Love at first sight

Poway Powersports I was just browsing for a Honda Fury because I love the look of them. It's a look you can never get tired of it's a good looking bike. Everyone has Harley's and they all look the same no matter what they do to them. The next day JB gave me a call and said we could make it happen if that is the bike you want. This bike had 0 miles on it when I picked it up. It has always been a dream of mine to park a Fury beside my shadow and thanks to JB my dream can finally be reality. Love at first sight.

Got an alignment job done here about a year ago after dropping my bike 1290 superduke r 2020. I noticed the paint was chipped on the outside of my display afterwards and I could obviously see a wrench went into the middle of my steering column to be loosened. I didn't say anything about the paint and neither did they. Fast forward to now in that same area where the scratch is outside of the screen, the display is now getting warped from the inside. It's a tricky situation. I don't know how I feel about it. I'm mad they didn't say anything to me. And I'm also upset for not speaking up until now. I thought that the paint scratch wasn't a big deal but now the display is 1400$ not including labor. I just don't understand why this happened. I guess I have to watch over and inspect everything they do meticulously from this point on. Because something might get messed up. I have owned this bike for 5 years. I had a problem with GP motorcycle because of something similar they didn't tell me about after a repair. In San Diego it seems most my choice of dealers don't acknowledge their mistakes and it's up to us to hold them accountable. But how would we know or care to know when we entrusted the job to them. They have been there for me in my past experience but this is unacceptable. I hope a solution could be brought up so I can have a better experience. I really like you guys. Always a good vibe. But this stinks. EDIT. They are willing to get me a new part AT COST but won't take accountability and do the install. I am not impressed at all with the way they handled this.

I can not say enough about the service that I received out at Poway Powersports. I recently purchased a new 2023 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT from there and received exceptional service. Every single person in the process was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. JB, Ryan, and Sean went out of their way to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. JB made the paperwork process unbelievably easy, and Ryan and the entire service department we're outstanding. If you have a Goldwing, Sean is THE man to see. I had numerous modifications to be made to the bike, and I found his work to be meticulous and thorough. I would highly recommend them and not hesitate to purchase from there in the future.

The whole process was seamless. J.B. was awesome and super easy going. All my local dealerships were charging bogus fees and mark ups so I had to venture out and I ended up finding this place online. I asked what the OTD price was and he confirmed there was no markup; J.B. took my deposit over the phone since I had to travel about 2 hours to pick up my crf250f but it was well worth it! He prepped the bike & paperwork and we were done within 20 min. I ended up cutting my hand pretty bad strapping my bike down and J.B. was generous enough to get me patched up haha (thanks again J.B.!) these guys are all great people and I will gladly take the long drive to do business again. Thank You Poway Powersports Team

Last summer I started shopping for a new dirt bike. After dealing with a few shops that tried to pull every sleazy used car sales tactic with me I found Poway Powersports. This was the only store that didn't play pricing games with me. Whitney was up front about the price and lead time. Yes, it took several months to get the bike but that was no fault of the store just the way things are right now. About once a month (maybe more) I would check in with Whitney to see where my new XR650 was. She always happily let me know the status of delivery, until the day she called me and said come get it! Whitney had all the paperwork ready, Ryan in parts had all the mods done, and the guys helped me to load up the bike in the back of my truck. I was out of there quickly and there were no "surprises". This shop is a 3 hour drive from my home but it was well worth it as there was no aggravation in making this purchase. In fact, I was so happy with the way I was treated by Whitney and her team that I just ordered a Pioneer 520 from them. No gimmicks, no games, just a straight shooting store with a great staff.

Melo, Ryan, Josh, and the shop technicians are awesome. I stopped going to other shops due to their misleading sales practices, and feeling like they only want your money. I've bought 6 motorcycles from Melo. He gives you an OTD price, no dicking around, so he values my time. I've never been disappointed by having any parts added to my KTM's, and I know Melo and his team aren't trying to sell a bunch of unnecessary parts. I recommend Power Power Sports to all my friends.

It was a privilege purchasing my 2022 Honda Grom from Poway Powersports. WHITNEY was awesome and straight forward. I called on a Saturday and she gave me an over-the-phone OTD quote which was cheaper than what I calculated. NO PRE COVID, POST COVID or ADDITIONAL BS FEES! Poway Powersports really takes care of their customers. Ryan at parts was a cool guy too. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you Poway Powersports, Whitney especially, for a great purchase experience.

Just bought my second bike from Poway Powersports, this time with JB, and it couldn't have gone better. Put a deposit down a couple months ago for a '23 CB1000R that they were expecting to come in. JB kept in touch and let me know the moment it came in. Pickup was quick, got registered, plated and out the door with chit chat in about an hour. Will be back for sure.

