Have been going here for over a year and I have always had a wonderful experience until recently. I've noticed that the last few appointments my nail tech, Teresa, has started rushing through my Mani/pedi to get to the next customer. Also, I've experience several incidents where I've been addressed as if I'm some errant child instead of the paying customer; to the point I've canceled an appointment because Teresa was so rude. I don't know if its because some days the salon seems under staffed, but I'm going to give it one more try before I start searching out another nail salon. read more

I just had the worst experience at Royal Nails. I arrived there at approximately 4:30 that afternoon and did not get service until 5:30. I was told that it would be awhile like 30 minutes. When I final sat in the seat. I had to wait another 10 minutes before someone came. He proceeded on my feet and never asked what service I wanted. He went through the routine on my feet rather quickly. I finally stopped him and said his work was unacceptable especially since there was gel and lotion up and down my leg. It is especially annoying if you have to tell the manicurist to go back and cleanup what he should have done for a basic pedicure. I spoke to manager and his stone face reply, "you don't have to pay." read more

This is my second time at this salon. All the staff are friendly, courteous and professional. The deluxe pedicure is truly deluxe, with a heating pad for your neck and shoulders and a lovely massage. There is s large selection of polish to choose from and the salon is spotlessly clean! read more

Horrible particularly Lucky he filled my nails in today, I've never experienced worse service. I thought my nails were fine until I made it home an hour after they were done... His attitude towards me was horrible.. I've seen him act similar with other black customers. Then I saw him interact with people of different races and its not the same. I get a vibe that this business does not appreciate black business. I won't be back. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone until they learn how to treat ALL customers with respect.. read more

This nail salon is the best one I've been to! I love to get my nails done everywhere I travel and many times end up disappointed. However, Royal Nails has not only a beautiful salon but also the best employees I've met. The ladies and gentlemen are polite and accommodating. The brand new facility is also gorgeous. They were more than happy to accommodate myself and 6 friends on a Sunday afternoon. The prices are slightly higher, but the quality of service is well worth paying a few extra dollars. read more

The best in Montgomery...search no further!! I've been coming to Royal Nails since they opened about 3 years ago. I've also visited a few others, including Antony Vince in EastChase and none surpass the tranquil environment, the great nail techs, the cleanliness, and the amazingly organized polish/gel selection that this place has to offer. No TV's just soft, soothing music. The most impressive is how nice and organized they keep the huge assortment of polishes....all sorted by brand, then color and there's a gel polish for each color...simply like no other salon I've ever been. Made a 1:45 urgent appointment. Called to notify them I'd be 5 minutes late and everything seemed fine. I arrived at 1:50 and the host was very dismissive. Didn't seem to care I was in a rush for a wedding and told me there's no way they'd be able to complete my full set before 3:00pm. Note to self: always get my nails done before leaving Atlanta. I would have to say by far the customer service has declined tremendously. I made an appointment and Teresa didn't honor it. I was there 5 minutes before the scheduled time. After sitting there for 35 minutes, I visited her to let her know that I was waiting as she completed a customer nails. She reminded me that I had been serviced by a coworker and that she couldn't do my nails. Now I have been serviced by ALL of the senior techs, ALL that worked there before the expansion. She went on to tell me that she knows her customers when they enter and didn't know I was there for her. I don't see why this matters at all. I MADE an appointment and it should have been honored. She went on to rant about me being a coworker customer and then told me she couldn't provide the service because she didn't want to do her coworkers client. I'm now convinced that there is a code within the nail tech industry that customers are not allowed to ask for service from additional techs within an establishment. I think this is SCARY. It also states that they have the right to deny service to anyone and it was denied to me on today. I'm totally disappointed. Visit at your own risk!!!! read more

I brushed it off my first visit but today, I sat & watched him be so warm to everyone else but he was sooooooo rude to me and instead of putting my change in my hand.. he sat it on the counter & WALKED OFF. Found this place on yelp while I was in the area. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded with several people waiting. I thought I was going to have to wait awhile but due to me only getting a French Gel manicure I literally waited for 3 mins before it was my turn. The lady who did my nails was awesome and quick. I did not feel like she rushed my nails, she did a great job and made me feel like I was the only one in the salon. Weekends are crowded especially for pedicures so try to come during the week day. read more

I went to Royal Nails yesterday with a friend! We were walk ins, and were taken back promptly. We both got SNS dip nails done, and we are so pleased with the result! This salon uses legitimate SNS product, and they showed us everything before getting started (we had a bad experience elsewhere that used fake SNS and destroyed our nails). Andy took care of me and did such a fabulous job!! We were in and out in about an hour, and we were very impressed with the service, the cleanliness of the salon, and the overall product! From the time I walked in I was not acknowledged. Someone else came in after me and they catered to her immediately. After I was finally finished, my nails were mediocre at best and I paid entirely too much. Especially when I have gotten the same services with better results for a lesser price. The first time I went it was ok!! I was new to the city. I think I have been about 6 times total. Today I went it was horrible. It was around 4pm, the sign said they close at 7 pm. I was next to get service, 4 other clients came in after me. The employee approached me and said asked what I need I said pedi and mani she began to scream "we don't have time! We don't have time. So everyone that was waiting to be serviced walked out. The other employees sat with their heads down like they knew what she was about to say. I'm not gonna pay and beg for service. While traveling for business I needed my nails done. This was the only nail salon open on Sunday in the Montgomery area. I called and made an appointment 30 minutes in advance. The exterior looks a bit shady, windows completely covered by white drapes. But once you walk in, completely beautiful. Everything was very clean, bright, comfortable, friendly staff, and an adorable resident dog. They have a huge selection of polish, and complimentary drinks including wine. Had a spa pedi, and gel manicure by Angela. She was very sweet and I was very pleased with my mani/pedi. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in town. read more

Absolutely horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate my nails so much I couldn't wait to leave that place! I previously called and asked the lady how much a simple fill with gel polish would be and she told me $35 but she had to fix 2 of my nails and charged me $5 each without telling me before she did it! Ended leaving with a $45 bill for nails that I'm very disappointed in! She was rude and rough and burned my finger 3 times! Super sloppy! I just drove 20 minutes from my hotel to visit this salon because it had good reviews. It was 1pm as soon as I walked into the store a the man had an extremely rude look on his face. I told him me and my guest were still deciding what to have done. He abruptly said "It doesn't matter what you want. We don't have time for you?" This was the most rude and unnecessary way to speak to a potential costumer. I hate to say it was about race but previous comments may suggest otherwise. I do agree with Nedra L. that the guy that sits @ the front can be rude acting.... he has taken my payment & left me standing there while I put my card away w/o saying "thank-u" or "come again". when I looked up he had turned his back & walked off.
