I disagree with Rob K.. I have done 22" rims flat black (1 year ago) They look awesome. I also have 2 full exhaust systems and several smaller parts done in flat ceramic coat. I will be posting photos soon of the rims and exhaust system. Customer service is hands down awesome. Expect a week wait, (5days) I think it's worth it.. The shop might be a bit strewn, but that's because they're involved in a lot of projects. I dealt with Troy over the phone first and he gave me a price range that was within my budget for the project I have going on. When I showed up Troy wrote me up a firm price and said he'd turn it around within a week and a half, which was reasonable. 3 days go by and I receive a call from Troy saying the ceramic coating is done! It was much faster than expected, so I picked them up today. The pipes were sandblasted and coated black for heat reduction under the hood (turbo application) and were wrapped up in plastic to protect the coating. Finally, the owner shared with me some of his personal projects and I could tell he was very passionate about the work he and his team did. It is always nice to know that people working on your car parts are enthusiasts themselves and put in the time and effort to deliver a clean product, much better than you'd be able to do yourself! I took some motorcycle parts here for powder coating awhile back and they did a great job for me. The quality of the powder coating was excellent. The price was very reasonable also. The staff I encountered were professional and friendly. The best part was they got the job done almost a week earlier than I expected. I've used Powder One a few times now on some car parts, and that is my last time. Don't get me wrong, their quality of work is very good, but customer service sucks. They tell you one week out and it will be two or more. The time before last they lost one of my parts and had to have one made, and the only way they would move was to keep calling them or stop at their shop. The last one week job, was over three weeks. They could not do some parts so they had to order new ones. They NEVER call you to tell you what is going on. You are constantly left in the dark. Apparently their phone doesn't dial out. So if you can put up with all of that, they are ok, but I will be using a different powder coater from here on out. read more

Do not use this company! We dropped off our 1926 truck wheels, rims and brake drums for powder coating. They told us it would take a week. It took three weeks. When we arrived to pick them up, the brake drums were powder coated on the INSIDE, including the braking surfaces. We had specifically told them NOT to powder coat the inside of the drums, for obvious reasons. The inside powder coating had to be stripped off. These were multi piece rims with lock rings and flanges. We needed the parts kept separate with the wheels they came off of. The owner and manager assured us they would keep the rings coordinated with each wheel. They didn't. They simply gave us back the parts with all the rings and flanges mixed up. Major screw up and now the rims will not go back together because there are different size rings for each wheel. They also LOST two of the lock washers, which were supposed to be powder coated. It took a total of four weeks to get these done, and we are left trying to piece together which rings go with which wheels. These guys have a major backlog of parts laying in their yard waiting to be coated and not enough employees, apparently, to get the work done in a timely manner. The price was not cheapest either, but we thought Powder 1 would do a good job. Avoid this company. read more

very poor work ,bubbles in powder ,few bubbles I picked off and still can see spray paint under powder coat,
