Judy tells you the cost of each repair up front, which I appreciate...it sucks being surprised when picking up your clothes, and it costs more than you originally expected. I usually give her one week to complete my "order", and the quality and price are worth the wait. I also appreciate the convenience of private parking near 99 street, behind the house. And it's only blocks away from Wild Earth Cafe, Culina and Route 99. My favourite tailor on the city.

They have made a new business arrangement and have "sold" I think to new owners but Allan and Judy look like they still work in the back. Anyway about a week ago, my wife called on the date she was told her items would be ready (no rush at all she gave 3 weeks as she was travelling anyway) They confirmed that she should come in to pick up. When she arrived, no work had been done and they asked her to come back later. I went in myself today. They were measuring things unevenly and told them tricks to do it right (that Allan taught me). When I asked if they would guarantee the date THEY gave me, they agreed that it would be done despite the issue with my wife's order. Just as I was about leave the parking lot they came running to my out to my car saying they were unsure if they could meet their own timeliness. They returned my clothes and recommended I go elsewhere. Which I did. Over 15 yrs and they are willing to lose a loyal customer. Sad to see an excellent locally owned business that has lost talent and customer service.

They charged me $50 + and the tailor did not take any measurements for altering the one pair of jeans, he pulled them back from the waist. They didn't fit me at all. He didn't seem to know how to fix them and take proper measurements. I left the jeans there and walked out. They don't reply to my requests for a refund.

We arrived on time but the salesguy didn't know to expect us and I don't think the service was any different than if we just walked in. AKA don't waste your time making an appointment if you just want to look at fabric and styles. Not very many/any bright/colorful options. Was quoted ~$1,100 for a blazer in our chosen fabric. Loved that you can get no lining (stays cooler for hot-blooded people) or half lining. Lots of cool lining fabrics. Overall we did not go with a custom blazer from here, but may be back to see there already made jackets and just get one tailored.