I bought two new 22 Honda Groms (about $4k/ea) from Kevin Haynes in March (2022). Kevin was extremely responsive to my texts and emails. The dealership, even though I live in Las Vegas, is well worth the 10 hr drive! Las Vegas dealerships are charging $5900 for a Grom. Good selection and awesome prices.

He's a very friendly person, and when it comes to motorcycles is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive and looks for ways to get the job done quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The service I requested was a carb clean and an oil change, and he did just that. I was working from home, so I came out to check on how things were and he showed me what he was working on and went into detail about what he was fixing and got the job done in the timeline that was estimated. My 1999 Yamaha V star is back running and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this business to anyone thinking about that bike that needs fixing that's sitting in your garage or whoever you know needs a moto repair. Again, fair pricing, and great work. 10/10!

I called different bike repair shops and no one wanted to tell me anything over the phone. Fortunately, I got in touch with Charles through a recommendation of a friend (word of mouth). Within the first few minutes of talking with him on the phone it was very apparent that Charles was very knowledgeable and experienced in moto repair. In my particular case he explained that based on my millage since last getting serviced, it was most likely the valve clearance that needed to be checked and adjusted. (He mentioned a few other things that could be a cause as well, but said it was probably not as likely as the valve clearance.) Anyway long story short, he adjusted my valves as well as cleaned my fuel injectors. When I got my motorcycle back, it sounded and rode better than ever before. It sounded and felt like a completely different motorcycle (in a good way). Charles is very passionate about motorcycles and loves to talk about motorcycles and motorcycle repair. He did a great job, and at a price that is far more competitive vs the bigger guys (who just want to get your bike in and out as fast as possible). In addition to the great service and pricing, what I really like about Charles is that he is always willing to take the time to talk with you (over the phone or in person) and will answer all your questions. I definitely feel far more knowledgeable about my bike after my conversations with Charles. From now on, Papa Bear Moto Repair is the only place that I'm taking to get work done on my bike. P.S. I used to have a really bad stalling issue with my bike. Even after supposedly getting a valve clearance adjustment with Fun Bike a couple years back, I still had a very annoying stalling issue. I thought that maybe it was due to the fact I had an aftermarket exhaust and that I needed to do a dyno tune. Well, turns out that after doing the valve clearance adjustment with Papa Bear Moto (Charles), the stalling issue seems to be completely gone! I guess a valve clearance adjustment is really important. (This is why I believe that Fun Bike didn't do a proper valve clearance adjustment a couple years back.)

TWO WHEELS UP AND RUNNING (5 stars)…read more Mobile service to the rescue! I've called around and this one seemed the best and most responsive. There are simple jobs to be done for easy money but finding people willing to do it is the challenge! I am lucky Dridox provided mobile service and came to my home to take of services I need... call service ($75) battery replacement ($65 + $29 for battery) and oil change ($85) , maybe tank flush if it didn't start up after the battery replacement. This is what I get for letting my two wheels sit idle in the garage during the winter months collecting dust. I reached out, got a quote, and scheduled the service with Adriano. I had intentions to do this all myself but didn't have all the tools and would like to see it done first before taking a hand at it... also eager to ride and want these services done ASAP! Adriano arrived early/on time, charged my battery and tested it (def needed a new one), replaced my battery, hooked up my charger device (recently bought it and didn't know it's needed for maintenance), it started so I didn't need a tank flush, but went ahead with an oil change since I was overdue. I did tell Adriano I been nearby g to do this on my own so he did show me how-to and what tools and what to look for or be careful of, which I super appreciate his professionalism and expertise. My little two wheels was probably a cake walk to what he is use to servicing. Within the hour all was done. If bigger jobs need to be done such as engine rebuild - they do that too and can rack your two wheels to their shop. The business accepts credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. The motorcycle shop that usually serviced my two-wheels for years stopped providing service and only to Surrons going forward... they gain some but lost a lot of the only tailor to only a specific kind. My choices were 1) Do the services myself 2) Tow it to Fun Bike Center and get it serviced 3) Fine a mobile service to do it. With the impatience of not riding and budget considered, mobile service was best especially when watching and learning to (maybe) do it in the future yourself. For any future assistance with my two wheel maintenance, I'll be giving them a call. I highly recommend their services.

I needed a front fork seal rebuild on my bike. I'd gone by a big local place up in Kearny Mesa (won't name) and dude was dismissive, like 'ah yeah a couple hours to pull the forks, a couple hours to rebuild...but we're a month out to get you in'. Acted like he didn't want my business and wouldn't even provide a number 'uh yeah like $130/hour times 4 hours, and yeah parts too'. Gel haired, flat brimmed, frosted tip 50 year old goofball. SD moto did a 24 hour turnaround. Yep, actually less than 24 hours. They preemptively got the parts (he paid for them) dropped bike off Friday, picked up Saturday. Beyond happy. He also doesn't tell his customers "your cycle is too old" as the motozone mechanic told me years ago.
