When I first started going to Rochelle, I had a bald patch on the top of my head from a previous braider who used freaking nail glue in my hair. Rochele was gentle. She doesn't braid too tight and that allowed my hair to grow back in that spot and all over as well. She is professional, great to chat with while sitting in her chair, and gets me in and out (which I love). I don't typically brag much on my hair but Rochele is truly the crochet queen. She always got me looking real cute. Lol. I don't trust just anyone in my hair and I can truly say that I have full trust in her and her capabilities. I'm Disappointed at how unprofessional my communications with this individual were. After having a phone conversation she gave me her number so she could send me to booking link. Immediately after booked the appointment from the list of AVAILABLE DAYS & TIMES I texted her back informing her of my booking. She responded asking if I could come in earlier because she simply "Didn't Want to Wait Around" for the appointment time. If you don't want to wait around, then you shouldn't have later times available. Mind you I made the appointment on Saturday evening for a Tuesday afternoon spot. Being in the service industry, it's not a good start when your attitude and unprofessionalism shows in the booking process. Especially when then someone is supposed to trust to do a service on their head which involves pulling on their hair which can already be somewhat uncomfortable. I love my hair! Rochele's studio is in a nice arcade with other beauty services (hair, waxing, lashes, etc), each having their own private space. Rochele was very friendly and she was able to schedule me with short notice. Well, I was lucky she had the time for me with short notice! Within 30 minutes after she finished my hair, 3 women complimented me. A friend over text asked for Rochele's info. I came to Rochele on short notice and she was able to book me the next day. She answered all my questions and was very polite. She never made me feel that my questions or concerns were burdensome or silly. Rochele does an excellent job communicating and being honest, which is definitely a trustworthy character trait in someone who you'll be in such close proximity with. She braids quickly and does not pull tightly on the hair. In fact, the process is so painless that I found myself dozing off. 2 weeks of cancellations. After leaving a deposit to secure an appointment she cancelled on me 4 times. Going in to chemo and wanting to take pictures with my kids before hospitalized and losing all my hair. A day before chemo she puts off my 1pm appointment to 2pm. Arrived at 2:5 and she's not even half way done with a current customer. To top it off, she blamed me for the wrong hair color she got. I was super patient and kind every time she cancelled on me. Rochelle has NO professionalism whatsoever. She's a compulsive lier and is the worse bullshitter I've ever met. I highly recommend Rochele Jones of ROyalty Creation for any Fashion Show Production. My company, MKPR Branding Agency, held an LAFW Showing with a Couture Clothing Line by an African Designer, Sidratu Maju, from Sierra Leone and Royalty Creations was asked to come on board as a sponsor. During the course of the preparation for the presentation, Rochele was asked to braid over 13 models hair and she did it under the given time restriction. Rochele has been doing my hair for 3-4 years now and I can say for sure she is very skilled and talented. After years of bad weaves and wigs my hair was in need of some SEROUS TLC. She started doing my hair and it was badly damaged and broken off and now its healthy and strong. I have been to a lot of stylists who will put in braids or a weave too tight or do things that purposely damage your hair.
