelled the extended warranty. I emailed Abigail immediately, and asked her to look into why the warranty was cancelled and call or email me. 4/26, I had not received a call, so I called her. She informs me that they cancelled both, not understanding that the contract attached attached, and my verbiage meant only cancel the extended maintenance. She says no problem we can reinstate it, just come in and sign. I ask her to email it to me for electronic signature and that won't work has to be a wet signature. So, we don't need a wet signature from the client to cancel the wrong contract, but we do need one when we mess up and need it reinstated. Buyer beware. read more

I called Dee at El Cajon Harley Davidson early this morning, my 2015 CVO Road Glide would not even blink with 65,000 miles on the Odometer, totally dead in the water at the end of a downhill sloped driveway. Coronado H D did not step up,I (useless) l had called them first l have been a devoted HD Rider since 1994 with my first HD motorcycle a FLSTF (Fatboy) which l ordered waited almost 10 months. I'm a member of the American Legion Riders ( Road Captain) and have been since 2018, l'm also a Patriot Guard Rider Road Guard, VFW Chapter 2082 Road Captain as well. I have devoted my later years to all Veteran Causes and Proud to do it even though l was never a Veteran as my Father was , 34 years of underwater service, since his passing l have devoted my efforts & $ to all Veteran Causes and Dee at El Cajon Harley Davidson shadows my devotion to HD and Veterans, she is an asset to El Cajon Harley Davidson. Though not as large as some of the other Harley Davidson dealers in San Diego county, their parts and accessories seem to be better stocked. They had several parts in stock that other HD dealers would have had to order for me and their clothing/accessories department has a much better selection as well. Derrick at parts is like a mind reader anticipating my needs and answering questions before I could even ask. A little miscommunication about a part I had purchased ended up being a blessing in disguise. He showed me the advantages of the part I had vs the one I thought I wanted, though he was willing to do whatever I wanted to make me happy. He also advised me on performance parts I was considering with no pressure, again just trying to educate me so I could make my best decision. Their parts and performance displays are well done giving me many ideas on what I may do to my Harley. All the the ladies I met at their clothing and accessories department are super friendly and helpful. They were quick to check on any style, colors and size I was looking for. Their helmet selection is some of the best I've seen, not only carrying a lot of helmets but helmets of higher caliber than most other motorcycle dealerships I've been to. Bought a HD night rod. Had the typical "car dealer experience" times 10. The first quote for the bike which was advertised under $10K was about $16K including the added bs warranties. They also had added almost $2K for making the bike ready to ride. Guy I talked to (Christian?) was very aggressive. At the first service (not at HD El Cajon) it was clear that the ABS was bypassed and their mechanics either did not notice or hid it even though it is a major safety issue. Note, the sales person verbally had shared that the bike has ABS. Buying from a private party seems likely less risk full. Lesson learned ! read more

I went to El Cajon HD to see and support one of my buddies buying a bike yesterday, Saturday 10/12/19. While there, I saw a BEAUTIFUL 2020 Roadglide Limited. I started talking to the floor manager, Stephen Corrales. He had observed me looking intently at the bike and inquired if I had any questions.
