Best buying experience in my entire life, and I am not exaggerating. First of all: this dealership has no "hidden fees". NO ADM, no gimmicks, no sales speech, no "BS". They won't even be trying to push financing, or try to sell you any extended warranty or service plan. Nothing. Therefore I didn't even think about negotiating anything. I went online to reserve the vehicle I really wanted. After you are done with the online reservation, you get a draft bill of sale right away by email with your final OTD price (again, no markup, you get MSRP+transport+taxes). It takes about 1 minute, literally. You need a $300 deposit via credit card to complete this step. Fair. I showed up to write a check and get my vehicle. The whole process took 18 minutes total, I almost didn't have time to take photos for yelp (!) AND I got a physical, final, hard license plate too, not even a temporary one, on a brand new vehicle. I worked with Melo from the sales department. Nice, competent, professional awesome guy. I can only highly recommend this motorcycle dealership. Best experience ever. Have been taking an older (early 00's) Goldwing here for a few years for service but was recently informed they no longer want to work on it due to its age. This was quite a surprise as I've never had issues in the past. They did indicate that if I was unsuccessful finding anyone else to do the oil change (and tires), they could, maybe, work me in in a few weeks. That certainly encouraged me to find a new shop which I was finally able to do (there is a challenge in San Diego finding a shop that will work on Goldwings of any age). I had been planning on upgrading to a new Goldwing this year but I'll find a different dealer for that moving forward. read more

I've never met someone in sales so willing to throw away a deal over a few hundred dollars. I contacted Poway Powersports about a bike a week back and promptly received a text from JB. After exchanging a few messages with JB, he insisted I come in to "make a deal." Working a high stress job, and having dealt with plenty of other dealers via text and email, I was reluctant to carve time into my busy schedule. I decided that I would stop by on my lunch break to gain some rapport and show my face as another human being. My text messages back and forth was not leaving me with the best impression so I figured why not. After that interaction with JB, I had high hopes and felt like we had a way forward. Fast forward a few days and I was ready to make a deal. I texted JB my counter offer, to which he replied with "Just bring a check Friday. I'll get the bike prepped. Yes." This emphatically reads, I agree and see you then where I am from. Mind you, my offer was $491 less than their first initial offer. We're not talking about low balling here. Cash in hand and ready to go. I replied with the time I would be there and later confirmed the next day I would be there and looking forward to seeing him. When I arrived at the dealer, I was informed that he miss quoted my price and that the new price would be $200 more than what I offered and he agreed to. He claimed that he looked at the wrong line and that we could just run my debit card for the difference. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. He also tried claiming he never agreed to the price. Then when I walked back he said, well we can sell it to you at that price if you buy our warranty. To which I responded how betrayed and lied to I felt. Ready to walk, he calls the owner Melo and lo and behold, he can sell it at the agreed price. If I didn't want the bike so bad, I would have just walked away. Having worked in sales, if you make an honest mistake you own it and make the customer happy. Not wait to spring it on them when they arrive. This is a wonderful way to taint what should have been a happy experience. I can say that I would never go back here again for another purchase. The right thing? Call the owner, do whatever it takes and own your mistake. Don't try and pass that to the customer. Also, make sure you ask for all your accessories. Had I not pressed for it, I would have also left missing an entire box of parts including my tool kit. Got an alignment job done here about a year ago after dropping my bike 1290 superduke r 2020. I noticed the paint was chipped on the outside of my display afterwards and I could obviously see a wrench went into the middle of my steering column to be loosened. I didn't say anything about the paint and neither did they. Fast forward to now in that same area where the scratch is outside of the screen, the display is now getting warped from the inside. It's a tricky situation. I don't know how I feel about it. I'm mad they didn't say anything to me. And I'm also upset for not speaking up until now. I thought that the paint scratch wasn't a big deal but now the display is 1400$ not including labor. I just don't understand why this happened. I guess I have to watch over and inspect everything they do meticulously from this point on. Because something might get messed up. I have owned this bike for 5 years. I had a problem with GP motorcycle because of something similar they didn't tell me about after a repair. In San Diego it seems most my choice of dealers don't acknowledge their mistakes and it's up to us to hold them accountable. But how would we know or care to know when we entrusted the job to them. They have been there for me in my past experience but this is unacceptable. I hope a solution could be brought up so I can have a better experience. I really like you guys. Always a good vibe. But this stinks. EDIT. They are willing to get me a new part AT COST but won't take accountability and do the install. I am not impressed at all with the way they handled this. read more

I called ahead and on the first phone call Whitney gave me an out the door price for a new model. She also quoted me for a used one that they had just received. However, I'm waiting for Poway Powersports to get one in stock because the idea of dealing with another dealership feels painful after the smooth and easy experience I had at Poway Powersports. The fact that I'm deferring this purchase so I can do business with Poway Powersports I think says alot about how good the purchase experience was for me. Finally, I was to address a 1 star review below from a customer that was frustrated that the inventory in the dealership did not match the website. This is a small dealership and inventory has been moving quickly this season. All dealerships are struggling with inventory, particular on youth models. In short- From start to finish my experience at Poway was outstanding! Details why- I live in OC so Poway is a journey of 100 miles each way. With so many dealers in OC my choice for Poway was based on Yelp reviews, hassle free online purchase, and most importantly, no dealer markups. I followed the online process and was given a OTD quote as well as Melo, the dealership owner, called and we set expectations on parts and other discounts. When we arrived JB welcomed us by our first names. From that moment tbrought the purchase JB was very professional with every item. The paperwork was quick and certainly no stress at all with the overall purchase. When it came time to pay it was exactly the OTD price, not a cent more and not a push to buy anything additional. Ryan and the parts manager were helpful and persistent in getting an order submitted to KTM through an ordering glitch and getting it shipped to me same day they received it. My experience with service is limited to the bike was ridden back to OC on country roads and highways, over 140 miles. The bike worked flawlessly, latest firmware, license plate installed etc.. the bike was setup correctly for delivery. Lastly, "after sales support"; a week after picking up the bike I sent a note to JB and asked for a missing part, he immediately responded to my text with "I'll check". One hour later he told me he located the box and yes it was missed in my delivery. The upfront honesty from Melo from that first discussion, to JB throughout the process and after sales is commendable. As we were leaving Melo came out and personally thanked us for our business.
