Made an appointment for 3:45, they took me at 4:05 and then proceeded to rush the entire process of my acrylic nail fill, and were not very gentle about it either. This was not the first time this happened:( Then asked what color I chose and didn't have the color... again not the first time! So the technician picked a color that was supposed to be very similar, but it wasn't even close! I keep wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, but my patience is running thin ! read more

I was standing in line Wegmans lamenting about how long my new acrylics were and that the colour although fun wasn't job interview appropriate when I saw these two lovely ladies in front of me with the best nails ever. So I asked and they said I had to go to Royal. The fit me in Sunday am and I was out in an hour. Polish change and shortened my talons. My technician was very sweet and she did a great job. Hit or Miss! For sure I have been coming here for a long time. Some weeks my nails look great other times not. Sometimes they charge you something different. It's always "Bring your kids to work day". The sense of entitlement is unreal. For example if you make any suggestions based on years of experience you have getting your nails done, they are quick to correct you. Today will be the last time getting my nails done here. I always tip and I never say anything but it doesn't look like they care to hear any constructive criticism nor will it make a difference. I waited too long without acknowledgement. Too many people waiting and not enough staff. It seemed like they were rushing so I opted to not to get anything done. It seemed clean. Not a huge selection of colors. Waiting area is small and not the most comfortable. Prices are displayed clearly so that's good. read more

My friend and I went here today because we wanted to try the place out. Well we were horribly mistaken. My friend waited over 35 minutes (while sitting in the chair that they told her to) without anybody coming over to assist. The gentleman assisting her was rude and had a snarky remark for everything she was saying in a polite way. On the flip side the lady who was assisting me was very polite. I was visiting for the weekend and this was my first time here. I called beforehand and asked their wait time. I was told over the phone that there was no wait time and upon arrival that was still true, so that was a plus. Unfortunately, the salon does not have any air conditioning so it was very hot inside. I chose a very pale powder blue gel color from the samples and when I googled it to see the color on other people's skin tones, the color was actually a bright turquoise. I showed the nail technician and she acknowledged the difference and helped me decide on another color. I appreciated that she didn't just say "oh pick another color then." She recognized the mishap and didn't make me feel like an annoying customer. One issue I did have though is that the nail technician had one headphone in and I REALLY dislike when people have headphones in when I'm getting a service done or when someone is at work. The salon was a little dirty, not the cleanest salon I've ever been in, but my nails look amazing. I'm really impressed by the quality of my manicure. read more

I go for pedicures mostly for the massage chairs and the foot and calf massage that comes with it. It is a nice benefit that your nails get cut in a much more thorough way than I would or could ever do but the massage makes it all worth it for me. This place is a good nail salon but nothing out of the ordinary. Whether or not you get a good foot massage is a crapshoot depending on who you get. The massage chairs are the best in the area however! read more

Went there for the first time and wasn't thrilled. The price is great but you get what you pay for. The pedicure is very rushed and so are the nails. It's great to be in an out but attention to detail is needed. I also thought I would get a disease from the pedicure tub. It didn't seem clean to me at all. I barely put my feet in. Also, there was a guy who was taking off my old gel polish with the drill, and cut my cuticle with it and it's still burning almost 24 hours later. The towels they use for the pedicure and manicure are very old and gross looking. There are plenty of other nail salons in the area to try. They also barely speak English so it's really hard to communicate. read more
